Hello there..I’m wondering if I can group a Sonos Roam with two Sonos One and transmit via bluetooth to Roam and the Roam shares the stream to other grouped speakers. In my ongoing frustration to save about £10 a month (I know, but it’s better in my pocket than theirs), I’ve been trying to find a way to play YouTube via my Sonos stereo pair. YouTube are idiots.Their interface is so basic and clunky that I’m not even tempted to spend out on their speaker system....and it MUST be costing them money as people simply won’t spend on a platform that doesn’t work with their systems. If anyone has ideas on how to make this work, I’m all ears.I only have two Sonos One and 6 3rd gen Echo Dots.
HI Community,I have the gen 1 Sonos Amp wired to 4 speakers in our cealing and a sonos Sub also. A room called Kitchen. For easy listening. On my more serious hifi system i run a Cambridge Audio evo 150 amp which is wired to my BKS Hybrid 150 speakers. To this Cambridge i have connected the old Sonos connect (called living room) so i can get sonos sound to run in both rooms. This is working the 2 rooms are not in sync which is quite annoying.Any ideas would be appreciated
hi. I need advice. I have a sonos arc + sub (gen3) and I would like a full-fledged dolby atmos sound. Can anyone advise me on what speakers I should buy?
Hi, I have honed in on the Sonos Arc 7.1.4 Home Theater Bundle and adding two separate Era 300’s for our new home build. The Bundle would be in the family room and the added Era 300’s in the kitchen. I am trying to be as wire free as possible in our open concept family room/kitchen room. My goal is to have the ability to play the family room setup along with the two added Era 300’s in the kitchen at the same time or have the ability to watch a movie with the surround sound setup in the family room while playing streaming music in the kitchen. Any advice is appreciated as this is a big expense and I want to make the right decision.
I moved into a townhouse with in-ceiling speakers pre-installed, so I purchased the newest Amp (as of late 2023) to power them. It works great for steaming music from my phone. It also works great via an HDMI connection between the amp and my TV. I want to add a subwoofer and a soundbar so I can:1- Stream music from my phone and get in-ceiling + subwoofer (soundbar is a bonus, don’t care if it works)2- Watch TV/movies and get in-ceiling + sub + soundbar in terms of products I’m thinking about adding, I am thinking Beam 2 and Sub 3rd gen will this setup work with what I’m trying to do?
Can not control volume from my cel phone

I got Sonos Arc and Sub under my TV, but I lack a rear/surround sound. So I consider buying Sonos Era 300. What do you think is the best placement for it?Thought about 3 options (pictures attached). Not sure I need 2 Eras though..What do you think?Let me know if you got another idea..Thanks!
I have purchased new Sony TV KD-55X75WL which I wish to connect to Sonos 5 speakerOn my old Sony TV worked well via Line-InThe new TV has Dolby Atmos
Would you so kind as to help mi with the following issues as I can't find answers quickly. And I still prefer to seek support form the source :-)I tested and bought a Sonos Arc last week and it works well but I can't decide where to putit to work best. My "indoor cinema" is a retractable screen (3 x 2.5 m) anda BenQ W2700 projector (photos). This screen is perforated, which means it isacoustically "transparent" (but probably not completely). And, the basic issue is that thescreen (rolled out from the ceiling) has its lower edge separated from the floor by 44.5 cmand the distance from the wall to the screen plane is 29 cm.I have three options for installing Sonos Arc:- behind the screen, on the wall (1 m from the floor, "height" of the heads of seated "cinema" viewers)- on the wall, under the screen (40 cm from the floor)- on the wall under the screen 44.5 cm from the floor, on a boom eliminating the distance of 29 cmWhich solution is the best from the acoustics point of view?
Have own Sonos system for 2 years and never been able to connect to Audible. Many talks to support and no solution. I live in Iceland and have Audible UK, but when I connect to Audible the authentication is always for Audible US. Support tells me that I have to change my Sonos Profile and live in UK. For many months my Profile says I live in UK but still the authentication is for Audible US instead of UK.Why don’t let user choose witch Audible Market u want to authenticate against? Like everyone else does it.
I don’t use Sonos every day. But on the weekends it’s nice to use. Unfortunately the constant requirement for updates forces me to stop what I’m doing, update my computer, update my mobile device, often restart my computer and device, sometimes unplug sonos or my router to reset. It’s become so burdensome that Sonos is no longer a usable device. This has been going on for years without any signs of improvement. Sorry, no longer will I be a Sonos user
Bonjour à tous la communauté je souhaite évoluer et acheter une table de mixage pouvez me dire quelles sont les marques compatibles sonos en table de mixage et si l achat du PORT est indispensable cordialement guihome
I’m looking for advice to setup my master bedroom.Bedroom has two ceiling speakers close to the wall mounted TV. I have a Sonos AMP connected to the speakers I have a Sonos Mini Sub in the room. My viewing area is on the bed, which is opposite wall to the TV.What is the ideal surround setup? If the ceiling speakers are close to the rear, I’d just use them as a surround and problem solved.I was thinking of either a Beam or Arc along with Era 300. But not sure if the fact that the ceiling speakers are in the front would affect the decision.
