Hi I just bought 2 sonos era 300 to pair with my sonos arc as rear surround speakers. I am taking a picture from the POV of my TV. My wife preferably wants to wall mount the speakers. Would blue or red be better? How far away from the couch should the speakers be and how high should they be? Thanks!

Hi All I’ve got multiple Sonos products and they have a nasty habit of dropping connection randomly. My network is an Orbi Mesh network (RBR350 with 2x RBS350’s), I’ve manually assigned and reserved IP addresses to the three sonos speakers I own. The Ray is connected via Ethernet to one of the satellites but the play:3 and the sonos one are connected via wifi. These all have been re-named on the network to ensure there are no name conflicts.  All three will randomly drop from the network. I’ve rebooted the network, reset the sonos speakers, updated everything, done the rejoin the system one at a time and ensured that everything has different addresses. Nothing else on the network drops connection (Mobile phones, laptops, pc’s, chromecasts, apple TV’s, game consoles, etc) just the sonos speakers. Usually when attempting to play “everywhere” after about 10-15 minutes. Sometimes they play fine for hours but will stop unexpectedly with the flashing white light and checking the app requires

Scanning my Music Library in some cases I get wromg song titles.I checked the mp3 tags (ID3v1.1  and ID3v2.x) and titles are shown correct.It’s possible that the tag titles at one time were wrong bur this should be corrected.How do I get Sonos to show the correct song titles?I tried to delete the troublesome files, uninstall Sonos app, remove the Music Library and rescan it.Nothing helps

I sent this to the Sonos CEO email, as this seems to be the only support option available. My main point is to find a solution on the bad situation I find myself in, with the non-functioning new app.Anyone else, if not the CEO, is welcome to give their suggestions and comments, that may help me on the way. I’ve been holding on to my Playbase since 2017 because I not only love the sound of it (it outperformed the Beam Gen 2 + Sub mini when I tested them side by side), but it was also a significant investment. However, I’ve run into a few problems. First, I can’t connect it to my new ERA 100s in order to use them as surrounds, because they’re not compatible with the playbase, which means I’ve lost the ability that my old Play 1 speakers provided. Second, it doesn’t have Dolby Atmos or eARC. And now I’ve run into a 3rd problem. It won’t play sound when I connect it to my new projector, even when I use an HDMI audio extractor box with an optical out, which would normally be the solution. To ensure the problem was indeed with the Playbase and not with the projector, the converter box, or the cable, I connected my spare Samsung soundbar to it and it worked perfectly. I can only imagine it’s an issue with an outdated chip in the Playbase. Does anyone know a fix for this?  

I have added a few speakers recently, they will not group play and i get this error.  Individually i was able to play music from them and the RAY i added plays on the TV fine but will not group play.  I tried to change the network, no difference and same error.  

Hello, Since a couple of days, I cannot see my Sonos system anymore on the app (for Android). It should appear on the bottom of the screen and from there I should be able to choose the different places where I want to distribute the music, and manage the volume.But now, this part of the screen is totally grey and it is totally impossible to listen music !From the app on my PC, everything is working properly. Why is it not possible to align both applications (phone and PC) ??? It's now a long time ago that this bloody phone application is not working properly... just unacceptable ! Thanks for your help. Marie-Christine 

I'm trying to add a move 2 to an existing system. It appears to add normally but I cant see it in App. I can see it on Spotify app.

Hi y’all. So I just recently purchased a beam 2 last month and I want to get two era 300’s. I’m aware of the upgrade program but when I traverse the app, I don’t see anything allowing me to initiate the process. I’m really confused. I wanna get these speakers and I want to use the credit. My speaker has been registered and I have an account so I don’t know what the deal is

Arc soundbar - dialogue sound does NOT match the mouths of the actors.  Dialogue Sync does not resolve the problem.  Seems to be ahead or behind on any of the available settings.  Anyone else experiencing this.  Tell me I’m not alone.   side note:  attempted the latest WiFi update to see if it would help, it found the first speaker and identified it as a Move 2.  I don’t have a Move 2.  Ones, Arc, Subwoofers, and an older soundbar (I can’t remember the name), but no Move 2.  Aborted.  Hahahaha sigh. 

Does anyone get Dolby Atmos on the Arc Ultra when streaming YouTube?I try the Atmos demos, and they play as Dolby Digital Plus 2.0. I do get Atmos when streaming Netflix.

75% of the timeI try to use it my Sonos doesn't work.  I have 4 different device and it can't find any system when I am standing next to the router and device.  

I have 2 homes, and want to be able see the custom playlists I use at my main residence. Is there a way to do this. When I get to my Cabin, it’s my account, but it’s like starting over. Any tricks appreciated as I have put lots of time into this! Thanks

I have An Arc Ultra two Era 300 surrounds and a Sub 4. I also have a LG G4 OLED TV, Nvidia Shield, Roku Ultra 2024, and a Oppo UDP-203 Blu-Ray player with an OREI 4K HDMI Audio Extractor for eARC HDA-929.Problem: Audio from the left or right surround flutters on/off at random from either surround speaker. It does the from the LG G4 TV, the Blu-Ray player, the Roku, and the Nvidia Shield. I tested it on each device with a YouTube 5.1 Surround check video as well as other adios tests there. I checked the Blu-Ray player the Avia Guide to Home Theater DVD. The problem is reproducible on all of these devices. The Era 300 Surround speakers are using Wi-Fi, while the Arc Ultra is using Ethernet.Note that the on/off fluttering occurs at random to either surround speaker.

Hi, For the past 4 months I am having intermittent issues with my system.  I have 6 Sonos devices. Many are hardwired to an Amplifi mesh network. The mesh-points are all on an ethernet backbone (except one). One of the amps has a dim white light, the other two are shining bright yellow lights

Hi all! I just recently bought a Sonos Ace, and I created my account to add them to the Sonos App. Researching a little bit about the functionalities I noticed I can add content services such as Apple Music (my case), Spotify, Amazon Music, etc. to the App; but my surprise it’s I can’t add those services in the App, literally the function is unable. Is this function only available in certain regions? I live in Mexico and all the services I listed before are available. I already uninstalled the App and reset it, but it looks this didn’t work at all. So, idk if this an issue with App, or if I need to do some trick. Thanks! 

So, even after six months the app is not stable. Search is a lottery as to what results show. BUT Sonos can keep placing adverts in the app that take up ⅓ of the screen.

In an earlier conversation, Sonos said that fixing this is not a priority which makes this even more frustrating.  I have 4-5 Sonos products.  Earlier this week Alexa simply stopped working on the Sonos products.  I removed Alexa then tried to reinstall it.  My app (worst app update ever - people should lose their jobs) tries to restore Alexa but cannot sign into Amazon.  Just an endless cycle.  

Hi there, I’m trying to adjust some settings but before I even get there I’m told to sign out then sign back in again. When I attempt to do this I get the exact same message. What gives?! I’ve got a little too much bass coming out of my sub and I just want to turn it down a little. 

My sonos port is connected by wire to my CD player. My era300 speaker is in a different room. Until recently, I could play cds through the era300. Last week, the sound stopped coming through the speaker, even though the app shows it as playing. I've been on the help line twice. When I try synching the speaker while the cd is playing through port, still no sound comes through. I haven't made any changes. Any ideas why this is happening?
