Hi - I recently upgraded my TV to Samsung Frame. I have a playbar connected via optical with two surrounds. Sound coming out of speakers but unable to control volume with Samsung remote. I have followed direction within community  I setup TV output to Sonos. When toggling volume, TV will display “Sonos (optical) “ but volume won’t adjust This doesn’t work as ‘use with home theater’ is not an option via apphttps://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/use-a-samsung-one-remote-with-sonos-home-theater-speakers Any thoughts/suggestions?

Hi therei have an ACER projector with HDMI connectioni want to connect to a SONOS surround sound group using a Playbar, Sub and 2 Play Ones.advice please on how to go about out this.  Hard wiring isn’t an option due to the layout of the room.

about 6 months ago my sonos system just stopped working, thinking it was the sonos system as being the issue i reset it and also connected it to a none Samsung tv, it works perfectly fine on other tv’s so the sonos system isn't the issue.i have already replaced my optical cable and also the one connect mini- still nothing.Set upTV: Samsung UA65JU7000 with one connect miniApple TVSonos:Play bar - Version 16.5Sub - Version 16.52 x One speakers - version 16.3 TV is connected to one connect mini Apple tv connected to one connect mini playbar connected to one connect mini via optical When using the sonos app i have tried to set up the tv connection again but it wont detect anything.

I have an old tv and want to Connect to my beam gen2 but the tv has nog HDMI ARC and optical connection. The tv only has te coax out possibility. Is there any other option to Connect or is a new tv Needed?  

Playbase for years with LG tv which had older digital optical output.(circular with square port) just bought new Bravia 7 which has smal circular port. I have added the adapter to the Sony side.sony tv connects then to the playbase. I am having audio sync issues, and worst off, I had it sorted, and then the problem came back a day later. I have tried all the configs on the Sony, and audio delay on Sonos  app, with no luck.does anyone have this setup?I also removed the Apple tv on hdmi3 to remove variables.so simply tv to Sonos.

Currently, I  have a SONOS BEAM (gen2), a SYFONISK Lamp, and a SYFONISK bookshelf model from the IKEA collaboration.I want to set them up in surround sound, but I can't do it on the app.It says that the product is not found.(They are also connected to wifi and function as speakers.)Do I need to use the same sub-speakers? For example,Sonos Beam (gen2) and Syfonisk Lamp x2orSonos Beam (gen2) and Syfonisk Bookshelf x2If anyone knows, please let me know.

Morning all .  Can anyone help. I have a Sonos arc connected to my lg c1 via the arc hdmi. A Panasonic uhd player via hdmi and  ps5 in other HDMI.  TV streams Atmos from say Disney no problem and atmos films on the player again no problem. However when I put an older film in. Like say the other day was watching the 4k of death becomes her. I was only getting stereo pcm. I have tried looking through endless threads on here and changed various settings but still only get pcm. Surely my older films should at least be able to do 5.1 . Anybody got any help at all  

Why can I adjust the sound lag in the wrong direction but CANNOT improve it on tv surround setup?Between the Sonos adjustment and the Samsung OLED, I can only make the problem worse.  I waited years to pull the trigger on this setup and (in my wife's words...) "ITS UNWATCHABLE"

I have an Arc Ultra. Era 300’s and Sub Gen 2.  Since upgrading to the ultra from Arc I have noticed that TV commercials are much lower in volume than the show I’m watching.  When watching Football,  the referee mics are also very low.  I did an A/B test using TV speakers and my Sonos system and with the TV speakers the volume is as I would expect.  Anyone else experiencing this?  Thanks.

So I have an Arc for a few weeks now, but I have these audio cutouts when playing from 4k bluray, it happens when there is “a lot” of noise, bandwidth wise, like glass breaking.Sample: I’ve already replaced my hdmi cables, and have been with support of sonos diagnosing this. Their suggestion was a corrupted DTS in the movies audio tracks, which I question because it's on all 4 john wicks.Based on my obvservations:only happening in 7.1 TrueHD, downgrade to 5.1 over spdif out of bd player is fine (sync broken though) only happening with lossless tracks, spanish 5.1 lossy is fine. only happening at high bandwidth moments (player reports audio bitrate peaking 7 Mbps)I suspect it's hitting some DSP limits in the arc that probably cannot be fixen given topic below is 2 years old.Relevant gear: Panasonic UB824, Philips 55OLED708 (mult

My Sonos system consist of an Arc + Sub + 2x Era 100. No issues whatsoever with the connection with the Samsung TV (S95B 65 OLED 4K). The head scratcher is the Yamaha RX-V6A that I was not able to connect with the Sonos system. I would really appreciate it you can share your experience with this.

Hi all. I have a projector that I want to connect to my Sonos wall speakers (no bluetooth). My setup is firestick to hdmi extractor --> 3.5mm jack --> Sonos connect (stereo input) --> symfonisk speakers. The sound is in sync with the picture when it works. But it is very jittery, like it doesn't buffer enough to keep up with the picture. Looking for community suggestions to try to fix this as it is ruining the whole cinema experience I was going for!I didn't go for a soundbar because the projector screen is in front of a floor to ceiling window (i.e. it comes down from the ceiling when in use) and so a soundbar would be in the way, or or the ceiling giving a strange sound vibe. This seems to mean no arc?Thanks 

I’ve inherited a Sonos system in a new(old) house and trying to get it to work. I have managed to get the amp working with speakers in two rooms but having no luck setting up a surround sound system in my tv room. The playbar connects ok to the tv and I have sound from it. However, the two Play 1’s in the TV room (different room from where I’m using the amp and other speakers) won’t work and I’m getting the message - Connection - ‘An Ethernet cable, wired to your router, is required to allow WiFi to be disabled,’Since my playbar and tv are far removed from the router, this is pretty impracticalWhat am I doing wrong and how do I fix it ? 

