I have a Sonos one but the app can no longer detect it. Purchased a roam in the summer and can connect to this. Seems I had a ‘gold’ app now converted back to a ‘black’ one - I’m very confused. Don’t really want separate apps for each Sonos device. can anyone offer any advice? 

Currently have an Arc with a pair of Symfonisk bookshelf speakers as surrounds. Now with the Arc Ultra out, I'm need help deciding what to upgrade.Do I upgrade the Arc to the Arc Ultra and keep the Symfonisks as surrounds?Or do I upgrade the Symfonisk speakers to Era 300s, and keep the Arc?It's about the same amount of money. I listen to quite a bit of music with this setup (other Sonos speakers throughout the home). I'm not sure if I consume Atmos content, not sure my TV can pass it through the arc channel.What would you do?

Morning allI’m not sure if this is an extreme use case, but please hear me out: I have a turntable and streamer+DAC combination connected to a headphone/pre-amp analog-in, which in turn has analog outputs to a Sonos Port. This is fine for listening to either digital or analog sourced music through my Sonos speakers, wherever they may be.However, I also have a set of passive speakers connected to monobloc amps (1 amp per speaker, L&R) and I was wondering if I connected my monobloc’s to a Sonos Port (potentially one Port for each monobloc), could I in theory send an audio signal from the Sonos Port connected to my headphone/pre-amp, wirelessly to the Port’s connected to the monobloc’s, these Port’s acting as a preamplifier to the monobloc’s, thereby allowing my passive speakers to effectively be active speakers, but of somewhat higher quality than a Sonos smart speaker?I am of course presuming that the music signal is at least CD quality/lossless and not compressed and that the Sonos

I have set the home theatre with SONOS ARC+SUB gen 3+ two ERA 100 rear surround speakers.ARC is hooked up by ethernet cable, the rest wirelessThe proble is the surround speakers has the tendency to oscillate the sound during sound changes or frames changing during film reproductionHave any one experienced this problem ? and is possible to correct it?regards

I’m setting up a Play 1 on a brand new network using the Sonos 2 app.  All of the steps seem to complete (chime, joining the temporary network, etc) then the “finalizing connection” screen appears with the bouncing dots.  I’ve waited 20+ minutes and nothing has changed.  Do I start over?  what’s the hangup?

Hi all, I added a new ROAM 2 to my system last week and cant use Alexa voice control. I can use the sonos voice control, however  when I try and add Amazon Alexa I get the signing into Amazon then repeatedly get try again at he bottom of the app! My Beam, and the 4 other SONOS speaker work fine with alexa. Any ideas ?

For my home theater centered on a Beam, I recently ditched my Play 3s to go to a set of in-ceiling 8” Sonos Architecturual speakers with a Sonos Amp. I have everything connect correctly but the surrounds are not nearly as strong as before. Any advice?

I already own the gen 1 beam and 1st gen play one currently been used as a surround sound setup….my question is if I bought a pair of era 100 could I add these to the existing setup so essentially having 5 speakers as a surround sound..The reason I would like to add these era is to connect my Bluetooth turntable which I know would only connect to the 2 era’s, or would I have to just replace the ones with the eras if so would this work as surround sound when needed the connect to the turntable when needed…thanks

How can I add my partners Apple and Amazon playlists to my Sonos account

Hi, I just bought the Sonos multiroom speakers Five and Era300. I am having issues with the connection. The setup worked fine, I was able to connect both speakers and initially the music is running in both rooms, but then sometimes one room will lose contact and just stop playing the music. And without me doing anything it will start playing again, going on and off... it's so annoying.Also, there is a latence in how quickly the system reacts to f.ex. me regulating the volume through my mobile, or pausing the music etc.My husband has a One Plus mobile, he isn't experiencing the same issues, it runs smoothly on his phone. Is there anything I can do? Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

HiI currently have a Sonos Arc and sub gen 3, soon I will be getting an ultra to pair with my gen 3 sub.My question is do I need to reset the gen 3 sub, or is it fine just removing the sub from my Sonos Arc in the app and then resetting the Sonos Arc?Just not sure if the gen 3 requires a full reset to pair with my new arc ultra?Thank you

I have Sonos S2 Desktop App for Windows 80.1 55014 installed, Apparently, 81.1 was introduced on Oct 29th. Sonos now will not let me update my local music library without first updating to the new software. The option to “Update Music Library Now” is simply greyed out (and so are other options such as “Music Library Settings”). This was always an issue as when I updated from 79.1 to 80.1 (which then precipitated the Error 913 problem).I spent ½ hour with Sonos Help Desk and the answer is too bad, you have no choice!Now at least with the Mobile App there is the choice not to download automatic updateSo questions:Does anyone know if you can update library without updating firmware? Does anyone have issues with the new firmware?Thanks 

