The sound keeps cutting out intermittently on my Sonos 1 speakers. It’s happening in two different rooms.  I have a strong wifi connection

Which speakers? Sonos has made a PLAY:1 and a Sonos One, but no 1 speakers yet.

Usually, speakers cutting out is one of two things, either some sort of wifi interference or a duplicate IP address issue. To fix the latter, unplug all your Sonos devices from power, then reboot your router. Give the router a couple of minutes to come back up before plugging back in your Sonos devices. Note that duplicate IP addresses can occur on both wired and unwired systems, and has no respect for the strength of the WiFi signal.

Thanks.  I’ll give the reboot a try.

If that doesn’t work, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.
