I LOVE ALL GENRE2 QUESTIONS:I HAVE APPLE DEVICES CAN I HAVE THE SONOS APP ON ALL OF THEM TO ACCESS MY MUSICHOW TO GET BETTER SOUND WITH MY 3 DEVICES IT SOUND MUFFLED Moderator Edit: Swapped Title with context of thread.
Hi, my father in law bought an IKEA Symfonisk gen2. After the installation in the S2 app the sonos app does not show the system. I’ve tried both wireless as well as wired and also rebooted the network router without success. After that I took the device to my home and added the device to my existing sonos system. Then the device appears in the app. So the device seems to be ok. After that I did a reset of the device and let my father in law install the device as a new device within his account (but with the device within my local network). After the installation the same issue is present, I.e. the device does not appear in the sonos S2 app. This appears to me that the issue appears when the symfonisk is added as a first device. does anyone have an idea what can be done to fix the issue? Or is it a bug in the S2 app?
I have 3 sonos play 1s. Since the new app update recently sonos cant find my system every time i restart. I have done a factory reset about 10 times and it still doesnt work. I have a samsung s23 and my wife has a iPhone 14. Yesterday i factory reset all 3 twice and now it wont even find the system at all. So annoying and frustrating. I am reading lots of reddit posts and on this community about the issue but Sonos does not seem to be doing anything about it.
Over the last 4-5 days, speakers have randomly been resetting the volume to 0, causing the green light to display on the speaker. In over a decade of using sonos, I have never seen this. Has anyone else seen this? I’m wondering whether it’s to do with the new app given the number of bugs present?
Hello, I and my girlfriend just bought 2 new sonos arc units for our apartments. We both have the same issue, can not start our arcs since we can not complete the upgrade step. Error code 1.101. We tried every possible option still no output for both of us. Anybody else experienced the same problem. It is a big disappointment that we can not run them.
In recent updates on app my sonos is now showing as 3 speakers in 1 system and 2 speakers in a 2nd system. I want to get all 5 speakers back under 1 system. How do I do that?
OK I live in NZ and enjoy 240V AC. On Friday night a fault on the power supply to my house led to a a massive power surge and a voltage drop to 160V, as the neutral melted off the connector in the post outside and the earth wire delivered voltage in my house. Most things that were plugged and powered on were fried - including (I think) my Sonos system)These included 2 x Play5, 2xPlay3, ZonePlayer, Soundbar, 1xPlayOne. None of these have any lights on under the 240V AC that has now been restored and a factory reset also failed to generate any signs of life. Three orher components a Play:One, Sub, and Move had lights and I was able to reset and rejoin to restored network. However why I tried to play music, odd things happened - tracks stopping and starting, playing without vocals???? until finally the Move and Play:One would play no more. I have yet tested the sub - because I thought it should be tested as part of a full system. So my question is: Just how cooked are my components. Is
Over the last few weeks I have been experiencing speaker drops outs. I have a small system Lounge - Arc, 2 x 3’s in home cinema mode and recently I added a sub mini but the problem was happening before this was added In the nest room adjacent I have a singel Era 300In the bedroom I have a Play One, but am ignoring that as it rarely gets played I often group together the ERA300 with the Arc, 2x 3s and Mini Sub especially when I am working early in the morning. I first noticed this on my Arc when watching TVThe sound would go very quiet. Not fully off but a noticable drop in volumen. It would last maybe 5 seconds and then come back. When playing music through the grouped speakers, today, I noticed that the ERA300 would drop off completely. Then come back after maybe 10 seconds. It did this a few times. Then on one occassion it went fully and did not come back.I use the desktop app on my Windows PC and checked and both rooms were ticked. So I unticked the ERA and re-ticked it and it came
So...yes, the new app is utterly worthless and needs to be recalled, but in the meantime… When I’m listening to music (or trying to), the voume is very low and all my speakers sound like they have been blown. The is no power, no “push”. Bass drum sounds like a wet slap inside the cabinet. Any insight?
Can we turn off the green light on the Era 100? It’s in my bedroom and I’d like the light to be turned off when we sleep. Thank you!!
