I posted a while back about an issue with duplicate album names (https://en.community.sonos.com/topic/show?tid=6925592&fid=229131). That is still an issue, but this seems to be a new wrinkle.Just eyeballing my album list, I see (at least) eight cases where the same album title is used on different albums by different artists. One example: ‘Greatest Hits’ by (1) Carole King and James Taylor, and (2) Steely Dan.The most extreme case is ‘Unplugged’ by four different artists.(Alicia Keys is erroneously repeated)In all cases, if I select one of a group of duplicates and ‘Replace queue’, ALL albums of the same name get queued. Can anyone else check for similar behavior?Yes, I realize I could get probably around this by simply tweaking the name of one of the albums, but should I have to? Should be a simple fix for a vendor who was concerned. Please advise. Thanks!

I have a new router in the hall now and don't want to permanently hardwire a play 1 speaker there.  Can a 5  x play 1 system work on wifi with none hardwired to a router?  Asking as the app isn't detecting my products, unless hardwired and doesn't seem to be using wifi anyway.

I just discovered that MyTuner Radio no longer works in Sonos. I deleted the service and reinstalled it, to no avail. Yesterday it was functioning normally. Did something change I'm not aware of? Or maybe there is a Sonos-rep who can shed some light on this problem? Thanks in advance.

For the last two weeks or so, my audio has been stuttering when I play podcasts from my phone. It does not stutter when I play music, and it does not stutter when I am watching TV and using the Arc for audio. Sonos support seems to think I have a high amount ot wireless interference. I do not have smart devices other than my TV and I have not added anything new. I've tried all the different WiFi channels with no change. Could this really be the issue if it's not stuttering all the time? What else do you think I could try? I've tried a couple different services and it stutters across both of them.

Hey everyone,I hope someone can give me some advice concerning using Sonos voice control to move music between speakers.  I used to have one Era 100 in the kitchen and one Era 300 in the lounge and I could move music easily by saying “hey Sonos, move music to Era 100” for example.  I have now added a second Era 100 in the bedroom and whenever I give the command Sonos will ask me “do you mean Kitchen Era 100 or Bedroom Era 100” to which I respond and then nothing happens.  I’ve tried playing around with different variations of room names and even named Bedroom Era 100 and Kitchen Era 100 but nothing works.  Here’s my current set-up: Can anyone help me out with what I’m doing wrong? I can of course switch the music within the app but sometimes I don’t want to have to faff around with the app when a voice command should be sufficient.

I’ve seen similar questions before but no actual solution. S1 system  I’m trying to set up a new alarm to wake up with a specific radio station. I have other alarms in my home with that radio station, so it exists and works. I can find the radio station easily in a normal search and it’s added to Sonos Favorites. Bit when adding an alarm, I can’t select from favourites, only from some Byzantine menu of radio genres or by location which doesn’t show up my radio station in any obvious location (Smooth Hampshire in the UK, as it happens). Is there any way to find out where a radio station that Sonos knows about in ‘normal search’ is buried in the genre/location menu? Or some way to select a radio from Sonos favorites? Or copy an existing alarm and just change the room? Anything….?

Hi, looking for some help troubleshooting ongoing issues with Alexa and Sonos Voice Control on my Era 300 speakers. Hoping someone has experienced something similar or has suggestions. My Setup Arc Ultra Sub 4 2x Era 300 (rear surrounds, in a surround setup with Arc) Voice assistants in use: Sonos Voice Control and Amazon Alexa Era 100s in various other rooms TV connected via eARC HDMI to the Arc Ultra which is then set up as surround sound with the Sub 4 and the 2x Era 300 speakers. What Happened Initially, I had both voice assistants working fine on all three speakers (Arc + both Era 300s). Everything was smooth for ~1-2 days. Then I reconfigured my home network, included some VLANs for network segmentation and reconfigured the DHCP settings (lease lasted for 120 minutes so after 2 hours the speakers should have renewed with the new DHCP settings).Side note: 2.4GHz WiFi network SSID and password stayed the same, so devices should have reconnected without any issue. Post-Ne

In My Music section of  Amazon Music Services if I chose Albums I get list of albums but when I click on individual album therein I only get image and not list of tracks to play. If i press on sub-menu and press play now I get error message. However all tracks are there if I access ‘Tracks’ rather thank ‘Albums’ I have not got over 500 tracks and have tried both delisting and readding Amazon to services. Any advice appreciated

Hi, I've just updated my router and cannot find any of my play ones. Even when I wore the router to the speaker. Is this a software issue or is it because my speakers are old?

Hi All,I have a new setup at home that is:Samsung OLED S95D (Dec 2024) Sonos ARC Ultra + Sub (Gen 4) + 2x ERA 300 (Mar 2025) PC with Nvidia 4080 Super and Windows 11 (Dec 2024)I connected everything as I think it should be connected: PC goes to one HDMI 2.1 port on the OneConnect Box from GPU Sonos ARC Ultra to eARC port on the OneConnect BoxUp to few months ago, the system was working flawlessly: I was able to see Dolby Atmos on my PC, the app Dolby Access was showing the configuration (for home theater the Atmos was enabled) and life was good. All of a sudden, probably after an update on the GPU, the Dolby Access stopped working. I can see that the system processes Dolby Atmos from Windows settings, but I am bot able to activate it from spatial audio settings.I tried rolling back GPU Drivers, installing new drivers,  switching HDMI ports but no chances. The spatial audio is gone.I also managed to reinstall Windows 11 (I upgraded my SDD) and I still have the same issue.Do you guys hav

Green light on port, why?

