I have a arc/sub and 2x play 1s.

when I record programmes or watch something that can watch from the start-if I pause or fast forward sound is lost. If I turn the tv off and on quickly-sound is back…

any ideas on what I would need to change?

it’s a Sony a8 tv

latest virgin box. All good cables and no play stations etc attached

thanks!

Hey @etsb1973, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Shame to hear you need to fiddle around to get the sound back to your Sonos system when pausing or forwarding your recorded programmes.

There are a few things you can check:

Are only recorded programmes affected? How about content from apps on the TV?

Please check if the TV running on the latest available update.

I have a had a look for the Sony A8 and found this thread: SONY A8H + Sonos Arc issues | Sonos Community

Might not be the very same issue, but similar enough and the advice given would also apply here.

Hope this helps!
