I have several Sonos speakers. Due to my house being small but having ridiculously thick walls I have to use a TP link extender. My set up is as follows:- Speaker 1 to my Plusnet router via ethernet- Speaker 2 attached to the TPLink by ethernet- speaker 3 connected to TP Link by Wifi- Speaker 4 connected to Plusnet via Wifi I have some issues when switching from the TP Link wifi to the Plusnet wifi and sometimes I lose a device. Should I remove all ethernet connections or just keep one speaker attached to the Plusnet router?I have set the TP Link to be the same name and password as the Plusnet wifi but I still seem to have to switch from one to the other.
How do I play music from my Android phone on a Sonos Ray?.
I have question for you. Today I sat down to listen to music and immediately noticed that the speaker (Symfonisk Table Lamp gen-2) did not limit the bass at high volume. At first I thought "Oh wow, that's great, the sound is powerful now) but after a while the speaker turned off. I did it several times just to check. Above 70% volume the speaker restarts itself, as if some protection was activated. On the back the LED light glows orange for a moment.
Is a Sonos Sub Gen 1 in good condition for £300 second hand a good deal?
I setup a new router with a changed WiFi Id. I tried to update the network using Sonos 2 app but it couldn't find my speaker. I tried connecting the speaker directly to the router using ethernet and it still can't find the speaker. In the settings menu the System option is greyed out so I can't change the network settings manually! Why is sonos so bad at handling routine changes to the network!! How can I get my speaker connected?
If I pair 2 Sonos Moves into stereo, can I group that pairing with another Sonos (mono) speaker outdoors so that all three play at once, with 2 of them in stereo and the third not?
Good evening! I bought the Sonos Ray for my TV today. I've never bought a soundbar before and I didn't exactly know the difference between eARC and the optical connection that my Ray has. I connected it all properly, so I tried to play a movie from Amazon Prime and the problems appeared. Anything with Dolby Atmos would stutter and I could only hear intermittent sound. Anything else without this didn't have such an issue. Is there a solution for this?
We were gone from Sept 1-22 and when we returned, all our Play Ones require us to turn the volume from the normal 30-40 to 60 or higher just to hear people talking. What happened while we were gone? Why the change? We are running the app on iPhones app version 15.8.1 and Sonos OS version S2.
Hi Sonos community! In the middle of my renovation project it is now time for the wiring, thus making it neccesary to finish my plan for the Sonos audio set-up. Mainly because I prefer to use wall mounts. My living room and kitchen/dining are semi-open connected. It is divided with sliding (ensuite) doors which are open for about 99% op the time but are flanked with big cabinets. For the living room I am quite sure I will be going for an Arc (blue), Sub gen3 (red) and twe Era 300's (green). The sub will probably be placed in an open cabinet because this cabinet will be a part of still to be designed cinematic wall. I love watching movies and listen to music all the time. Especially while cooking I really would like to have decent sound including the lower frequencies. The missing puzzle is regarding the kitchen and dining room as to what is the best extention of the living room. Standing behind the cooking island, will I still have a good bass coming from the Sub while playing multi-roo
There has been an ongoing construction in my house and the dust was so bad. I noticed my Era100 started showing this pattern inside and it concerns me. I think it might be dust build up. Anyone else has the same issue? How do i clean it up…?
I’m thinking about purchasing a pair of Era 100 as surrounds to operate alongside a Beam gen2 and Sub gen3.My current WiFi settings for all Sonos HT products are all fixed and working well on a 2.4ghz frequency. Will the Era 100’s communicate ok on same 2.4ghz frequency as some info suggest that surrounds need to use 5ghz.I’m using a BT Smart Hub2, Devices linked are LGC2 TV and Sky Q box.
Hello,I've just changed operator (as I do every year) and I can't connect my play one to my bbox.I've separated the networks, switched to b/g but nothing works. However, this isn't the first time I've been with Bouygues.Do you have a solution?
How come this app on android has no night mode schedule. No Audio tuning on like ios device for android.Sadly didnt knew how garbage the support app is before buying this and its beyond me how they cant simple options which are available on cheap smart switches.
Get wifi through the local cable provider.Suddenly I’m receiving obnoxious ads from my electric company on my SONOS speaker for their wifi!!!Is that even LEGAL?
