Anyone else finding their products dropping in and out since March 31st update? Our play:1's have been intermittent all weekend and today- 6th April, all products refuse to play any streaming services including BBC sounds and Spotify.I have tried a full system restart of both my hub and sonos products, but no dice.Anyone able to shed any light on this that doesn't involve me resetting/re-adding products etc. ive spent 3 hours on this today already.
I have had a stereo pair of Sonos One SL speakers on my covered patio where they are protected. They’ve been out there for years. All of a sudden they have been turning on and playing music spontaneously and disturbing my neighborhood. I don’t want to have to unplug and replug them every time I want to listen. But the speakers come on when nobody is home and the speakers play all day. This is becoming a big issue. Is there something I can do? Sonos support has been no help.
I have had a Beam with Ones in a stereo pair working rock solid for a few years. I also have a Five and a Move 2 and have had no issues at all. I’ve just added 2x Era 100s and a Sub mini to my setup. The Era 100s are in a stereo pair with the sub in one room (my office)At least once a day, the stereo pair drops/breaks down, with music just coming from one Era 100. The only way i can get it back together is to power cycle the speakers. I use the Sonos app mainly to play music but occasionally use Airplay and my Connect+Turntable. I’ve not noticed any cause+effect with the chosen source and stereo pair drops. My office has the router located in it, so the wifi signal is full strength. I have no other issues with my network or speakers.Any ideas why this is happening and how i resolve it please?
I recently purchased a pair of Sonos Era 300 speakers and paired them together in a stereo configuration. Shortly after setting them up, I began noticing intermittent popping noises during music playback. After doing some research, I came across this ongoing discussion and wanted to add my experience to the conversation. To provide some context: my speakers are brand new, fully paired, and running the latest firmware — so this doesn’t appear to be related to older hardware or outdated software.I have a great deal of respect for Sonos as a brand, which is why I chose to invest in the Era 300s. I understand that audio issues can be complex and difficult to resolve, and I appreciate the efforts made so far. That said, given how long this issue has been reported by the community, I’d like to respectfully ask for a transparent update on where things stand and what steps are being taken toward a permanent resolution.I’m hopeful that this can be addressed definitively — not just as a temporary
I upgraded my Internet speed all five, but then they send me a new router.I haven't been able to install my beam 2.I tied reset reinstall the appWhen it chines it says it doesn't recognise it.There is NO sticker on the back/ base they're never was.Purchased 2-3 ago from reputable dealer..I swapped back to old router,TV etc all fine just beam won't install.I spent hours going crazy and getting frustrated..I still have the box etc but they're was no code that they tell you to put in if Chinese won't work. I was probably an idiot uninstall the app as settings are grey with only add new speaker or join system.I tried with the router it used to work with but no says can't find beam on that IP.Anybody thoughts thanks Richard.
I’ve moved. How do I reconnect my Sonos One?
I sold my Sonos beam gen 1 and the new owner cannot activate it. I have performed a factory reset three times, but still not working.
I have had Sonos in one form or another for 15 years and have four groups in my home and shed. There are 6 alarms set to tune to particular radio stations. The instability of the alarms with recent updates is frustrating. Sometimes it will start on two separate rooms that are set up as one connection, so they have different connections and one seconds behind synchronous broadcasting. None of the alarms is stable enough to run for the allocated time, they might only run a few seconds, or a few minutes. If I go to my IOS app the system already shows it has stopped and the right arrow is ready to press. I have also had to go through trying to trace why some stations are disconnected from the stream and I get the horrible ding dong alarm sound. I wish there was a better option for that too. cheers John
My ERA 300 can't connect after the upgrade. I have tried rebooting the router, factory resetting the speakers, reinstalling the SONOS app, rebooting my mobile phone, turning off the mobile network on the phone, turning off private Wi-Fi addressing, etc. Can someone assist with resolving the issue?
How to lower down volume of 1 era speaker from stereo pair.
