I have a Sonos soundbar on my Panasonic smart tv plus a pair of 1speakers(I think!) in the same room and a pair in a second room.I want to add a soundbar plus speakers to a second tv in a different room. Can I do this via my existing system or does it have to be separate?Apologies for the rather dumb question but I’m totally clueless about anything tech.Regards and thanks in advance
I only use computer to control the S1 speaker and now it tells me that it connects to the speaker but the dialog box stays saying it doesn’t connect to my speaker. I click under more options and choose connect to existing system and it tells me it connects. But I can’t get past this dialog box.
Hey everyone, my current set up is an Era 100 with an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM connected with a line in (3.5 mm cord) from the turntable to the Sonos adapter into the speaker. Sound is good, but I am only getting mono sound (right side). I am not getting stereo sound. What would I be doing wrong? Can I go line in (3.5mm cable) from the turn table right into the Sonos adapter? Or are there other cables I should be using to split the left & right, then bring them back together in the 3.5mm jack the Sonos needs? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I have a Beam (gen 1) and two play:1’s running on S2. I have acquired a connect (gen 1), which obviously only works on S1. The reason I got a connect is to integrate a vinyl player into the system. I was mis sold the connect on eBay by someone claiming it was S2 compatible, but alas upon receiving it, it is the older generation. My question is; I know I can operate two separate systems on the same network, but can I split the same speakers across the two systems? For example; run the beam and play 1’s on s2 as my home theatre set up, but then use the same pair of play 1’s with the connect on s1, as speakers for the vinyl?thanks
How can I connect two phones to my sonos speakers?
I upgraded my eero system to an eero 6 mesh system that I need to use to get music through my old, brick building. I have 9 Sonos speakers 7 are all playing one thing, 2 won’t play - or if they play it shuts the others off. They all used to work together - now they do not.Suggestions? I’ve tried everything!
Sometimes I get the Sonos chime instead of the Spotify playlist that I’ve scheduled with the alarm. How do I fix this?
I am continuing to have issues with my Playbar, which is part of a surround system with 2 Play:1s. I previously had a google mesh network and changed it to Eero thinking it would get better, it didn’t. I thought the issue might be it trying to play across multiple rooms, but it’s cutting out while only playing in one room. I’ve previously disconnected the surrounds, which work fine on their own, but the Playbar will still skip on its own in this room. I moved the Playbar to a different room of my house and didn’t hear skipping, but that could just be because it’s intermittent. This wasn’t a great test because I do remember this specific Playbar skipping when I had it hooked up in another room about a year ago.None of this makes sense since the Playbar has a perfect internet connection and all other speakers in the house have no issues. It’s also only a 1400 sq ft house with three mesh WiFi hubs (one for each floor). At this point, is it possible I just have a bad Playbar? I can see the
I read many threads on here about issues when various Sonos groups/speakers are played simultaneously. Everyone always says “it’s the network.” I had an older google mesh system putting out 100mb DL speeds and 10mb UL with a latency of about 25. Alas, because I listened to the people here, I bought a WiFi 6 eero mesh network thinking the community knew something I did not. The internet speeds went up to 250mb dl/10UL and 21 latency. But the problem didn’t go away. None of my other devices in the house have any glitching issues. I can stream UHD TV with no stuttering, but somehow my Playbar and two play:1s surrounds can’t keep a music signal going. I am at a loss and have spent so much money and time trying to fix this. I know people say to try unplugging the the Playbar, but yesterday the power in my house went out so all the Sonos devices automatically restarted. What could possibly be left?
We’d been noticing for a few months that we’d go to use our Dinis speakers and on our app on either phone… some features were greyed out meaning Dinis would nt work. This was intermittent though. Then we got a new bt router and we can’t connect up the play 5 or 1…it gets as far as asking for password after it’s done tge chime but then no matter if I put in my wireless password /key or the admin password for hub manager or my sonos password … none will work and it just says can’t connect I know classed as old now but it seems to be crazy to have to replace these as when working sound great! can anyone help please?
