I have updated the Sonos app and am trying to install my two Sonos play one speakers to my existing system. I have installed an ethernet cable and connected them to my router unplugged them then plug them back in while holding the pause button until the Amber light starts flashing it only flashes red and has been doing so for about 15 minutes. Is there anything I can do to, accomplish this and reinstall these to my system

The speakers need to be updated before you can add them to the S2 app, but since you are getting the red and the red and white led flashes, it may be time to call Sonos support.

They have to tools to diagnose your issue and get you up and running.

That means it was not setup within 30 minutes of being reset. Simply reboot one speaker at a time and try the setup process again.
