I have two One SLs. One of them refuses to receive AirPlay. The other works fine. When I try to choose it as AirPlay receiver I get an error message saying it’s unable to connect to the speaker. Is there a fix? This is the whole point I bought SONOS speakers… And no, the problem isn't that I haven’t power cycled or updated or things like that. Partly because the other speaker works fine and part because I’ve already tried that.
Connect a speaker
Hello, I own 2 Play 1, a Beam and a sub. I would lire to buy a vinyl turtable Pro-Ject T1 with an Era 100. Could I built a multi room via WiFi with all of them ? thanks Pascal
Hey!Used to be able to link both One and Roam (in different rooms). All I get now is an error message. What's the dealio?"Unable to connect. Try again later"I did.It didn't.Reconnected both to the network. Updated all updates! Pressed the 'play' button to link the 'off' one to the 'on' one - no joy. Any off you Sonos heads out there got an answer? Be a shame to bin 'em off as they're cool bits of kit. Thanks!
I have always the green led Light Burkina, how can i get this fixed?
A little while ago I had to change out my network controller and Firewall as they were legacy devices and no longer receiving security updates. I was running a UniFi USG and a Gen 1 Cloudkey with a couple of UniFi Access Points. I swapped out the controller and USG for a UniFi Express device and moved my network across. Everything went smoothly and I setup an IOT VLAN for all my smart home devices using a 2.4ghz network only for the WiFi. All of the devices reconnected fine (doorbell camera, rear cctv camera, LED Strips, smart lights etc.) apart from the Symfonisk Speaker. Now to compound the problem this was also around the time of the firmware not updating issue and I had to factory reset the speaker and hardwire it to get it to talk to the Windows client to update.Since then I have tried numerous times to connect the Speaker to my WiFi and it fails every single time. When I go through the process on my Android phone it does everything fine up until it tries to connect to the WiFi an
How do we get a class action suit going?
I recently came across a problem where I can’t connect a gen2 SUB to my stereo pair of Sonos Ones. App says I need a compatible speaker and only lists all the soundbars as being compatible. In the past I’ve had no issues connecting gen1,2 and 3 SUBS to a pair of Ones and also a pair of Play1s. Has something changed that I’m not aware of and can now only be connected to a soundbar? Thanks 🙏🏻
I hear a knock sound coming from my speakers
HiI have a beam gen2 in the tv room, 1 move in the kitchen and 2 one sl in the living room.It is not possible to cast music in the all house unless i UNPAIR the 2 one sl. It works either with move + 2 sl paired or beam + move. When I unpair the 2 one sl, i can cast beam+move+2 one sl Do you know if there is a solution to that? Thanks
I wasn’t able to resolve the Error 1000 through the phone. But updating the system through my Mac iOS app was a breeze. I managed to easily update and now the error is resolved. Hope this will help others who are frustrated with the app. Hope Sonos gets back to its flawless app again. The new app is more of a curse than a boon.
