How do I get my system turned on and synced to my TV

has anyone setup a Beam Gen 2 with the Sonos Amp and 2 sets of in-ceiling architectural speakers?

I loose sound on my soundbar for few seconds when it comes from my tv via optical wire. I tried with an other soundbar and I don’t have this problem

I have 5 speakers, 2 Sonos One in different locations, and 1 Beam and 2 One SL as surrounds.I put all of them in a static IP, ranging from 192.168.2.90 to 192.168.2.94, with the Beam being .92 surrounds being .93 and .94.What I’ve noticed is that the SLs don’t appear in my router, but the Beam is jumping from .92 to .94 back and forth. I did some reading and it appears that this is treated as a cluster, or mini network on its own. I didn’t know that, nor it is apparent.How can I resolve that and set static IP addresses to all my speakers, maintaining the surroung trio?Also, I don’t know, but this might be causing the never ending “something went wrong” and need to restart my router...

Hi there community. So recently I bought the arc, sub mini and two era 300 speakers. I was wondering about the following two: -Did I place the era 300s in the best way possible for my room? They are facing forward and not in an angle towards the seating position which is in the middle of the couch. Not sure if I should turn them inwards towards the seating area.-When I sit in the middle of the couch, often I realize that the right speaker is somehow louder than the left one. Support did analyse a diagnostics report but couldn’t find anything. My theory is that it’s because it’s next to the window, sounds bounces back. Trueplay tuning on/off doesn’t matter. I have the surround sound in the app set to 8. Any tips for this? The speakers are far enough from the wall behind and also the sides have enough room according to what is advised in the manual, so that’s not it :)  -any tips for wall mounting is also welcome :) Check out the pics of my room :)

I see similar questions have been posted int the past but I dont see any actual solution?  My system worked perfectly fine for a couple of weeks then, my devises struggle to reconginze each other, the TV always disconnects from the Arc after powering down.My setup:Samsung Q-LED TVSonos ARC and SubApple TVI’ve confirmed:ANynet is onHDMI e-ARC on on autoIve tried:Completey resetting both devises and setting up again (without any other devise connected)tried the (NON e-ARC) HDMI slotSpent hours on the phone with Sonos and Samsung supportInstalling a CEC blocker on the Apple TV line Would really appreciate any solutions to this super frustrating issue 

I only noticed this after updating the Sonos iOS app, but it could have been a problem prior to the update. The microphone for Beam and One are disabled by default, and i lost the ability to turn it back on. I understand that speakers setup as surround speaker pairs will need to have their microphones turned off. But I don’t know what’s causing Beam to lose its microphone as well. No wonder I’m not able to add Sonos Voice Control to Beam! Another thing I noticed is that Network is shown as “Unavailable” for my One and One SL, which were setup as a surround speaker pair.  My questions are:What’s causing the microphone to disable on my Beam and is there a fix for that?  What’s causing the network for my surround speakers to show as “Unavailable”? Is it a problem, and if it is, is there a fix for that as well?Surround sound seems to still work. Hi,Yesterday after turning off the television and nothing else playing, the Beam Gen2 started making crackling sounds. I powered off & on, and immediately the crackling resumed even though nothing was playing. I also noticed there was no LED when powering the Beam on.I left it powered off overnight, and this morning I have tried connecting it again. No LED, no nothing (also no crackling). I have attempted factory reset a couple times, but there is no LED at all when I connect the power.I don't see the speaker in the Airlplay device list, and the Sonos app also is not seeing the Beam anymore.Did it somehow die? Any suggestions what I else could do to fix it?

I have had a Sonos system for several years and it has worked without problems. However, more recently I experience frequent short time loss of the tv sound. It will usually come back automatically after 5-10 secs but sometimes I need to use the tv volume control. Any suggestions to solve this? My Sonos Beam is coupled to my LG tv (LG47LA740V) through a HDMI Arc cable.

Hello, I have what seems to be a common complaint, no rear channel sound when playing stereo (not Spatial Audio or Dolby Atmos audio) Here’s two previous questions.  My system is: Apple TV LG OLED screen Sonos ARC Sonos Sub3 2 Sonos Era 100 for the rear channelThe system works wonderfully for movies and Spatial Audio from the Apple TV. When I AirPlay from my iPhone to the Sonos it also works wonderfully, giving me “fake” surround sound on the rear channels.What we want is rear channel sound when playing stereo music from the Apple TV.The surround setting is “Full” not Ambient, turning this on and off doesn’t affect the sound all.Note, following the tip in the first question I can get rear channel music by turning the “TV Level” slider to max. This really isn’t a solution since spatial audio is now wrong, it is just plain stereo sound.Thanks!      