I’m hoping someone can help!I have just purchased the new Sonos ARC Ultra (Previously had the Ray). It works perfectly when i connect spotify, the sound is great.The issue I have, is that when i turn my Sky Q on, it disconnects the sound from the Sonos Arc to use the TV Speaker (Samsung). The setting dissapears to use the HDMI ARC function so i’m unable to change. Very frustrating and i have tried multiple troubleshooting options but still no luck! It worked fine with the Ray Any help, would be much appreciated! I’m tempted to return my new Arc Ultra...

Our Sonos beam has been working fine,  we added some usb lights and it seems to stop it working. Anyone else had this.

I'm just looking for some suggestions for a cost effective upgrade on my living room/media set up. At the moment I have a Playbar, Sub V2 and two Play:1s for surround. I've managed to find an original Arc discounted to about £575 which seems good value. Would there be a better suggestion to start upgrading the system above? Which components should I prioritise for most noticeable benefit? Thanks in advance.

I have a Samsung qn90a with an arc and subg3. I am using plex on a Roku ultra and only getting stereo from my setup. The arc is plugged in to the earc hdmi on the tv, tv audio is set to pass through. How can I get any multi channel audio and atmos to come through. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you

Hi, I have a number of Sonos Playbars (5) around the house, several Connect Amps and 1 Sonos Arc but because the Connect Amps are hardly used, I turn the power off to them, especially overnight, but because of this, I’m worried these devices (which aren’t left on all the time, especially the Connect Amps) aren’t being updated with the latest Sonos updates.  So, in short, how can I determine if each of my Sonos devices has the latest updates, or otherwise?

My Roam stopped working.  I can’t even reset it by holding the power button.  I’m not quite ready to give up trying to get it to work, but I’ve tried everything!  Any suggestions?  It’s plugged in with a solid orange light.

Before the last update, i used to set surround distance even if trueplay was on.Now since thé last update , set the distance has no effect on surround distance with trueplay onVery annoying, and i'm not the only one who complaints ( sée reddit community)

Hi, As the title says, my six speakers seem to be playing a different volumes. Some play loud, some play very quiet. Is there a way for me to set them all or to individually adjust the volumes of each speaker? Or perhaps was there something wrong I did during installation? To give context, I have the 6.1 mag system set up across my backyard which runs about 50 ft across. With the connecting sub in the center of that 50 ft.

I am unable to make a playlist !I have made them in the past but now there does not seem to be a way to make them anyone else having this problem !

This might sound crazy but I’ve tested it many times. I have a Sonos One in my bedroom and like to play “music for sleeping” or sounds like wind or rain when I sleep. When I get up during the night, the speaker stops playing and the white light flashes for a bit as the speaker must be restarting. Then I have to ask Alexa to play the music to restart. If I roll over in bed, same thing happens. It’s as if it has a camera and is watching me.  This started about a month or two ago.I have a Sonos sound bar in my living room and I have never experienced this issue there. I have a puppy and have left him crated, with sleep music on, and it is still on when I return home.I do not believe the speaker does this if I play normal music. It only seems to happen when I want sleep sounds. And always cuts out when I sit up in bed or roll over, unless I do it very slowly and quietly. 

Newbie to Sonos.  Before connecting my new Sonos system to the TV  I have set up the ARC soundbar, connected two One SL speakers as surround and the mini sub.  They are operating as one unit playing music for now. I plan on connect the system to my Samsung OLED tv.  I also utilize a Fire TV Cube that manages the entire setup.  My question’s this.  The Sonos soundbar will be connected to the tv via EARC.  Typically, the Fire TV Cube has an extensive setup procedure to manage all devices.  Is there anything else I have to do on the Sonos side to ensure a successful connection before I run the Fire TV Cube setup?

Hello all, I have a small apartment. I purchased a pair of Era 100s, a Beam Gen2, and a mini sub. I want to use this in three configurations1. Beam only for TV watching2. Era100’s+Sub only for music and line-in3. Beam+Era100s+Sub mini for movie night. I cannot find a way to do this and was told locally it’s not possible without setting up for movie night (3.) when the time comes then re-building things back to separate again via app for config (1.) and (2.)  A lengthy un-elegant process. Seams a simple grouping preset scheme in the app could solve this issue. Is this really not possible or a feature request?
