Hi,i have just taken delivery on ARC Ultra and two Era 300 and I’m trying to figure out where best to place these two speakers. See below pictures of my room layout,  it’s quite narrow so I’m not overly keen to move the sofa forward.i was thinking of using wall mounts and placing them in the circles showing below,  but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, is it best to get a wall mount for the ARC ?

I have a pair of play1’s and a play bar. My system sounds beautiful, put im thinking of adding a sub.  My question is.  Do you think I would benefit from from it.

Does the Era 100 have Alexa built in ? I’d like to have one in my kitchen for music but also use it for setting timers and reminders ? I can’t seem to find a definitive answer, thank you

Hi everyone,Is anyone else struggling with the new app…I’ve just upgraded my internet to 450mbs and still it takes my app at least 10 mins to start playing anything!!????Also my Era100 surrounds and sub keep dropping out then on again randomly…any advice would be appreciated!!Ive had SONOS for about 7 years now and I’m really considering taking it out of the house as it’s so frustrating at the moment!!🫣😡😡

I had a Beam Gen 2+ 2x Era 300+ Sub Gen 2 all paired and working fine. this week I bought a new Arc Ultra to replace the Beam. I managed to set up the Arc Ultra and Connect Era 300s and the Sub on the App. however, the Eras and Sub are not working - no sound when I play TV. Sound is only coming from the Arc.

Has anyone found, created or known a way to play the YouTube music video in the Sonos app to be able to enjoy the video in The computer application while enjoying the music with the Sonos system?

Hi there Just got 2 ERA 300 to play my surrounds with the Arc But got a problem when trying to sync pair the Sub Gen 2: it seems i can only pair the sub or the era 300 but not both. The sub is detected but when i try to add to either the arc or the room system, it saying added after a waiting time (2 or 3min), it doesnt show connected or paired (not assigned)Even doing factory reset with Era or Sub, same issue.People told me it might be the sonos app 2 that having hard time with android phone or it could be something else. Need help Thanks

I note the latest Android / IOS App  includes Playlist editing with the caveat:- 80.18.23 (Android)80.18.25 (iOS)Release date: 31/03/2025In this update:Ability to create and edit Sonos playlists Gradual rollout: This feature will be available to all users over time  Having installed this I don’t see any playlist editing features so my question is: What is the timeline for making this feature available to all?   and will it require another update to activate it ?

Applied latest Sonos app version today on my iPad Pro with current iOS.  I still can’t play any Amazon music playlists from Recently Played or Sonos Favorites on my dashboard: “content unavailable.”  I have to choose Amazon Music, playlists, and choose the playlist every time for it to work.  This has been going on for months.  Same problem happens when I login to the Sonos web version.  Is there a fix for this?

I don’t understand how products at this price range have the most maze like user experience, the era 300 is advertised as a dolby atmos speaker yet it will only play as such if connected as a pair with a beam or and arc, what’s the f point of buying it then?, even if one would argue about how they should be connected through the beam to perform atmos audio, its pairing as surround was next to imposible, so much i just returned the whole thing. I was trying to buy a product not to engage in a 4 year degree of IT. Support is more than complex to have someone to talk to, i really can’t understand how something as expensive as this has a horrible, atrocious user experience  whoever was in charge of the app should be burning in hell, in this and all universes The best part of my sonos experience was returning the products (due to amazon customer service)

Can I use a sub 4 WiFi with a port?

I have a Beam Gen 1 and a One  in my workout room.  Is the ERA 100 , ERA 300, or Move 2 compatible with this Beam?  I use it with my Peloton + bike (casted to my TV) and just want to up my exercise room.  Appreciate it

Why is Sonos so protective of their stereo system? It's puzzling. Yes, I understand why. They believe they can. However, the market will inevitably demand a full surround sound experience from Sonos. One can endlessly praise Sonos for their streaming capabilities. They dominate that market. Unfortunately, that doesn't equate to true surround sound. At best, it's Sonos' interpretation of surround sound. They are betting that millions of people won't notice the difference. So be it.I'm frustrated because I have a beautiful Denon AV system alongside my Sonos setup. Integrating the two has been a disappointing experience. Yes, Sonos will point to their Port, but that's just a band-aid solution, producing stereo sound. There's no point in going on and on, but I wish Sonos would listen. HDMI is here, but they don't seem to acknowledge it. I don't know of any Sonos product that uses HDMI. Why? Perhaps they feel they don't need to.Maybe I'm just like Don Quixote, tilting at windmills.Disappointe

Has been for 3 days, won't load. Mobile app ok, sonos 2 PC app ok. although I have to reset it almost daily for some reason.

