my Sonos has become so glitchy. It is almost unusable. It goes in and out all the time. Sometimes I get three songs in a row with no problem sometimes I can’t get one song in a row with no problems sometimes certain connect amps sync up sometimes times they don’t I’ve reset routers. I’ve unplugged all the systems. I’ve been having this problem that keeps getting worse. I have six Sonos connect amps a Sonos move and two Sonos play bars. Please help me 

I got a new router. I’ve managed to set up my newer products (beam, sub etc) using the Sonos app and WiFi. However I just can’t get the play 5 gen 1 to connect. I’ve followed everything on the S1 app. Connecting over WiFi it stalls after “join Sonos network”. connecting with Ethernet cable it stalls on “hear the chime”. The play 5 chimes but the app doesn’t recognise it. it was working fine on my previous virgin wifi, but just can’t get it going on new Vodafone power hub. The hub output seems to be 2.4hz. please can anyone help? 

My Boost has recently died, forcing everything onto my home wi-fi (it seems my Move will share it’s Wi-Fi settings with the rest of the system).Before I realised my Boost was dead I have struggled for months with the Sonos system - every time I used it different speakers were missing and even the ones that did appear would rarely work correctly. Voice assistants have been awful. Now I learn that new Sonos products like the Era 100 and Era 300 don’t use SonosNet!Given the truly atrocious performance of my Sonos system on my home Wi-Fi I cannot believe that future Sonos products are not going to have the option to use SonosNet (mine was rock solid for over a decade - never any problems). Is it possible that Sonos are going to drop the use of SonosNet entirely? If so, I’m afraid they have lost me as a customer.

The app is on Iphone. Pretty sure it never used to do this.

… and yes I have reinstalled the whole system and yes it’s all on one wi-fi network.  It’s better than it was a year ago, but it still poops the bed regularly.  Is it going to get any better, or is this Sonos now?

No one seems able to help me with this on a Sunday, but I’m trying to migrate all my Sonos speakers from one WiFi network to another.   I’ve been on the Chat with several agents for hours.   Evert time starting the whole sorry tale over- Chat Bot to real person.  One agent told me to unplug the router.   Great! So the chat disconnects and start and I over yet again.   I live with both dyslexia and dyscalculia, but no alliance is made for this.   We are changing our broadband provider from Sky (due to cost and poor speeds) to Pkusnet (will be full fibre etc).  To take advantage of the speeds from day one, I have purchased a TO Deco mesh system (3 units)  I have the first plugged by Ethernet into the Sky (for now) router.    The new WiFi network works perfectly.   All WiFi tech is able to join (desktops, iPads, android and Apple phones etc).  Now comes the problem.  In the Sonos app I was able to get the Beam to join the new network and a SL in a different ro

Hi everyone, I have a Sonos Playbar that shows a solid white light immediately after plugging in the power (not flashing). Nothing else happens — it doesn’t boot or respond. I connected a JTAG interface and it only outputs “NAND Boot…”. It seems like the u-boot bootloader might be corrupted or not starting properly. Has anyone encountered this issue before or managed to recover a Playbar in this state?Would it be possible to reflash the u-boot using a programmer, and if so, what tools or procedure would be needed? Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

One of my era 300 is set up, it  works fine, the sound is ok, but the indicator light flashes very quickly (green and orange) randomly, also when this happens, it happens with a sound like a click when the color changes.

I have a play 1 upstairs and a play 1 downstairs. I've had them for years with no problem but then the downstairs one wouldn't update. I've went through all the help advice, reset the play 1, linked with cable and nothing is working. I've phoned sonos who are no help and said I need to phone virgin media. Has anyone had this problem and was able to sort it, thanks 😊 

I wanted to share my recent experience with the Era 300 and hopefully get some visibility from the Sonos team. My original Era 300 was purchased brand new, but it developed the common grill separation issue that many users have reported. Sonos support agreed to replace it, but I was surprised and honestly disappointed to learn that they were sending a certified refurbished unit as the replacement — even though my original unit was only a few months old and was a brand-new retail purchase. I tried to stay optimistic, but unfortunately the certified refurbished unit I received also arrived with a defect. The top/back grill is noticeably misaligned and does not sit flush with the housing. For a product labeled “certified refurbished,” this type of cosmetic flaw should not make it through quality inspection. So at this point, I’ve received two defective units in a row: my original brand-new Era 300 the certified refur

I have a speaker group in 3 rooms. I use AirPlay to send audio to the AirPlay-compatible speaker in one room (bedroom), and then have the other two rooms (living room and office) in the same group.  For some reason this group does not stay in place. Every time I play music, I see that Sonos has undone the group and I have to configure it again.   Is there a trick to getting the group to stay configured as such? And keep it permanently?

