My Play 1 in my bedroom has stopped working and won't connect to my network or Play 3 downstairs. Also to get it to work my Play 3 is now dependent on an ether connection

Hello, I’m reaching out to seek help regarding an audio issue I’ve been experiencing with my home theater setup. Here’s a summary of my configuration:• An Apple TV 4K (latest generation) connected via HDMI to a ViewSonic LX 700-4K projector,• The projector is connected via its HDMI eARC port to a Sonos Beam Gen 2,• The Beam is paired with two Sonos One speakers for surround sound. The problem occurs only at the start of playback. The first audio output from the Beam is distorted or stuttering. I’ve noticed that changing the video format on the Apple TV (e.g., modifying the color settings) temporarily resolves the issue until the next restart. Another workaround I’ve tried is unplugging and reconnecting the HDMI cable from the projector, which also temporarily fixes the issue. I’ve already replaced the HDMI cables with ultra-high-speed, latest-generation ones, but the problem persists. Can I pair one Ace to bluetooth Sonos…eg Arc or Move and pair another Ace to Ipad.playing music on Ipad that is also bluetooth connected to Move…then we got two Ace listening to ipad music?

I plan to use Arc Ultra with Sonance Architectural in wall speakers for rears (connected to a Sonos Amp). Do the Arc and Amp have to be hardwired, or will it run wirelessly (including Dobly ATMOS)?If I have to hardwire, can I hardwire to a switch that is connected to a Google Wifi access point (that is hardwired to a router).  

I don’t need to repeat the problems around the app. Suffice to say that the app updates have rendered the usefulness of my Sonos equipment down to less than zero. I don’t ever know if it’s going to work or not these days. Imagine planning a Christmas party under those conditions!I’ve seen various threads here talking about legal action and and class action, etc. Has anything come of them? I can’t see any obvious outcomes.If not - I’m considering taking them to the Small Claims Court in the UK just to get my money back on the equipment. I’m absolutely fed up with it. Has anyone succeeded? The process in the UK is pretty simple and I’ve been successful in the past.I understand Sonos can do pretty what they want with their app, but if that results in damage or the - effective - bricking of equipment that’s within its reasonable lifespan, then that is on them.Cheers

Tried to play Dutch radio stations today but all seems to have changed to US stations, ads and all. Anyone else in Netherlands experiencing this? Tried to look for Sublime FM and Sky Radio. 

I have a beam, two era 100’s and a sub mini in one physical room.I have a Sonos ‘room’ designated TV and another ‘room’ designated Music.The beam+sub are currently in the TV room (group) and currently the stereo pair are in the Music room.  I have to remove the sub from TV and add to Music when I want the stereo pair and sub playing together. The stereo pair is in front of me. And I do not use them as surrounds so they’re not located behind me.For music listening, I obviously want the stereo pair and sub, and for Tv I want the beam and sub.I currently have to move the sub when I swap between listening to music and watching TV. Ideally the sub could be in its own Sonos ‘room’ then be added in the app quickly to either TV or Music…but this isn’t possible as far as I know Any thoughts? Thank You 

My Sonos Play:1 is connected to my system of Sonos speakers including Beam. While it’s able to control the music (pause, play, volume) but is not broadcasting any sound. Would appreciate some help.

I have the following, 4X Era 100 Beam ,Gen 2, and a sub gen 5running of an LG OLED TV. is there a way I can get 5.1 from this?

System - 1 Amp connected to a pair of Emotiva ERT 8.3’s, 2 Ports, one connected to a Denon 4311ci (13.2) via Coax and the second connected via coax to a Musical Fidelity V90-DAC, connected via Analog RCA to a HK3490.I was an early adopter of the Amp and Port when they launched, and despite some issues with my Unifi AP’s, I had them working prior to the update by wiring one to Ethernet and leaving the rest connected via Wifi.Like everyone else, the big updated forced me to reset all the devices and re-create my network and this is when I noticed that no matter what I did, I can’t get my AMP to play music.  It shows on the app that it’s playing, but no sound...however it will control the rest of the group playing music on the Ports from the touch controls just fine.Apparently, one of the recent firmware updates killed the wired ethernet ports on the back of BOTH ports, they don’t even light up on the back anymore (neither ethernet port lights NOR the setup button light on the back - but