Pro-ject carbon turntable to am/fm tuner to 5? I’m trying to figure out this setup. i have two 5s, currently with a line in from the turntable. I’m worried adding a tuner into the mix will bring issues with turntable audio quality without an amplifier. I purchased an ADCOM GTP 400, and it needs an antenna to work getting local broadcast l, but when I tried to play a record, it sounded awful.I want to stream local baseball games from time to time, so I want to keep the budget reasonable, but absolutely open to investing in quality equipment and can return the Adcom if I need something different. Any advice from the community?
My Sonos beam 2nd gen. DOES NOT pair with my samsung android phone!
Is anyone having problems with the BBC Sounds and Sonos One SL speakers just keep stop playing. I have two older Sonos Play 1 and they are fine. I have had to reset the One SL speakers twice this week to even be able to see them on the App. But still won't keep playing.
My cafe relies on Google Calendar alerts for its daily tasks. How can I make the alarms sound off on my speakers?
I have an existing Sonos system with a play base and play:1s as rears in the living room and several play:1s throughout the house in different rooms.I am considering upgrading to the arc ultra, era300 rears and a sub 4 for the living room. Are there any issues using “one” sonos app to control the new arc ultra, era300 & sub 4 with the old play:1 speakers throughout the house? I understand they will work separately for movies, but will music work in all speakers for the entire house with one app?
Trying sonos play 1
Hi All,Overall, I can’t complain. Physical hardware construction and delivery of sound is amazing. When it Works….! When it doesn’t, for whatever reason… cause considerable grief…. Upgrades another story… ! To put the cards on the table, I chose Apple,…. once hooked they reel you in… I chose Sonos,… and have spent more then AUD $100K on Sonos…. No issue.. when it works… But when it doesn’t, well let me tell you… I’d put it all in a cardboard box and send it back…Kind regards, Matthew.
I have 2 speakers, one in the office, the other in the family room. The office speaker Works just fine, the family speaker is not detectable. I did the rest by unplugging from electrical but its still not detectable. Its plugged directly into the router.
Why won’t my Play:1 and Play:3 connect after a short power cut? I have factory reset both products and also reset the S2 app…all to no avail. I cannot reconnect the Play speakers and this has been over a week now, but somehow my Beam seems miraculously immune to any issues whatsoever and has remained constantly connected! You couldn’t make it up. Why is Sonos so clunky and difficult to use? Has anyone had a similar issue or maybe help with any advice?
I can't connect any Sonos gen 1 products to my new sky 5g hub … even though it says it's split into 5g and 2.4g
I have a SL speaker in my garage I want to run 24/7/365 but that never works. After a couple days the music stops, I go the app and tap play and away it goes again. Why does it just quit playing music?
Please see the images of our living room area, Era 300’s were placed on floor behind Sofa on floor stands, made room look untidy, cramped for space and cables etc Previously had Play 1’s mounted in bookcase on virtually empty shelves thes were less intrusive and better for general music, was persuaded to upgrade to Era 300’s whilst great for Atmos and movies, placement in middle of room is not great for music. Have played around with having them slightly higher and wall mounted and generally happy with sound. Just need some advice on best position to mount as rear left is in a corner and rear right slightly more open location. Aware Trueplay will deal with most of issues. Should I mount at 2m above floor leaving only 40 cm from top of speaker to ceiling so will need to mount upside down. Should they be flat against wall or angled in at approx 45 degrees?TV and Arc in process of being wall mounted, desk size reduced and Sofa moving back about 1/2M System Sub Gen 3Arc UltraEra 300 pair
Hello there!I need your advice on where to place my new Era 300 on the back of my couch. After some reading I would place them where the green “Xs” are on the picture. Please disregard the crazy red circles. They are both:- 1.5mt from the floor (about 5ft)- 1.2mt from the ceiling (4ft)- 2mt from each end of the couch (6.5ft)- 1mt back from the couch (3.2ft)What do you guys think?Cheers from Italy!
I have a play one that has been working on the Sonos S1 controller app. I recently took it on vacation and it looks like it somehow was updated so that now it will only play on the new Sonos App. Based upon the Help articles, it says that I can downgrade it back to the Sonos S1 controller app but I can’t seem to figure how to do that.