I am ready to throw these speakers against a wall!! I cannot possibly be having to reset my internet, all the apps, and all the speakers every single flipping day!! why the hell do they disconnect on their own?? Why do I keep having to reset and update the network and do the whole thing over and over???
What does green light on speakers mean
Plus capable de jumelé mes deux enceintes ?Comment puis-je corriger ce problème ? Moderator Edit: Google Translate- No longer able to pair my two speakers? How can I correct this problem?
My internet was done earlier today but is now back up. I cannot get my 3 Sonos speakers to operate?
Qty 2 Era 100s -paired/stereo - Just finished the latest update as usual Had to configure again. I have done this so often in the 7 months of ownership that I can do it pretty fast. This time through Bluetooth or as I call it Bootooth. All working as before except the balance option is still gone. This was lost after the big update. Anyone know how to get the balance back?
I have a play1 speaker. I need to add it to a new Wifi network. After a bunch of failed attempts, I finally got a factory reset done, and was able to add it back to my controller using an Ethernet cable. It took some updates. I then tried to use the workflow in the app to move it to Wifi, but the workflow fails (pop up says that workflow only works for certain products, and Play1 is not one of them) saying that it can’t find any products.I then re-did factory reset, and app found the speaker and got through most of setup. After adding to Wifi, app says that speaker was added, but may not show up in controller app. If not, restart speaker. I did this, and it does not show up.I tried to join existing system, and the speaker shows up, but shows up as ‘not registered’. Trying to register fails with Error code 1064. Then ‘couldnt update play1’ error code 1106.
I recently updated the app, as well as all of my software for the speakers in my house. Ever since then, my speakers will randomly reset the volume to 0 multiple times throughout the day, which then causes them to display a green light on top of the speaker. Is this happening to anyone else? Super annoying, especially in the middle of the night when the white noise in my kids room turns off and wakes them up. Need this fixed asap.
I have brought a SONO Speaker, and tried to connect it with my Macbook, but the details and speaker is from my neighbour who has the same speaker and uses the same wifi.Is it possible to have 2 speakers on the same WIFI? if so how can i create own account on my laptopAlso when i tried to register on the mobile app it keeps coming up with error 1.105can’t find deviceThanks
After increasing connectivity issues between the app and speakers, I was going to try and switch from SonosNet to WiFi. However, whilst the online help suggests this is easy to do (go into the app and Update Network), once in the app, looking at the “more information” sections suggests that this can only be done for newer products. I have a number of Play:1 and Play:3 speakers and the information says these need to be factory reset.Questions:Is this true? Can I only update the newer products automatically? If I do have to factory reset the older products, will playlists etc. have been retained on the newer speakers and get copied across, or is there a risk I will lose my playlists and settings.Any help on this appreciated.
I can't connect my play 1 speakers - they flash green, app tells me I must upgrade software, but follow all instructions, error code 1014.
I have a Playbar, Play 3 and just purchased a Move 2. Play bar works great. For the life of me I can not get the Play 3 or Move 2 to connect to my WiFi ( the same Wi-Fi the play bar is on). I have tried everything! Unplugged the speakers, rebooted my router, reset the speakers, deleted and reinstalled the App, tried starting a new system, called Sonos (didn’t have 2 hours to wait on hold), yelled, screamed, did some deep breathing and nothing helped! at one point, the Play 3 did work, and then it didn’t, just like that! Any suggestions? Thank you!
Trying to add an old Play 1. Sonos app. recognizes it, says it requires an update but update doesn’t complete. Loading wheel seems to be progressing, but it should have been completed long ago,
I have been facing this annyoying issue where sonos app shows no product found (as shown in screenshot below). I have a sonos amp (kef q150) setup with sub and sonos ones as surround. This has happened 3 times in last 1 month. Every time I have to reset all devices and redo the setup in sonos app. Anyone aware of any solution for this? things i have trieddisconnecting and reconnecting amp disconnecting and reconnecting wifi routerDont know if this is new app but its getting so annoying !
Despite all the bugs and missing features in the new app, the one positive so far is a stable eARC connection to my Samsung Qled TV. Prior to the update, everytime I turned my TV back on I would have to manually reconnect to eARC in the TV audio settings. Now it connects automatically as it should. Did anyone else notice this? Thanks in advance.
