I have S2 Controller Version 16.1 build 78151030 on my iPad. When I use the app on my iPad, there appears a message that the iOS version on my iPad is “no longer supported”. However, it works perfectly. That’s good. On my Mac, I have S2 Controller Version: 16.6 build 83161210. When I attempt to use the app on my Mac, I does not work, but demands that I check for updates. I do not want to update on my Mac because of a long history of Sonos updates causing my system to fail and requiring laborious troubleshooting and repair.How can I get my Sonos S2 controller on my Mac to work again without risking the failure of my existing Sonos system?Thanks for helping if you can. 

I have a legacy Sonos S1 system with 5 Connect:90s, 2 Play:1s, a Play3, and a Sonos S1 Playbar.  (I bought the last at a clearance site.)  My original Sonos Bridge has gone out - power supply I’m sure.  Neither ethernet port lights up, and it’s not my Orbi router or the cable (both check out by connecting a computer).  The Playbar is in the same room as the bridge.  Can I get the entire S1 system working by connecting the Playbar directly?  I will experiment tomorrow when the person who sleeps in the room is awake.  I also have a Boost but I think I need it for coverage (it’s a 3-story house on a hill).  If I can’t use the Playbar, can I use one of the Play1s?

Does any one have a fix for not being able to sign in as system owner and customer support telling you that you don’t have the correct credentials to sign in?? I am baffled as to why this is happening and I have 2 different locations so the factory reset solution would be a nightmare resetting multiple devices and hoping it would all sync up again.  It’s also crazy that customer support acts like they have never heard of this problem and clearly there a many people with this problem.

When I connect my headphones via stereo jack to my 5 it doesn‘t switch and still plays.It already worked half a year ago ….

Since a recent update to Sonos Build: 84163110 (MacOS Sequoia, Macbook Pro M4 MAX), I am seeing a lot of performance issues, interruptions and all-out failure.   I generally am using the Spotify App, with my speaker group selected, which is configured from Sonos.In between these failures and jittery behavior (which includes app playing but NO sound), I am seeing callouts to api.branch.io -- some of them fail, this causes Sonos to freak out, lose my speaker configuration/group.  Not good.This application needs to be able to operate without all these external dependencies being “live” all the time.  I can observe this behavior live, when I manually cut off access to api.branch.io with filters and Sonos again freaks out.Is anyone else experiencing this?  I’m not sure this is the best software implementation with these dependencies.

Hi! I have two era 100 (a stereo pair) connected to a sub mini. It works great if I use AirPlay, but if I connect using Bluetooth, the sound only plays on the stereo pair. How Can I connect to all three of them with Bluetooth? Update: I have tried to unplug all of them, plug them back in, and also removing the sub an adding it to the stereo pair. Hi all wnen I use the Sonos app to play Apple Music the last played songs and albums etc are not showing up and syncing on the actual Apple Music app therefore not going to my replay for the month. I have listening history on for the music app. Is there anything else I need to do within the Sonos app side?

I sent my Playbar away to Poland 2 week ago and received notification that it was delivered on the 15th April from UPS, however, I have had 0 communication from Sonos to say that they have received the unit. I have also chased via email and have heard nothing back. From the start of the RMA process until now has been over 3 weeks. Initially I had to chase a few times to get the label to ship the Playbar too.  Why is this process so dragged out?  

Hello everybody,when I launch the app, select my speakers (2 Play5 Gen1 Stereo) and choose my TuneIn radio station and put volume to e.g. 5 as soon the music starts the volume goes up automatically to 25! Independent of last volume when turning off (at any other speaker of my system). When adding additional speakers it seams to refer to latest volume on that speaker.I read that there is no default volume in any settings. So how can I fix this anointing way to loud start up volume?Thanks from Munich 🤗

The sound keeps dropping out on my beam gen 2, it happens randomly 

Currently have play bar with sub and amp to in ceiling surrounds. TV is 10 year Samsung. Planning on upgrading to Sonos arc ultra and a newer tv. Question is what tv is more compatible sony kxr7590 or lg g4? Want best 77” in a fairly well lite room with sliding glass doors about 10 feet away on perpendicular wall. I know a lot of info but this is important to for viewing Sunday afternoon football. Of course we watch crime dramas and movies at night. And when she’s not home I love to crank up the volume for a good disaster flick!

I have a sonos connect that I have used for several years through a reciever.  I have it connected to one of the audio inputs.  Strangely it stopped playing.  I tried a reset several times by unplugging and that did nothing.  I tried a harder reset of the device and than re-added it to my system.  Great. It worked.  But only for about an hour.  Then no sound again. It sits right next to my wifi router. So it gets plenty of signal.  Because it played after the reset, I know it's not the cables.  Any suggestions? 