I have a generation 1 Sonos system and really don’t want to upgrade. However, I am experiencing issues 0laying from my turntable through the Sonos connect - agree a couple of minutes it cuts out. Have tried everything recommended  and have decided the connect probably has a fault and I need to replace. Obviously not made now but can anyone suggest a place to buy a replacement which is in working order and ideally with some form of guarantee? Plenty on eBay but generally private sellers.

I have a Beam Gen 2, Sub Mini, and two Era 100s as a surround sound system. Unfortunately, the Era 100s are not working properly, and the sound is too quiet even at maximum volume. They are not noticeable at all. I am quite disappointed. The Era 100 sound is strong, but not as surround sound. I am unsure how to fix that, or if the Sonos team can fix the issue. From my perspective, the Era 100 sound is fantastic and more than enough for surrounds if they perform properly when assigned to the room.

I’m interested in an Arc Ultra, two Eras 100s, mini subwoofer, and one roam.  Will I also need an Amp?  If I get the Sonance ceiling speakers, will I need the amp?

Since the Sonos Ace doesn’t come with an included power brick, can I use the apple 20W charger to charge the headphone’s battery? I see that the recommended wattage is 15W, but I don’t have any brick with those specifications. Are the headphones able to manage power by themselves using the provided USB-C cable?

My wife and I would like to use the same sonos system and the same user account on our mobile phonesI succeed in setting the system with Sonos app on my mobile and my account (iphone) but when my wife uses sonos app on her mobile with the same account, there is nothing. Hi there,I've got a question regarding my setup, in which I'm trying to integrate a projector, streaming device, HDMI audio splitter, and Sonos Amp. I can't get the Amp to recognize ARC input...Devices: Viewsonic PX701-4K projector (2x HDMI input, only 3.5mm output) Apple TV 4K (have also tried Xiaomi Box S) FeinTech VSP01222 HDMI splitter (2x HDMI Input, 1x HDMI output, 1x HDMI ARC output) Sonos Amp The idea is simple, basically like illustrated in the screenshot I found on Google. Connect Apple TV to splitter, send ARC output to Amp, send regular HDMI to projector. But like I said, the Amp won't recognize ARC input.The one thing I'm not sure about is if all my cables are at least HDMI 1.4, which I believe is the minimum required for ARC. But seeing as 1.4 was first released in 2009, I'm assuming this isn't the issue.I've also read about using an HDMI splitter with Optical Out, combined with a (Sonos) HDMI ARC to Optical adapter, to connect to the HDMI-ARC port on the Amp. Any i

After all the issues with the "App Update" the phyical control buttons quit working. Is that ever getting resolved? It's a convenient way to turn up or down the music without finding a phone etc. Any help out there??

I just bought an Arc and 2 Era300’s for the basement and a Beam and 2 Era 100’s for the living room. 2 questions: 1- Who engineered the Sonos App? What a piece of s***. 2- The Era’s in both rooms cut out for like 0.25 seconds every 15 seconds or so. Why?3- A third question just popped into my head? hello, i have a beam soundbar (2 generation). i bought one era 100 to pair it as sorround. The problem is that when I go into the app under beam and click on !add sorround”, it doesn't find the era 100. the  era100, meanwhile, I installed it in the wifi network and in my system but, even having put it in the same room, it is not found by the beam. Listening to a song I can decide which system to listen to it with but I can't get the era 100 to go as sorround. Where am I going wrong? thanks 

Our Sonos Move has been dormant for 7 months.  I have plugged it in but haven’t been able to find my original playlists.  What should I do?

Could someone from Sonos come to my house wait for this piece of crap to reconnect? It happens every time I turn it on so you’ll probably have to sleep on a cot in the shed.  It also disconnects while it’s playing so you can’t turn it off via app.  I’m available from 5 AM to 11:30 PM 7 days a week.Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
