Hi

i am using since some year the playbar and I am still pretty happy with it. I was considering to extend it to home cinema and wanted to buy a set of era 100. after researching it seems they are not compatible to my playbar. What other options do I have?

any ideas are welcome.

thx in advance

best regards

Norbert

Look for a pair of used One SLs. You could even use the older Play:1s.

Thanks. Any option to connect a sub and from there to newer speakers?

You can add a Sub (Gen 1, 2, or 3) or a Sub Mini to the Playbar. You can also add two Subs for a dual Sub setup as long as one of the Subs is a Gen 3.

As has been stated you can add sub (or subs) but as to newer speakers such as the Era series the answer is no. The only upgrade for rears as opposed Play 1’s would be to Sonos One’s.