I recently updated my system to go from a wired / SonosNet system to an all Wireless WiFi system. When I went to add alarms , it would not let me save them. I can put in the information for the alarm but when I hit the save button nothing happens and the alarm does not save.  It seems like this was a problem for people about a year ago but was then resolved and alarms have worked for me up until just now so I can't work out what would have changed. I am using the app for Android on a Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra

Currently have a playbase and 2 *1 speakersconfigured as surround sound, how can I add in a turntable ?If I got an Era 100 and turntable, would this play via the playbase ? Thanks 

Hi thereI checked my sonos devices in my current s1 environment and they should all be compliant with latest sonos app as per sonos own compability page.i get an error stating that there are uncompable device on my system therefore the system upgrade cannot be done.Anyone knows how to deal with this? My devices are: Amp, Beam (gen 1) and a play:1.An old device - Connect 1 is listed on my sonos login but has been removed from the system a while ago. any help will be greatly appreciated. addition: after starting the s1 app and ran system compability - it said that I have an old connect 1 - and asked if I would ever need this on my system - I answered NO and then I was send to download the new app version. Doing this it still complains of incompatible device though…I`m guessing that somehow the connect 1 stills blocks behind the scenes… anyone know a trick to get past this obstacle? Have tried the power off on the devices….

Ok, so right now I have two era 100’s and a sub mini and love the way they sound for music.  Using them for movies is good too, but I’m considering adding a Beam (gen. 2) to add that extra goodness for watching movies.So the question is, once I have all 4 units (the sub mini, the beam, and the 2 era 100’s) configured together, is there a SIMPLE way to disable the beam when I just want to play music through Airplay (or the Sonos app)Alternatively, if temporarily disabling the Beam is not possible, is there a way, when I want to listen to music, to have both the beam and the era 100’s playing full stereo - meaning the era 100’s aren’t acting as ‘surrounds’ for playing music?Thanks for any info!

can i adjust ARC sound volume separately from tv sound volume?    i have a 2023 LG Oled.  From time to time I want to listen to just the ARC, with no actual tv volume. I have the ARC connected via  HDMI cable from the bar to an ARC (Audio Return Channel)-equipped HDMI socket on the LG TV, 

When I search for a song or artist and the list of suggestions appears, if I tap on the song I want nothing is happening. Instead I have to tape the dots at the end of the title and press the play now or play next buttons.This is happening on both iPhone and iPad only recently started doing this after 10+ years of owning this system.i still find the app they kindly dumped on the community last May is still not as robust as its predecessor, despite the numerous updates in the past 12 months. 

I have a Sonos system consisting of a Beam, which handles my television output, and two Sonos Ones serving as surround speakers. It’s been working splendidly, but recently I purchased a Sonos Era 100 to connect my CD player via its line-in. This has introduced issues that I'm struggling to resolve. If I play the CD player through the Era 100 alone, it’s perfectly acceptable, albeit a bit limited. However, attempting to play it through the entire system creates a problem when I next switch on the television. Either there’s no sound at all, or there’s a peculiar echoing conflict where the TV speakers and the Beam fail to synchronise. All I really want is to play CDs when I fancy listening to them and watch television when I wish to do so, with the system understanding which input I desire at any given time. Have I inadvertently created an impossible conflict, or is there a solution? Can anyone assist me, please?

I would like to share with you a small success related to my Sonos. I did not expect a solution to my problem until suddenly it was found! I would also like to greet and comfort my American friends. Hang in there! Here in Poland, we have been holding out for 10 years. As you can see, I have a lot of it:My last purchase, two weeks ago, was ARC Ultra, but I missed one thing both before, with Beam and now, with Ultra. I wanted to listen to the music and, at the same time, watch and listen to sports from TV. Unfortunately, my TV set with eARC, a 7-year-old Samsung Q75, did not allow switching to the TV speakers when connected to a Sonos soundbar. Of course, this is not Sonos' fault but the eARC standard.But I did not give up and …… I found FeinTech VAX04101 HDMI eARC Pass Switcher 4x1. Well, I understand. A match, European football, soccer. Stadium atmosphere and Mad Season! I highly recommend it.By the way, Sonos. When will there be the option to save playlists? I have the latest update a

“New” iOS mobile app still does not display my full list of Sonos Favorites while the MacOS app does show them all.  Please fix this.

I recently had a first generation Play 5 speaker go belly up, and now have 3 remaining first generation Play 3 speakers and was forced onto the new SONOS (2) app which has been a terrible experience with very slow response to changing tracks, loading queues, everything. I tried the complete router & speaker reboot that was suggested on other posts here, and that helped *a bit* it’s still slow but better. My question is: Is this a problem people experience with the new app talking to old speakers? Or do people with newer generation speakers have the same issue with the new app? I want to get a set of new ERA 100s but not if the app experience is going to be like this.

Although I use the Sonos 2 app to control my new components, I also use the old Sonos 1 app to play music in my basement. Unfortunately, the Sonos 1 app is suddenly not able to play anything from my music library. I can play radio through the old app, but when I select Albums, Composers, etc., all I get is a little logo with the text, “No selections are available.” Very frustrating.

Any hep/advice greatly appreciated. Updates run fine on iPad and iPhone. Many thanks!