Most songs that I try to play on my Sonos (two Play:1’s set up as a Stereo pair and a Play:3 plugged in to a Google Nest wifi via ethernet) cut out for the last 10-20 seconds, and it’s just silence until the next song starts. After two one-hour phone calls with Sonos and another one with Verizon, I don’t think it is a network issue… the Sonos rep first tried to tell me that the Verizon “modem/router” was “causing interference” and that I had to put it into “bridge mode” and then after a long time on the phone with Verizon we realized that it was just an ONT box with no router, so there was nothing to put into bridge mode. Then after another hour of support with Sonos they asked me to plug in a speaker via ethernet, which I did, and which still did not fix the issue. Anyone else seeing this? I’m mostly trying to play stuff locally in my music library but it also happens on streaming songs (didn’t seem to happen with Sonos Radio, but I think radio is treated differently since there’s not
Hello. Im Ralf and writing from Estonia. I recently purchased new sonos Arc Ultra and older Sub gen3. Really appreciatethe sound quality and sub plays really low. Definitely planning to buy dual subs one day. And i had an product idea for you guys. Dear Sonos. Lets name it Sub Ultra (Gen1) . Idea would be that it would fill the precious needs of bassheads and bigger rooms with powerful and low bass. Becayse the arc ultra allready sounds so friking big, loud and good then i feel like the sub cant keep up woth it to the end. And dont get me wrong. Sub is awesome allready. And fits well everywhere with its size and design. But hear me out….. SUB ULTRAVisually Same design as regular sub gen 3 and 4. But….. Bigger. Same dual woofer system but…..instead of dual 8 inches it would be dual 10inches… So not overkill so it would not get too heavy and big but would maybe be possible to produce 20hz as its lowest frequencies. But more inportant it wouldnt lose its power compared to sound that other
We have a problem with a customer's system. The system correctly detects 3 SONOS ONES but when we try to add a fourth player the app detects it but then the message "unable to add SONOS ONE to account" appears. The same happens when we try to add a Port. On the login page (https://sonos.com/login) after entering email and password appears the warning "system not registered require validation email" Could this be the cause of the problem?
Hello Sonos Support Team, I’m experiencing an issue with connecting my Sonos device to Wi-Fi. Despite entering the correct Wi-Fi password, the device fails to connect under any circumstances. I’ve tried multiple times to ensure the password is correct, but the connection still does not establish. Could you please assist me in troubleshooting this issue? Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.
Hi,I have two ERA 300 speakers running as a group in my living room. When I try to play via Airplay sound only comes from one speaker. If I manually power on the second speaker in the group I get a message that my Apple Music subscription is only for one device.Airplay is seeing the two grouped speakers as two devices. If the speakers are then connected as a stereo pair both speakers work fine.Is there any way around this issue? Dan
Good morning, Hi everyone, I have a pair of Era 100s set up under my TV that I'm using as a stereo pair. Neither speaker has any issues on their own, or as a stereo pair through the app. It is only when they are connected through Bluetooth to my computer, one speaker randomly cuts in and out, completely ruining the stereo experience. I've already disconnected, factory reset, and reconnected them. They work great through the Sonos system, but over Bluetooth one always seems to cut out. I can't watch movies through my computer via Bluetooth without being completely pulled out of the experience as my right ear gets 0 of the audio. Any advice?
In my case, this error was when trying to connect to new WiFi (new router) was incorrect.Uninstall the Sonos app, reinstall and factory reset your Sonos and it will then connect - there is a bug in the Sonos app. The uninstall and reinstall will also trigger an update to the Sonos One SL and the device will then connect.
I can see most of my (assorted) Sonos speakers in the Sound control panel of my Mac, which is running the latest OS (Sonoma 14.6.1). But when I try to select one of the Sonos speakers as the default sound output device, it flashes for a second and then reverts back to the previous default (either the Mac internal speakers or the desktop wired speakers (connected via mic port). Any suggestions?
I can’t reset my Play 5 model S100. It never turns green to connect

Do you have a guide on how to set up an SSID in my Meraki environment to wirelessly connect a couple of Five speakers to the network? I want to control the speakers with an iPad on the same wireless network, using the same VLAN. Right now, the app can’t see the speakers.
Hi Sonos Community,I’m trying to integrate audio playback from my website with my Sonos system, but I’m running into an issue where the sound isn’t syncing properly. The audio starts with a delay, and sometimes it doesn’t play at all through the Sonos speakers, even though other streaming services work fine. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Tested the playback on different devices (laptops, tablets), but the delay remains. Checked my Sonos app settings to make sure the network is stable. Updated both my website’s audio player and my Sonos system to their latest versions. Is there a recommended way to optimize website audio for smooth playback on Sonos, or has anyone else encountered issues with delays when streaming from a website? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
My Sonos One I used for surround sound died (crackling sound) after less than 3 years. Is this the normal lifespan of a Sonos speaker?