hi just touching on this which im sure has already been asked plenty of times, but can we just get dts hd and dts x already it seems crazy to me to think a system that can cost up to and over 1500 hasnt the ability to play these modern formats, when you could pick up a standard av receiver for about 300 pound which would support all the mentioned formatsI have found myself more times than enough now sitting down to watch a film and simply getting mute audio just because it is in dts hd or dts x and quite alot of the time this is when i have friends and family over so it isnt a good look for the sonos brand that it cant produce sound for these types of movies or tv showsit is somnething that could quite easily be achieved since yous went and enabled dts standard after not supporting it, i feel if yous want to be seen as the go to soundbars yous then have to make sure its the go to for audio formats also which currently it isnt dont get me wrong the sonos eco system and products are fant
I have a weird one. Is Sonos Radio HD Channel New Wave down? Every other channel I try works, but not that one. It’s one of my favorites, but it isn’t playing anything. Just wanted to see if it was just me or everyone.
Its now 2023, about a year after the previous Arc Gen 2 query was posted and closed, so making a new one. Any news/rumours/updates of an ETA? We thinking by end of this year or most likely 2024?
I would like the Sonos ARC to get some sort of EQ adjustment also a way of manually changing the centre channel output volume. I find this to be very useful on other soundbar set ups. For me the ARCs weakness is the dialogue it can be too quiet and hard to hear voices, you then turn volume up and the overall sound is too loud, a way of manually adjusting this would be great. Yes I have done triplet many time, used speech enhancement and latest software done many different adjustments and never been happy with it.so Sonos please give us this.
Hi community, I’m looking for a sonos setup for my living room. The room is rather large (15x20 feet) with 10 feet high ceilings. I would mainly stream Spotify and watch Netflix/Apple tv, most of the usage will probably be music. I’m not looking for immersive surround that will come from rear speakers, rather an esthetic setup for daily use that will support watching movies as well.I was thinking about:2x Era 100 1x Sub Mini or 1x Sub (Gen3) My concerns are:Will this setup fill the room? How will the connection to the TV work? Is it via Bluetooth? Will I have lips sync issues between the TV and the speakers of this setup? Should I consider replacing the 2x Era 100 with a soundbar? which one? Thanks!
Buonasera, vorrei acquistare il mio primo prodotto Sonos ( Era100) e volevo sapere se si può collegare alla TV via bluetooth senza bisogno della barra audio.Grazie
Are Sonos devices in a surround setup using dedicated wireless connections even if all devices are connected wired via Ethernet and WiFi is disabled in the settings?I am running a Sonos surround setup (arc, sub and two era300). All devices are connected to the home Gigabit network via dedicated Ethernet cables. WiFi is disabled in the Sub and Arc settings. The Eras are connected via Sonos Combo adapter. Everything works fine.Checking the web interface of the surround devices via port 1400 there are no ath0 entries in the ipconfig report. But I am still wondering if there is a wireless connection between the surround devices. Can someone from Sonos give a „official“ answer?
I have the Arc, Sub and Era 300 connected to my LG for surround cinema sound, would I notice the difference if I added Sonos Amp with a second sub?I love watching movies as close to cinema sound i can get on Sonos.
Hi All I have a very quick and simple question: Can I SWITCH OFF the Wifi and Bluetooth PERMANENTLY from my Sonos One? I am keen on using Sonos One connected to my Router via a Ethernet cable and also because I want to reduce the EMF Radiation in my Flat. Thanks in advance N
I would like music to start playing on three different speakers at the same time. Thought an alarm would be best, but, even though there is a grouped rooms option, it only goes off on one speaker. A few questions for you pros:What is the purpose of that “included grouped speakers” option if it does not play speakers grouped together? I have multiple groups, in which the same speakers are grouped. How does checking that option determine which of the speaker’s groups are triggered? Finally, if there is no way to make this work, would setting the same alarm (to Sirius XM) on multiple speakers seperately work? Thanks all! D
Hi. I'm a Sonus system newbie and new to the forum as well. I'm just looking for a little advice on the best state to leave a Sonus system in when it's not being used. We have a new home theater system consisting of an LG OLED tv, Sonos ARC, Sub & Era 100's for surround sound. My wife, or I, will very frequently use blue tooth headphones to watch tv so as not to disturber the other. In order to use the BT headphones I have disable both HDMI-CEC and eARC on the tv. With HDMI-CEC & eARC disabled the status LED on the Sub and Era's remain white as long as Sub Audio and Surround Audio are left enabled on the Sonos app. If I disable the Sub & Surround Audio on the Sonos app, the LED on both starts a slow green flash.I know a white LED means the device is powered and ready to use and the slow green flash just means the devise is disabled in the Sonos app. My question: is there a recommended state for the devices in when not in use? Does one state consume more power than the other
