Virgin Media hub5, sonos play1 won't connect

Hi community 

I've just swapped my broadband from Sky to Virgin Media (hub5) and I've tried several attempts to get my sonos to connect to the new WiFi and so far I've failed.

So far I've tried the following:

1. Factory reset the sonos (play 1 - older model)

2. Split 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz

3. Plug the play1 to the router with a ethernet cable

 

My sonos app (on my phone) can find and connect to the sonos (when setting up a new system) but when it asks me to then connect to the 2.4ghz network it can't connect (and I'm definitely putting the password in correctly!!)

Please can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi did you get sorted iam in same boat cannot connect just keep saying password wrong when clearly it not 👍
