when turning up the volume sliders in the app, the sliders are not responding properly, when I slide to increase the volume slider will move up and then back on it’s on. also there is a big delay when hitting the play buttons as well as pausing a track.

Since the new app update this month, the Pandora play modes (e.g. Deep Cuts, Discovery, etc) is not visible.  Anyone know how to set that in Sonos, or did they eliminate it???

I have contacted your support several times since may when you launched the new app version.Every time i get a real polite answer. We are working on this and it will be fixed en a couple of week.Now many “couple of weeks” have passed and absolutely nothing has been fixed. Actually ten “10” weeks.I still haven’t access to my music library (my primary source), cannot add to my playlists from other sources than Sonos own. it is a scandal and you (Sonos) have failed your customers to that extent. It's a mockery. I am now actively looking for a replacement for my Sonos, I simply have to have a more stable and reliable system.

Hi @Corry P / @Jamie A / @Sotiris C., so many issues with the new app and so many threads, that I don't know if this one has been discussed yet, so I would like to report it to be sure it’s on the backlog:I use Amazon Music and I listen mostly to their Stations. When I play an Album from Amazon Music or Live Station from Sonos Radio they correctly appear on the Recently Played. But, when I play an Amazon Music Station, it doesn't.In 16.1 and before it always appeared. Could you add it to the bug backlog, please?Thanks

What is the least expensive method to connect a Bang & Olufson beosound stage soundbar to a sonos play ONE OR a sonos Play:3.  I know a Sonos port is an option but last I checked that device costs about $500.  Thank you.  

Any recommendations of what wall outlet plug to buy for charging Roam 2 via the USB-C to USB-C cable that comes with it?  The only one I’m seeing on Sonos store is for the old prior gen Roam and USB–C to USB–A.  I’m going to buy the charging kit too, but I also want to be able to plug it right into the wall as opposed to setting it on the charging stand.

I’ve just upgraded to the latest version of the Sonos app, v80.05.04, but now I can play any content services!I have 3 services connected including Deezer and BBC sounds, and I can search and select music or radio channels but whenever I actually try to select and play something from Deezer I get an error “something went wrong try again” but it never works. Rafal

Have you considered getting people who actually enjoy listening to music to develop the app? It might be better if it was developed by individuals who actually enjoy listening to music and use the app.

We are looking to install a home audio system in our rental property for which we use as well. Looking for ceiling speakers (2-4) as well as outdoor speakers (2-4). Looking for a Recommendations on equipment. Thank you in advance. 

I have three sets of ceiling speakers and each set have their own Sonos Amp.The first amp has the HDMI Arc coming from the TV and is connected to the front speakers near the TV.The second amp is connected to the rear speakers. I want these speakers to carry the surround sound.The third amp is connected to the outdoor speakers. Occasionally I want to use them to carry the same TV signal as the first amp. This would allow watching 2 TVs but the sound would be in synch with the living room TV.How do I configure this with the app?

Hi System is 2 x Play 1 and 2 ceramic 300.When playing a track the music stops and restarts within a few seconds.It does this with every track played and is not intermittent.Any thoughts would be welcome.Thanks

So somehow playing music from iOS Music (and Classical) app through iPhone built-in speakers is giving you an “Atmos” playback experience but playing it through AirPlay on a Sonos Arc and 2 x Era 300 rear speaker array is giving you Lossless?   

I have a home with 5 zones of wired speakers, each zone have a wall mounted volume control, all speaker wire goes back to the same location. I want to be able to stream music over all zones or some of the zones and would like to connect TV audio to one of the zones. Is this something that Sonos can do and if so what equipment do I need. I think I have a new idea as to why sone Roam 2s are not charging.  Mine has the same problem  I tried quite an assortment of chargers and cables. I also did the long press reset suggestion multiple times.  All to no avail. In the evening I sometimes got intermittent charging with USB-C (charge for 5 minutes, then stop for an hour, repeat).    The only variable that changed when I got the intermittent charging was room temp.  So I thought, what if the battery temperature sensor is bad or miscalibrated.  Since it protects the battery from overheating, it may be shutting it off at too low a temperature, such as at room temp (80 in my house during summer).So I put it on my weakest Qi charger  (which never charged it at all) and put it in the fridge overnight.  Voila! it went all the way to 100%.  This was repeatable.  I’d move it outside, and while on the charger, it would discharge at 10% an hour.  Back into the fridge, and perfect chargingSo try it in the fridge to see if my case is a o

Odd one here. I create a new album every year from Proms concert mp3s and store them in an album named “Proms (yyyy)”.Time was when I clicked on the album name when I searched for “Proms” under albums it would list all the tracks. Now on all those albums I get no songs (tracks listed). I can find them if I search the track individually and they play. I am getting this on the Mac controller, iPhone app and Sonophone app too. But other albums I’ve recently ripped eg “This is where I came in” by the Bee Gees shows the tracks fine if I search via albums and then click that one Really odd Any ideas gratefully explored!

I am building a patio that will house 2 TV’s (most likely Samsung),  and the wall are open so I can still run all the cables I need to make the system work.  How do I set up/connect 2 tv's to one sound bar (sonos arc), one sub, and additional speakers?  

I have a Beam S2 hooked via HDMI to my C3 LG OLED TV via the eArc port on the LG TV.  I have a DirecTV Genie mini hooked via HDMI to port 1 on the LG and Apple TV hooked via HDMI to port 4 on the TV.  Months ago, I programmed the DirecTV remote to work with the Beam and the LG TV.  All worked as desired with the DirecTV remote controlling the volume of the Beam directly (meaning, not changing the TV’s volume per se).  This allowed me to change channels on the DirecTV Genie as well as control volume as well as turning the TV off & on.  Suddenly two days ago, when trying to raise the volume via the DirecTV remote, the Beam would raise it the volume to the maximum after a delay.  Trying to lower the volume using the DirecTV remote would, after a delay, slide the volume all the way off (not muted, just set all the way down).  I have tried reprogramming the remote, resetting the Beam, the TV and the Genie, trying a new DirecTV remote I happened to have, checked firmware and all that via

Hello everyone, I currently have 2 Era 300, 1 Arc soundbar, and 1 Sub Gen3. I want to improve my system. It seems that I can add a second sub, but I would like to know if it is possible to go further, for example by adding 2 Era 300 in the front or 2 Sonos Five. However, I can't find this information anywhere. What is the limit on the number of speakers for a home cinema?Sorry for my English, it's not my native language :)

A thread here, “Show the Composer tag on the Now Playing screen,” started 11 years ago and was closed 4 years ago. Scores of users pleaded for composer information, essential for classical music and other genres, but Sonos didn’t add Composer to the Now Playing screen and afaik didn’t respond.I’m making the same request but for related Sonos controller screens: track lists (like album listings or Queue) and Song Info. For example, here’s a screenshot of the Song Info for a track on a classical compilation album. The composer, Stravinsky, isn’t shown anywhere in Sonos but the information is stored in the library: if I go to Composers and choose Stravinsky this album and track are listed.The only way I’m currently able to identify composers on compilation albums in Sonos is to go back to iTunes or dig out the CDs I have boxed in a closet. The need to do either is absurd.If someone at Sonos reads this, please pass it along to the development team. It is not a niche issue!
