i know i need 2 of the ones for surround..just want to connect 1 additional speaker for additional sound...i know i can select them both in app...but i want to turn on the tv and the power and the volume work both together ..

No. Unfortunately, a single speaker will need to be ‘grouped’ with your Arc, which means it will not be controlled by your remote for the TV (although the Arc will), as well as a slight delay of about 75ms between the Arc and any ‘grouped’ room.