My Eras 100 is working well, also as direct windows bluetooth device. Hovewer it makes a very loud connect / disconnect sound whenever its gaining or losing connection and we are disturbed by this in the entire house. It seems to happen randomly but is probably as I move the laptop around in the house. It would be nice to be able to disable this acknowledge sound and just rely on the blue/white light.
Dear Sonos,First of all let me share some brief.I’m implementing Sonos system, Sonos port = 5 unit and Sonos AMP = 1 unit. Site network is using all managed switch mixed brand Aruba, HP and Zyxel. Using subnet /23 for 508 IP address. Using default vlan, just vlan 1 only, no trunk port uplink just access port. 2 rooms are install Sonos with different managed switch. All switch have no STP classic only have RSTP and MSTP If 1st room 5 Sonos port are connected with wired to managed switch and config RSTP seems working fine while another switch STP is disabled. My problem is.If turn on the 2nd room 1 Sonos AMP connected to managed switch with RSTP configured then whole network latency quite unstable and all Sonos seems unstable as well. I’ve adjust bridge priority that 1st room switch is root and 2nd room is bridge following STP concept but not help. Did IGMP snooping enabled not help.My Questions is.As mentioned above I did RSTP configure only 2 managed switch that all Sonos connected, In
Hi - I am flying internationally later this week and want to take my One SL speaker. The airline states no product with a lithium battery over the following dimensions can be taken - 100 Watt hours or 2g lithium. Does anyone know the specs for the One SL battery? Thanks
Not sure where to begin. Moved recently to Mexico, but am armed services so have had my system work in many countries. 2 Moves, 4 Ones, 1 Five and 2 Threes. I ethernet wired a speaker to the modem/router (and this speaker I can’t connect for some reason). In the last few weeks, my system has been a constant maddening nightmare: every day a speaker or two drops, rejoining them takes multiple tries to connect, trying to connect a speaker a few feet from the modem says it can’t be found, etc. Not sure if it is relevant but have a few extenders throughout quarters and the signal is good throughout. On my S2 phone app, the system drops frequently. On my desktop app, the system can’t be found. I have one network. Not sure if this is relevant either but I originally set up the system my first day and since then had the modem replaced, although it has worked at times with this new modem. Do you good people recommend erasing the whole system and starting again? Not even sure how to do that. Or
My Sonos play 5 has been updating for a long period.
Hey everyone,I hope you're all having a great day. I'm reaching out to the community because I've been facing some frustrating audio latency issues when using my Sonos speakers with my gaming PC, and I could really use some guidance to resolve this problem. Here's a bit of background: I recently decided to upgrade my gaming setup with some Sonos speakers to enjoy a more immersive audio experience while gaming. However, I've noticed that there's a noticeable delay between the audio coming from my PC and the sound coming from the Sonos speakers. This latency issue is making it difficult to fully immerse myself in the gaming experience, especially in fast-paced games.I've tried a few things to troubleshoot the issue, such as: Checking Audio Drivers: I made sure that all my audio drivers on my PC are up to date, including the drivers for the Sonos speakers themselves. Changing Audio Settings: I've experimented with different audio settings in both Windows and my games, but the delay persi
the sonos one (gen 2) is compatible with era 300 playbase are possible connect all together?
Hello - I’m facing a very odd issue. I have 2 One SLs on the Sanus stand connected to beam and sub mini. One of the SL speaker is vibrating on specific high bass sounds. The thing is that the vibration is coming when the stand is on the floor. If I hold the stand in the air, the vibration doesn’t come on the same bass sound. Any help to resolve this would be appreciated.
How can I use two Era 100 speakers in two separate rooms (kitchen and family room) together but without stereo pairing ?
I recently updated my wifi router and went to connect my Play 3 and two Play 1’s to it. However, my Sonos app is only picking up my Play 3 and one of the Play 1’s, its just not picking up the other Play 1 at all. Ive tried the ‘find Sonos products’ in the app several times and no luck. I considered doing a factory reset, however the instructions advise against this for troubleshooting purposes. Any ideas?
I recently set up a Yamaha record player to play through a port and paired Era 100s.when streaming from Spotify the bass reproduction is reasonable however when I play any records there is a complete lack of bass. other than attaching a sub is there something I am missing?