My Era 100 has for the last few weeks randomly decided to just play an alarm tone rather than the playlist it’s configured to play? Maybe one day out of last 7 it plays the playlist. I’ve tried turning the setting on and off but still no joy. It’s up to date software wise. Any suggestions? So disappointed how flaky Sonos has become vs my original experience with them years ago

Hi, will this system work to not have a sound delay when playing tv through all speakers. Or does anyone have a better solution. I need recessed speakers to suit the room layout. Purpose is for ceiling speakers and playbar to play both music and movie without delay. The second pair of speakers will be on a volume control and usedfor music playing only.

I’ve successfully setup a Beam/sub mini based 5.1 setup to my PC via optical cable. Everything’s working perfectly. Is there some way to “link” my PC volume to my PC? With my HDTV/Arc, when I turn up the volume on the TV, it effectively turns up the volume on the Sonos. However, my PC Optical Out audio is independent of the volume on the Sonos soundbar. Can I configure Sonos to be turned up/down when I change my PC volume similar to how it works with my TV?

My Windows 11 and Android device both show the same issue; “Can’t Browse Music”.  Everything else works fine.  My wife has an Iphone and she has no issues using the system.  Once she selects music my devices can then control the Sonos app as far as playing or adjusting the volume; just can’t pick any music from the Amazon Unlimited library. I have un-installed the Sonos app and re-installed it several times. I have removed the Amazon Music service from Sonos and added it back… several times.  I have reset the Sonos App and then removed and added back the Amazon Service.   Not sure what else to do at this point.

I originally set up my system (several Play 1, a Connect, One, and two Bookshelf) in a wireless setup with the Ethernet cable into the One. It has all been working well, but now, moving to no Ethernet access, I need to switch the system to wireless. It seems this is not possible without a factory reset of all speakers to enable wireless connection. This will obviously remove all my settings, including services and playlists, which would suck.I tried just resetting the One and giving it wireless access, but once I did this it was of course no longer part of my system. Plugging another speaker into Ethernet I can add the One back, but now I am where I started. There seems to be no way to just connect the whole thing to my WiFi without factory resetting the speakers.

Hello to All!I bought a sonos roam 2 on this week and have a lot of pleasure with its sound. But my main aim is common sound device for all purposes. Using sonos as speakers for iPhone was really cool. It’ll be very convenient to use sonos just as PC speakers. And via WiFi. How I can do it?

I have recently got a turntable and 2 era 100s.I wanted to connect them both through line in (turntable has 2 output cables, left and right output) so have got all the necessary adapters and plugged them both in.However, when the era 100s are set up as a “stereo pair” on the sonos app only the left speaker produces sound when playing from the turntable. This occurs even when switching the cables around, only the left one works, yet the volume can be controlled by either (since they are a “stereo pair”). The right one only works if i disconnect power from the left, in which case the right one works perfectly. Therefore i know there is no cabling issue between speakers and turntable.Despite this, playing music through a streaming service to the “stereo pair” works perfectly.Although if the speakers are NOT set up as a “stereo pair” on the sonos app and are just 2 standalone speakers, connecting via the 2 line in cables from the turntable works perfectly with sound produced from both spea

Has any iOS app update removed the streaming quality in the app?if so, WHY??!!! Now I don’t know if the current song is being played using Dolby atmos or regular stereo!

I just subscribed to Amazon Music Unlimited.  In the Windows Sonos app I already had the Amazon Music service configured.  When I access Amazon Music, I only see music that I purchased from Amazon, none of the 50 million songs in the Unlimited version.I tried resubscribing to the account and still can’t see all of the music offered by Amazon Music Unlimited. Is it even possible to see all of the Unlimited content in Sonos?

It’s time that the software assists users with large local libraries . I know there are some workarounds, but sometimes I just want to browse  and I don’t want or need to begin the browsing at the top of a very long list. Sure searching for something is easy when you know what you want, but if you feel like a bit of a flick through your collection, Sonos has made it impossible. Frankly I think users deserve better after the amounts of money they have spent on their equipment.

I have just been testing the edit playlist feature on android v 80.21.3 os v 85.0.64200.I started with a playlist playing in the queue and then as I was listening to each track I had the edit playlist function open and started deleting tracks from the playlist that I no longer wanted (NOT from the queue itself). After about 10 minutes of editing I was astonished as some of the entries I had deleted reappeared in the playlist right in front of my eyes without me touching anything.I then reviewed the playlist and found some of the tracks I deleted earlier in the session had correctly been removed whilst others had returned BUT worse still was that tracks I definitely didn't delete have been removed from the playlist. ( I noticed this as it was a track I hadn't even got to in the playlist). So not only had I wasted 10 minutes of edits I have ended up with random tracks missing. I now have to restore the playlist and start again.WHAT IS GOING ON?  This would have been easy to miss if I hadn'
