Hello, I sold my Sonos Gen1 to buy the Gen2. I have two PlayOne surround.

Since I made the generation change, I no longer see my two PlayOne.

No more way to configure them.

Is it normal or do you force me to have to buy two Era 100?

Too bad, until now I was very happy with Sonos. I also have a One with a microphone.

As much as I look at the Bluesound side as I have a Node...

In Sonos the soundbar directs the surrounds via a dedicated 5Ghz link. If you just removed the Beam (Gen 1) you have left the surrounds without their “boss”.

When replacing a Sonos soundbar I’d take the following steps:

  1. remove the surrounds from the soundbar “room” via the Sonos mobile app;
  2. cut the power to the surrounds;
  3. rename the soundbar “room” in the app;
  4. remove the old soundbar;
  5. set up the new soundbar, giving it the old room-name;
  6. connect the surrounds to the new soundbar via the app.

Could you take the steps I mentioned above again? If not I’d reset the surrounds - after that you should be able to bond them with the new soundbar.