We are looking into upgrading to our first Sonos system, I’m looking at an ARC ultra along with a sub 4 and two Era 300s as the rear speakers. Primary use will be movies. We don’t want to do speaker stands and we don’t actually have a wall behind the couch for another 20 feet. Has anyone ceiling mounted the Era 300s? I read that in the settings you can invert them but does anyone have a similar setup and can make recommendations. Does it work well for surround sound / atmos experience?

Hi, I’m sorry if this has been asked and answered already but I can’t find anything apart from this old unresolved thread. Every playlist or album I start from spotify or from the Sonos app (using spotify) plays one track and then stops. Sonos Era 100Definitely not any kind of network issue.  Its driving me mad and I would appreciate any solution here so so much! Thanks!

I want to mount my pair of Sonos ERA300’s only once onto my rear wall which is against my sofa. I don’t want to be faffing around, drilling multiple holes into my walls to adjust their height so what is best : ear level, slightly above ear level, or higher?Has anyone tested different heights with their ERA300’s as rear theatre speakers and what worked best?Does raising the speakers up 30 cm above ear level make a huge difference>?Let me know what worked for you. Regards

I posted this question in the general section, but it probably belongs in this group:My son just got a JBL Spinner Turntable in his room. We have some “One’s” and a Subwoofer in the house connected through ethernet (wifi). How can he hook his Turntable to those speakers, as he’s excited to introduce his “old parents” to his fresh music vibes (which also includes Abbey Road from the Beatles:)This is his Turntable: https://www.jbl.com/home-speakers/SPINNER-BT.htmlIt seems there are various options, but looking to see if someone has experience with this so we get the best results. Thank you

Sometimes I just want Sonos to play random songs from my Apple playlist ‘Songs’ list rather than having to select playlist I’ve created. I tried adding the Songs list to my queue and to my sources but Sonos just runs the list saying the track isn’t available. I have to shut Sonos down completely to stop the loop. Is there a way to get Sonos to play my songs, I have a large number, randomly?

On the S1 app if you hadn’t played music in a while from the iOS app - and you went to play music it would ask you where you wanted to play the music.  It was a setting in the S1 app called “Confirm Location”.  Is this no longer available on the S2 / new Sonos app.  Was this feature removed, or is there a way to activate it?

I normally use the new Sonos App (Android) on either my Google Pixel 8 phone or my Apple iPad to control my system.  Over the last 2 weeks I have found that 25% of the time when I open the new Sonos App I get a message saying no products found? I also have an 8 year old iPad that still runs the old Sonos S2 App.  It can always find my Sonos speakers and control them. I suspect the new Sonos App is trying to log into the Sonos Cloud system to get some information for my account and when it doesn’t get what it needs, it defaults to displaying no products found.   Has anyone else experienced this and how did you resolve it? Thanks very much Dave

Just setting up my first Sonos, Comes up with error 913, cant find a solution

I use my Sonos speaker in my bedroom for white noise at night. I have a certain sound on repeat and the sound is an hour long. Every once in a blue moon at at a random time at night the Sonos speaker will start playing a random song and wake me out of my sleep instead of just continuing the playback on repeat

When watching movies and tv, I have my Sonos setup so my two Sonos One SLs are used as surrounds. For music, I prefer to have them on full/stereo. When toggling the option in the app between ambient and full for music playback, there is no difference.I used to have the Playbar with this setup and this feature worked perfectly. I just recently upgraded to the Arc Ultra and the Sub 4. Since resetting my system with this new setup and have the Arc Ultra, Sub 4 and 2 One SLs, this feature seems to not work any longer. Is this most likely just a glitch in the app or something? I’m about to reset my whole system again and just try to setup from scratch to see if it solves it, but was curious if anyone else ran into this same issue.

Hello everyone,I would like to buy a Ray and a Roam 2 to:connect Ray on my TV, to watch movies and enhance tv audio have a Roam 2 AND the Ray connected to play music in sync, having the Roam 2 in another room, playing music from my Android phone (Sonos app)is this scenario possible? Or having the Ray connected to the TV only enable it to play music fro mthe TV?Moreover, if the previous scenario would be possible, can I add eventually a Era 100 to play music, in sync, also to it in addition to Ray and Roam 2 (3 devices simultaneously). Thanks!!

Hello all – I have the Arc Ultra set up through my LG Oled55B6P HDMI ARC port. I have an odd issue where every time my TV turns off, if it is not on the ARC HDMI port the Ultra is connected to, the Ultra gets disconnected. The only way to get the Ultra to work again is to switch the HDMI port back to the ARC HDMI channel. For instance, if I turn on my TV after previously playing PS5 through HDMI port 3, it will not have any sound until I switch temporarily back to the ARC HDMI port (2). Then I go back to the PS5 and it works fine. Also if I then switch to another HDMI port while the TV is on after the Ultra is already connected, it also works fine (e.g. after playing PS5 I switch to the Chromecast HDMI channel (1) ). I’ve tried turning off CEC and that doesn’t work. Would appreciate any suggestions or fixes. Perhaps it’s an issue with the Arc Ultra not waking up? Thanks