Hi all!I have a Samsung UE55AU8000 television which is connected to a Sonos Ray via optical cable.This system has worked fine for the last year, but last week (I’m sure it was after performing a Sonos update) the volume buttons on the Samsung remote stopped controlling the Ray.When it first happened, it would only let me increase the volume. Then it would show the Sonos volume up and down indicators on the screen, but the volume wouldn’t change. Now, pressing the volume up and down buttons on the remote doesn’t do anything at all apart from show ‘Optical’ on the screen.i have tried the following:Remote Control Setup - this just says ‘Your TV remote is already set up. Would you like to set up another one?’ and when I try to set up another one, pressing volume up, it says ‘We didn’t detect a signal from your TV remote.’Powering off all devices at mains for a few minutes then powering back on - this didn’t fix anything. Would re

Has anybody had success using an Arc for TV sound along with a third party Sub and surrounds powered by Amp?  I am having a challenging time integrating the two systems to play at the same time, Sonos app seemingly makes me choose one system or the other to play when watching tv and getting sound from TV’s hdmi Arc —> Sonos Arc. 

Trying to connect new Sub Mini to Beam Gen 2, will not connect. 

Hello all, I got a new sonos beam for Christmas and I love it!  When I connect it to my Yaber K2s projector it plays great.  The only problem is the projector only has one HDMI output, and I am looking to use the sound bar when playing Xbox or streaming something on my Google Chromecast.  I bought an Orei UHDS-402A matrix switch (here's the Amazon link for the one I purchased) and while the video plays through perfectly the sound plays through the built in speakers of my projector, and doesn't output through the Beam like I believe I have set up correctly.  My setup is as follows: Inputs: Google Chromecast, Xbox one HDMIOutputs: beam, projector I've also tried hooking up the beam with the optical, but that hasn't worked either. Any help on this would be appreciated!!

I’m having trouble connecting my Sub Mini to my Beam. Everything was working fine before I left town for a few days, but when I returned, the Sub Mini wouldn’t connect at all.I’ve already tried unplugging and plugging it back in, rebooting my WiFi, and factory resetting the Sub Mini. I was able to add it back to the system, and it briefly let me adjust the audio settings, but then it disappeared again and showed as “Sub Mini is not connected.”The status light is on and solid. I even tried connecting the Sub Mini directly to the Ethernet, but still no luck.Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution?

Hi everyone,I was looking for a related issue here but couldn’t find anything.I recently purchased a Sonos Beam Gen. 2 and a Sonos Sub Mini, which I wanted to connect to my TV.After setting up the Beam Gen. 2, I added the Sub Mini, and everything worked perfectly fine in terms of sound quality. I received a deep, very rich bass and was super impressed.However, after unplugging the Sub to do some cable management and then reconnecting it, the Sub failed to deliver the strong bass it had just 10 minutes earlier. I could barely notice a difference in sound whether the Sub was on or off when playing music through the Beam. I tested with Techno and Rock via Spotify over WiFi, so there should have been plenty of bass. Additionally, I tried it with my PS5 and the actual TV, which is connected to the Beam via eARC.The Sub is technically working, as I can hear a very faint bass if I put my ear right next to it.My Sub Mini is positioned in the corner

At present: I have the ultra ultimate immersive set; which includes 1. Arc ultra 1. Gen 4 sub 2. Era 300s… but I decided to give it a little bit of an upgrade and I got an +1 gen 4 sub, 2. Era 100s, and 1. Sonos boost it’s been great but for reasons I cannot fully explain I have just purchased 2 sonos amps. AND two of these. (The Martinlogan motion F2s’…. (I intend on using the two floor speakers as stereo)  I am decently familiar with at least some of the requirements to get as full features as possible. But how might I proceed to try and ensure I that I proceed in the way that would provide greatest feature set?  Please also note that my television has but one HDMI arc portThe intended local is my living room exclusively. Just one place with one television

My sonos arc routinely will drop sinal/sound. When watching TV, it will routinely drop the sound and go silent. After a few seconds of silence, my TV then reverts back to TV sound while the Sonos arc will flash white and then reboot itself and eventually return. The whole process takes about a min to reboot and is very annoying when watching a show with dialogue or a game. When I pair the arc with my Move to listen to music, it will routinely unpair and leave the move as the only device playing or derail the whole system, shut the music off and make me go back into the app to restart the music. Doubly annoying when I’m listening to a playlist and essentially have to reshuffle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There have been no network changes since I installed this about a year ago.

I have a Playbar on Wifi in a room with speakers mounted to the wall. Those speakers are connected to an AMP (not Connect:AMP) in another room across the house. I want those speakers to act as a surround to my Playbar.The playbar works just fine on wifi. I have also installed the AMP on WiFi and can play music through those speakers just fine as standalone. However, when I then go into the Playbar and try to "Add Surrounds", the AMP gets kicked off WiFi and doesn't reconnectg. The 'add surround' process seems to go without any errors popping up. But afterwards, I can see that the old standalone AMP is still on the "System Settings" page with a status of disconnected. The Playbar shows that it has surrounds, but those surrounds are listed as missing. Nothing plays on the AMP speakers. I have to factory reset the AMP, then can reconnect, but have tried this sequence a few times with no different outcome. Watching the router, the AMP goes offline fairly early in the "add s
