I have 2 Play:1s.
I don’t use them often, but have been reliable for many years.
Tried to use them this past week and they have both disappeared from the app. And my system also can not be found. No changes to wifi, network, or router.
Tried to reconnect. No luck. Factory reset one of them and the app goes through the set up process and adds the speaker to the system with a final warning that the speaker has been added but may not be visible. If it’s not, unplug it and add it via system settings.
This proven unsuccessful now three times.

Connect one to your router with Ethernet, factory reset it and Add to your system. Make sure it picks up any updates. Then do the other.
Sometimes devices balk at updating if they are behind a few versions. Ethernet may help otherwise Sonos support needs to push the updates.