Since Friday 6th a new update has been available for the Sonos Arc but it always fails with the error code 30 or 1000I am located in Japan and other customers from Japan seem to experience the same thing for one week without any result.Support is not helpful and I tried everything from other topics and support pageshttps://en.community.sonos.com/topic/show?tid=6897049&fid=229129https://support.sonos.com/article/error-30-when-updating-sonos# I can not update my Sonos Arc, and so I can not link back by surround speakers.Sonos support is terrible and it is a shame that simple thing as updating a device should be seamless. 

I have been playing my 4k movies on my Xbox series x and it skips on a lot of movies. So a few months ago I got a 4k standalone player and it was amazing working through the sonos sound system, then I played a movie DTS and sound was terrible. Even though the picture skips on the Xbox the sound is great for all movies, this includes DTS. Does anyone have a 4k player and do they have issues with DTS going to 2.0 channels?

My arc,sub and two era 300s worked fine together. When the new app came out it keep my two 300s on my wifi and put my arc and sub onto my guest network. The arc and sub worked fine together but i couldnt connect my two 300s cause they cant connect to a guest network. I tried to move everyhing to my normal network but now my arc cant connect to my network. Anyone know how to fix this? 

I have 2 era 100 and a sub mini, someone is selling me a arc sl but i couldnt find if its compatible with the other products that i already have, i want a surround experience, can anyone tell me if i can pair all of these products?

I have a sound bar which I typically leave tuned to Classic FM on TuneIn. When done for the day I stop the stream with the power button on the bar. When I press the button again, it starts. I have an IR remote control from an old TV and have it linked to the Sonos sound bar. When the stream is streaming, I can turn the volume up and down at will with the remote. When the stream is stopped, I get weird IR behaviour. Volume down works, but volume up does not. I say either both should work or neither. Anyone else frustrated by this anomaly?NB This is related to an old topic - see link below. I was frustrated big time by that. They seem to have half fixed it.

Hi, I can't play any app (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music) with Air play 2 in My Apple TV.I can do with My iPhone but no with My Apple TV. Just sound 1 second and stop.Does anybody Knows how to fix it?

My Generation 1 Beam stopped powering up, can it be repaired?It turned itself off while in use.

I currently have a TV setup with one arc and one sub gen3.  I also have a Sonos amp connected to 2 outdoor Sonos speakers.  I would like to purchase a second gen3 amp and connect to the arc.  Occasionally removing from arc and connecting to amp to have a woofer outdoors with the two outdoor speakers.  Can this be toggled quickly or does the migration from arc to amp take a long time?

Surround speakers stop connecting.  They sometimes show up  on the APP but still  not working.This happens all the time. I restart the router and SOMETIMES that helps, but now, after doing that still nothing.  I’m at a loss. I”VE UNPLUGGED/PLUGGED/RESTARTED/TURNED OFF ROUTER/TURNED ON ROUTER.  NOTHING. This is expensive stuff and IT SHOULD JUST F****** WORKModerator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

How do I turn off voice assist from my Sonos Beam? It's so annoying! I don't need to be told what I'm doing each operation I conduct including volume!!!

Hi - other SONOS ARC owners have posted this issue previously but it did not reach a resolution so I am reposting.  I’ve just purchased a Sonos ARC and I’m having to constantly adjust the volume level up and down to compensate for the extremely low levels for dialogue vs action / music.  The dialogue levels are extremely low in any movie compared to action and music.  I am using the ARC with a Samsung 55 inch 2019 model.I have set night mode and speech enhancement on.  Still getting the same issue.  There appears to be no further adjustment / modes in the SONOS app to adjust dialogue to music / action balance other than reducing SubWoofer level.  DEAR SONOS team - surely this is a software setup issue which is resolvable?  Please let me know - really don’t want to send it back!! Quite bummed!  Love my Sub, Play 5 Gen 2 and Gen 1 and Play 3.  Thanks in advance for your timely solution to this issue.  

So, last night (17 July 24) experienced intermittent audio dropping whist listening to TV audio on our Playbar. No changes to the setup at all. This issue just started to manifest itself. TV connected by optical. No TV software update. No previous issues observed at all. Will look to disconnect, clean and check optical later. Noted in Sonos App that the status of the Playbar changes from TV to no input. Anyone else experiencing this?Thanks. Kieron

I’m using a Samsung television with smart hub, Apple TV and Sonos Beam. My connection is through HDMI and for some reason neither my Samsung television remote nor Apple TV remote can adjust the volume on the Sonos beam. This recently occurred and I cannot figure out how to fix it.