I have one speaker on one system. the other 2 are on another. I have one more speaker to connect and want all on one system I also had to change my wifi extender to one band instead of dual band. should I create a new wifi network for just the Sonos system?my goal is to make this all work seamlessly and have full use of the dual band extenders this is the message I get when I try to connect to the other 2 speakers 

I am totally fed up. I have thousands of dollars invested in this product and now on Thanksgiving day the entire system has disappeared. I opened the app and I get an error message saying it can’t find any products on the network so does this mean I have to set the entire thing up again? Honestly, I hate this product. It has been nothing but inconsistent and unstable sometimes it works perfectly sometimes it doesn’t . really Sonos get your act together. This is no way to treat loyal customers. Your products are buggy and don’t consistently work. I’m looking to bail out of your system as soon as I possibly can thank you for ruining my Thanksgiving

HiI have a play bar a sub a bridge a play3 and 5 play1 in various rooms.My problem is that often usually when we have a party , the system plays up like 1 speaker will drop off then 2 then the whole system will drop off then it comes back on its own then when we think it’s safe to start dancing again it will drop. The whole system is over 10 years old so I can only use S1 and the bridge firmware will not update. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have just brough some Kef Meta Q11 speakers to add to my lounge where only music and audio is played.  There is not TV in the room.  I already have the Martin Logan sub and wanted to get opinions on this set up and what I can do to maximize the sound quality.  Many thanks.

Hi all. Jist setting up my era 300s for first time. Firstly im taking my one sl's down so do i need to unpair these and if so how is best to do this please? Another question i have is there is the power cable and another hole for another cable to go in, what is this used for please and do i need to have a cable plugged into that one to make full use of the speakers? After merging homes with my fiance and getting the system set up I am unable to add (2) S Play1’s she previously had.  I use the S1 controller app and currently have the following set up: Main Play 5Play 3Play 1 Would like to add the (2) Play1’s.  I keep getting a message they are not compatible with the S1 controller.  Is there a workaround? Cheers

When I pause for about 10 seconds and hit play again, It says it cannot play this content and either restarts the song or skips to the next song in the queue. Also the scrubbing bar gets out of sync with the music. It will be near the end of a song and the bar will still be in the middle. I am on the latest app version and all of my speakers are on the latest firmware version.

I have a large open plan house so I use the Zones feature to create 2 virtual speakers “Upstairs” and “Downstairs”. Each zone consists of a combination of Ones, One SLs and a Five. Ironically the Five in the kitchen needs a volume boost compared to the One that is also in it - currently the sound is biased towards the One. The Zones feature has a volume trim feature to compensate for this situation. The trim adjusts the volume from -15dB to +3dB on a per speaker basis. The Five does seem to respond but a 3dB boost is not quite enough. I need to dip the One by a few dB but the trim control has no discernible effect on any of my Ones. Anyone else noticed this before I submit a bug report?

This has been requested in the past, but seems to have gone dead. I have an Arc Ultra, Sub Mini, and two Fives. I’d like to use the Fives for hifi audio and as additional front left / right channel speakers on the Ultra. Is this on the roadmap? Should I just return the Ultra or the Fives and wait to see if Sonos delivers what seems like fairly obvious functionality?

Is this normal for a beam gen2?, please do let me know!, i will opt for a replacement from the retailer I have purchased regardless. I’m Using a Virgin Media Hub 5 router - I can no longer split networks after a recent update, greyed out… lost connection to all my 7 speakers. Playbar and Sub work on TV only. I have a mesh network - I have split the networks on that, but still no luck connecting speakers. I have a boost - I tried connecting that, but it kept picking up another system. It might connects for a few mins, but will eventually say no system available. Help needed, thanks!

Hoping someone here can help because I’m at a loss.I have five Sonos speakers in my office: Two Era 100s One Sonos One One Sonos Move One Sonos Roam The Sonos One and Sonos Move were previously connected to other Wi-Fi networks, but the 2 Era 100s and Roam were brand-new when I opened my office. Ever since installing everything, I’ve been having constant connection issues. I’ve worked with both my IT installer and Sonos Support, but we still haven’t found a solution. Since it is a healthcare office we have 2 wifi’s - a main one & a guest wifi. I have tried disabling the guest wifi so there is no interference but it still happens.Here’s what’s happening: Every day, I have to reset every single Sonos speaker and reset the network just to get things back online. We have two Sonos from Ikea (SYMFONISK). These worked fine, but then the power went out and now it won’t connect. Last time this happened I reset and updated the firmware of the router and connected the Sonoses with ethernet cable to update the firmware on those too. The router update required that I changed the SSID of the network because it had illegal characters so I did that and had to reconfigure all my devices to the new SSID. This also made the Sonoses work. However, I don’t want to change the SSID of the whole network at home just so I can make the sonoses work…Here’s what I’ve tried: Factory reset both the Sonos and gone through the configuration setup again. It finds the Sonos and plays the chime and I write the SSID password, but then it says it can’t connect and that I should still find it in the app (which I don’t)  Resetting the app from settings  Reinstalling the app from App Store Connected on of the Sonos t