I can’t seem to get a simple answer from Customer service in my allotted time to speak to them. (Lunch break) I just received both the above ordered as a bundle. Came with a sweet RCA cable and no way to connect to the 5! I think it should be a Y connector of sorts. Any recs? (Why did they not suggest one as an add on for a 998 dollar purchase is beyond me!!)thanks!!
I have the newest version of the Beam, the sub mini and 2 era 100’s. Is it worth it to add 2 era 300’s?
Is it worth it to add a sub mini to a stereo pair of Sonos 5’s?
Hi - to make this complex question simple to read I am being direct with my dilemma.I have two priorities.the best hifi sound I can get for the money enhanced tv/moviesAverage size room 55” LG C1 tv (terrible sound) Bluetooth Surround Ready Simplink (HDMI CEC) Currently have a traditional stereo component system I want to get rid of, Nothing great Turntable music importantAfter countless hours of Sonos research but never having heard anything in person, I am pondering the following options:two Era 300s - the comments I’ve read make me wonder if these would suffice without a soundbar. Beam 2 AND sub mini AND two Era 100s - Since the 100s are not dolby atmos would the soundbar give me all the enhanced tv sound I might like? Beam 2 AND two Era 300s - Do the Era 300s make the soundbar redundant?Your thoughts are very much appreciated.-Will
I currently have a Playbar, a Gen 2 Sub and two Play 1’s. I want to add speakers to my front and back porch and Sonos speakers are over 1500.00 EACH SET to do this. That’s over my budget so I’ve read that I might need a Connect or something similar to hook a Bluetooth transmitter to that so I can then connect Bluetooth speakers to them. Is this something that will work and does this sound like a good Audio plan?
Hi folks,So I recently got 2 Sonos 5s (3rd gen) and I am using them as stereo pair, both are updated to the latest software version (15.10 (build 76247142)). I mainly AirPlay from my iPhone and Apple Music into them and am also using the Apple Music app for playing music, volume control etc. The problem is when I am playing a playlist of songs, sometimes when I hit next to play the next song, my Sonos system plays a few seconds of the previously playing song (probably from its internal buffer) instead of the next song. If I wait a few seconds it starts playing the correct song though. This is a random behavior and it’s not happening every single time but I can easily reproduce it. I am not really sure if this is an AirPlay bug or it’s just Sonos but I am leaning towards Sonos. Any ideas why it’s happening and how to fix it maybe?
Sonos 1 with sonos2 but won't update to the latest sonos 2 will not downgrade to sonos 1 either. Tried both wifi and ethernet cable
cannot find mac address for symfonisk
I have the newer Sonos amp, hooked up to reconditioned celestial ditton 33s. Use them for music. love the sound, but I want the bottom end a bit lower. I like heavy dub. which sub would people recommend?thanks
I have first generation play five speakers that I’ve paired and every day either the left or the right will drop off anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute and then cut back on again
As in the subject line. Can this be done successfully please?
Hi, I have an arc, sub, and 2 x era 300 as surrounds. Been working perfectly until I noticed one of the era 300’s had dropped out. It then re-connected on its own but no sound was coming from it despite it saying it was connected. So I then did a hard reset, and now it will not re-connect. It won’t even do the chimes to connect (pin) it is like it tries but then fades out, any ideas, my gut tells me it is faulty?
My new Sonos Ray won't start and only flashes white. This is my first Sonos device. A reset is ignored by the device and it just keeps flashing white. Does anyone have any ideas for a solution before I send the device back? Greetings from a sad Ray owner
Hey I have 2 Sonos One (and really enjoy it) But the room as a weird space, and I’m thinking to add a third one. Is it possible ? Can I had a Sonos One SL to my 2 Sonos One ? (or does it have to be a Sonos One ?)
I use a Sonos speaker in conjunction with Spotify and Alexa. However, some music tracks have a much lower volume level than others so I am constantly having to increase and reduce the level for each track. Some Christmas carols seem to suffer from this in particular although other tracks have the same problem. Is there any way of overcoming this please?
