Talk Sonos Products

All of a sudden, no longer hearing audio from eras 300 surrounds and from both subs on arc ultra living room setup. I see Dolby atmos logo playing in the Sonos app for the room. Those 4 devices all showed the mute green icon at first while audio was playing out of the ultra only, after a reboot and repair there’s no green led, but there still no audio from them. ear is right next to speaker, surround and sub volume set to max (going up and down only makes a difference on the ultra). Using Apple TV 4K which has worked great with plex with content I can see Dolby atmos getting streamed. Playing on a Samsung s95b I’ve set up to pass through audio in the past. what can I do? I feel like I’ve done most things I can

The on going question topic of “Saving Group Level settings” From what have seen has in this Community is it NEVER been addressed by Sonos for over10 years now!! Having the ability to custom saving levels, as a group, is a much needed feature. Sonos please consider adding this to the app!! 

I have sonos 1 and I want to listen to BBC sounds and it has stopped working.  Says I must update Sonos app but I can’t because then it won’t work with my Sonos anymore.  What can I do to listen to BBC sounds on my existing speakers?

My Ultra sounds great, but it hear no ATMOS effects. According to Sonos, I should see an ATMOS badge on the “Now Playing” screen AND within the systems menu. I do see the ATMOS badge on my“Now Playing” screen but, not with in System Ap. I this normal?

I've got the Sonos Web App on my Mac.  I have a system at work, a system at home, and one in my summerhouse. I've got connected to my home system, but can't find a way to change back to my other systems. I can logoff and on again, but it is inconvenient.

I just bought my first Sonos product - the arc ultra. I see Sonos has an upgrade program. Is that exclusively for older products? Just owning the new soundbar, do I not get the upgrade discount? I’m looking to buy a couple of Era 300 speakers as surrounds and hoping I can use this upgrade discount for it. Thanks for the help!

I surrendered and eventually installed the last update.In the old app I could enter a search string and the see different categories like song, playlist, artist and podcast. Where are these categories in the new app? How can I search for podcasts? Thanks for help!

I am unable to download the pdf version of the product guide for the Arc Ultra. The button seems to do nothing. Am I missing something or is ther an ongoing issue with the site?

I have a 50x60 barn style room, 16 ft ceilings.  Currently I have 2 fives and 1 sub gen 3.  Question is, can I add 2 more fives and a sub 4 to help enhance the quality of the sound.Is it worth the additional expense?

Every time I login to Sonos it nags me to check for S2 compatibility.  I know full well I have perfectly functioning components that are not compatible with S2.  Why do you have to nag me every day??

Hi,I am trying to figure out how far below the TV the Arc has to be placed with an extendable wall mount, i figured since the Speaker is now coming out 5 inches i no longer need the full 4-5 inch clearance from the TV since the upfiring speakers are now in front, but the only other threads covering this topic were in a recessed tv. In an ideal world id like a flush arc that I can pull out when watching movies, and recommendations on minimum distance?Thank youDeep

I’m reopening this topic with Sonos’s new product line in mind. We currently have a setup that includes a Sonos Arc as the front speaker array (L, R, and Center channels) and two rear surround speakers powered by a Sonos Amp. We’d like to add a third-party subwoofer, connected via a separate amplifier, using the LFE input from the Sonos Amp. However, in the past, this setup was disabled when using the Arc in a home theater configuration. Has this functionality changed with Sonos’s latest product updates?  Can a 3rd party Sub be supported in some fashion, w/the ARC Ultra and Sonos Amp in the landscape.  

Long shot, but has anyone dismantled a Play:1 and turned it into a simple passive speaker fed by the traditional pair of speaker wires i.e. already amplified input?

I have a Sonos Port with current software (uploaded on another Sonos network)I tried to create a new Sonos network with this port on a different wifi network using my Android mobile phone with the latest App.The Add device process kept failing at the last step to register the port on Sonos network. I could see the device on my phone in the Sonos app; it prompted me to Fix it but it kept failing telling me to try again later.I then looked at one of the discussions and it suggested using the Sonos Windows App, which I have on my PC to manage the update. This worked. The registration step completed, and the new Sonos system is working fine, both on the Sonos app on my Windows PC and on my Android mobile phone.As the discussion suggested, the problem seems to be the mobile phone app.
