I’ve bought a Beam 2 and added my existing era100’s and sub mini to create a home theatre. It’s ok with movies but very unnatural with normal TV. Anyone else had this experience?

Depends, I suspect, on what signal the Beam is receiving when you’re watching ‘TV’. Your home theater setup works best when it receives at least a Dolby Digital signal. It’s less impressive with a stereo signal from the TV, something many shows are broadcast in.
