Seen this posted a lot. Nothing recent. Using my old Sonos connect (S2 compatible). Just updated to an Era 100 in hopes it was just old hardware. Still cutting out. Diagnostic 1637704499. Thanks!

Hi, I just bought the Pro-Ject turntable and ERA 100 speaker. The black USB C cable was out of stock so I purchased one from Amazon. The system won’t connect the Line-In. I bought a second cable; still won’t connect. Sonos support told me that only their cable would work. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have two Sonos Play1 speakers and they have worked fine for over a year. Today they won’t group. I can play music through either one, I can play two different things through them simultaneously, but they will not play from the same source at the same time. I have held the play/pause button down and the music will start to play, but then the other speaker shuts off. Please help, this is quite frustrating.

I cannot figure out why my Sonos 1 is “unable to connect to Sonos”.  I had no problems connecting to Sonos before two days ago when spotify connectivity encountered a problem in the Sonos app.  My router and network have not changed, my router shows a great 2.4 ghz signal strength for my Sonos 1.   I tried resetting my Sonos 1 with initial connectivity but then I see “unable to connect to Sonos” error message with a blank screen on my app.  When I unplug and replug my Sonos 1 in my app finds it with internet connectivity, but then it losses it.  Would a VPN affect connectivity?  This has never been a problem in the past.  My router sends all of my internet communication through a VPN.  I even tried having my Sonos 1 be an exception routing it through my WAN without resolving this issue.Please help, thanks. 

10 year old system but plugged in a new router from by a few mo the ago and all sonos products lost.  Tried resetting and reinstall sonos- to no avsil Sometime sees is network to connect to, but doesn't work  Please advise as otherwise will need to get all new products 

I've got two sonos One set up as stereo in my lounge. I mostly listen to music and radio, at times watch movies on my TV. Would it be better idea to buy Sonos Beam Gen 2 to link with my 2x Sonos One’s. Or to buy Sonos Era 300.In other words would the Beam coupled with 2 One’s give me a better sound solution (especially for music) than just having the Era 300 (or Era 300 coupled with 2x One's in the lounge).And how would these two options compare in terms of Dolby Atmos. 

HiThis message says: A problem occourd when connecting Play:1(my Sonos speaker) to your account.I can log on to the Sonos app, but not my account to the speaker. Someone have a clue what this could be? 

Hi AllI have ordered a single Era 100 for my bedroom. I have many Sonos speakers already so hoping this new addition will be a good one.Has anyone else got just a single 100 and if so, how does it sound? I don’t have room for a pair so I’m hoping just the one will sound good 😁. 

I just setup my new Eros 300 and configured the Alexa skill.  My Alexa app says the Eros 300 speaker is not compatible with speaker groups.  Is anyone else having this problem?  Is there a workaround?

My Sonos play 5 2nd gen was working ok till we changed our router to shell energy, now it connects for 2 minutes then stops connection and blocks out the router to other devices around the home ?? I’ve got the new Sonos app and have reset router and Sonos speaker several times I’ve spoken to shell and changed channels from 11- to 6 with split 2.4 and 5g connections. Still a problem. Please help.!  🙏diagnostic no 987122246 

We have two IKEA symphonic loudspeakers in our house. We have managed to connect both to my wife’s account. But one of them is in my office, and therefore I would like to have this registered on my account. I understand from other topics that I should do a factory reset, and connect it to my account.But, after I do a reset and install the sonos app, I only have the ability to set up a new system. When finding and connecting to my speaker, and I would like to log into my account in my app, it seems like the speaker is still connected to my wife’s account and I can only log into her account in my app.Is this because we are on the same wifi or that the factory reset is not enough to remove it from her account?

why is the music not working when paired as surround speakers major flaw returning my sonos 300 speakers 

I have a Sonos Arc and Sub gen 3 which I've been using successfully for the past year or so.I also have a Beam gen 2 which is newly purchased and today I'm setting it up for the first time.I have moved house and want to set up my Beam with the Sub on a new network.The Beam is connected and working...however the Sub simply will not connect/join the network with the Beam.Ignore the Arc for now, as I am not using it currently.I have tried everything, turning both the Beam and Sub off/on. Turning the router off. Using Ethernet cables. Hard resetting the sub.The app has taken me through so many iterations of setup, but fails to connect.I believe it is something to do with the old network (different house/different Internet network) of Sub/Arc not allowing the Sub to leave and join the new network. As some times during my trying of setup today its showing the Arc and sub and asking what products I want on the new network. Obviously j choose

Hi, I recently purchased a brand new ikea symfonisk gen 2 lamp. It work great and play music for about 2 hours before it suddenly shut down. I tried plugging it back and the light still work, but the speaker doesn't. I've tried to factory reset it to no avail also. The led indicator on the lamp sometime blink when i plug the power back in but then nothing happen. Can anyone offer a solution or suggestion? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,We have a Beam G2 w/Symfonisks as rear surrounds. We were using them in our bedroom but moved them into our family room for the time being.We used to have another system in the family room. The soundbar was likely not fully reset and I couldn’t figure out how to remove it from my system so eventually I chose the “hide” option that came up just to get rid of it. The rear surrounds that were in there were correctly reset and removed from the app but a month or so later, they just showed up again.I’ve tried probably 20 times to change the name of our current system from Bedroom to Family Room. Every time I save it, it appears to work, and then a bit later, it’s showing up as bedroom again. The system was already TruePlay tuned again for the current space but I need to change the room it’s located in.Is there still a phantom system somewhere in the app? Do I need to entirely reset and remove everything? Do I need to delete my account an

Hello there,My parents gave me their Sonos Play:1, I am currently struggling to connect them on my phone as I have the following error : “Your mobile device couldn’t connect to your Play:1..”, My phone is right to the side of the Sonos and is Sonos is powered on. I try resetting the Sonos and reinstalling the app still not working.Any suggestions ?Thanks,Alex

Complete audio system stoped again unexpectedly again today. Of course it’s a Sonos update.  it’s 2023 shouldn’t the software updates simply limit new functionality until updated not break the whole system, it’s a little ridiculous.  I used to be proud of my Sonos system, the sound quality and speaker arrangement but these days it’s more of just a hassle - a very expensive hassle. Probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal if the software updates were smooth and it just updated like normal software - but instead of I get the same message, “An unexpected error occurred. Please try again late.” Wow thanks.  So not only does the software not work, the whole system is useless until the software does work and/or I go out of my way to trouble shoot some damn new feature that I probably don’t want. Frustrating. 1/5 do not recommend. </frustrated rant> 

I rebooted my router as part of routine system maintenance now internet and PC work but lost sonos speakers connection. It was working fine earlier. Help please!

Any tips on tuning this system?  Not thrilled with the sound quality.  To tinny and no real base to speak of. 

I just updated to version 15.2 and now I am unable to group any speakers. I can access them all and play music individually, but I cannot pair any together.
