Can you pair echo sub to sono's arc

Sometimes when I start playing something (doesn’t matter the app) on my AppleTV, through my LG G2, to my Sonos ARC with a sub and 2 Play:1s attached as surrounds, the audio comes through as stereo. Sometimes it comes out where the front speakers are muted entirely and I can’t hear voices, only the background music. When I restart the stream, the audio works as surround eventually. Sometimes I have to restart it a few times. Has anyone experienced this? Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

I have three Sonos Playbars. I want to set them up with two rear speakers, two additional front speakers, and a sub. They want it louder this is for a senior center.I have seen posts that this can be done for the rear speakers but not the front ones. I want to end up with six speakers. They are front left, front right, center bar, sub, rear left, and rear right.Can we get four Sonos 1 speakers and configure them?

Hello,My subscription keeps abruptly terminating.as in it turns off briefly before turning back on. If I halt it and restart it, it always starts. When I play it at medium to low volumes, it seems to do it more frequently.Any thoughts?  

Hello i have 2x sonos play 5 and i just want to know if its ok to connect my sonos five with 3.5 mm aux cable to my new smart tv 3.5mm output (located behind the tv), i can see the little logo of headphone. In my tv settings, i can select ‘’source’’ instead ‘’headphone’’ and the sound is better.I do not have soundbar so this is why i asking. My second question is: if i purchase sonos arc do you know if the audio latency will improve or it will remains the same?Thank you very much for your help.

Good afternoon,In the cinema room I have two play 5, the sound bar arc and the sub, connected by Wi-Fi to each other and to an Apple TV. The Apple TV is connected to a projector via hdmi. When I switch on the system, the sound does not work on the sonos system, assuming the sound output of the projector. Only when I restart the Apple TV and select the output (cinema room) am I able to turn on the Sonos system. How should I make the connection correctly?

I had a Sonos sub that worked fine connected to an Arc + two surrounds group. I deleted it and tried to pair it to another group with an Arc and two surrounds in my house. It wouldn’t accept joining the group. I performed a factory reset. re Added the sub to my Sonos house system. Then tried to add it to either an Arc group or a Beam group and in both cases it refuses to join them. It reports having a strong wifi signal and nothing else has changed in my house. Totally at a loss for why. I have 20 speakers and two other subs and know the process very well. It seems that sub is stuck and while is accepting getting on the network it doesn’t accept anymore being added to anything. 

Dear Community,So I still face the isse that one speaker is closer that the other. Trueplay keeps messing up speaker distances an sets all to “more than 3 meters” in the rears.Why is there just no option to level the rears? They where set as stereo in the beginning and it was possible. Setup with the arc my experience is worse 🫠 why?For the love of good audio - please let us level our speakers!

Hi guys,My Sonos Arc does not generate any sound anymore on any of the TV programs that have on Panasonic HZ1000. But it is working fine when the Apple TV is used. I recently updated the Sonos IOS app and I did not change any setting on my TV. Until a few days ago everything worked fine.

Hey Sonos community, all of a sudden my remotes (Apple TV remote/Roku Remote) no longer adjust the volume of the Arc soundbar.  I have a Vizio TV (newer OLED) that has the CEC turned on and Audio eARC turned on.  Out of nowhere both remotes stopped working.  I have unplugged the HDMI cords and also made sure the Arc has the latest software updates.  I can change the volume with my Sonos app on my iPhone but that’s it now.   Any help would be great!

My Samsung Series 6 television won’t reliably turn on when connected to my Sonos Bean via HDMI-ARC. After powering off the television, the tv’s red indicator light remains solid (normal operation mode) for around 2 to 3 minutes, then it begins flashing intermittently (i.e., tv has discovered a “fault”). When the tv is in this mode, it visibly blinks when pressing the Samsung remote’s power button, but does not power on until the 5th or 6th time pressing the power button. This has been going on for some time, but I’m just now to the point of seeking help from the Sonos Community. A little history: I have searched the Sonos and Samsung forums for answers. I’ve found similar user issues, but no solution that works for me permanently...or for other users aside from full replacement or major equipment swap out. Chains like this (

Maybe a simple newbie question… bought Arc today and easily installed it to my LG OLEDs HDMI-ARC port (no eARC available).Can get sound from TV and Spotify, but only in stereo. Tried several movies (from Disney+) today with Dolby Atmos mark, but getting still only stereo sound (checked that in the app).  Have been browsing my tv-menu and can see that Atmos is selected (but greyed out as only selectable when using tv’s own speakers). No selectable options available more (even how hard I scroll - saw other thread with this solution so wanted to note this…) So far tried: several re-start and cable re-instal of both arc and TV. Re-installed arc from app and re-connected it to tv again. Check that there are now updates available to tv, arc or any app in tv.  Not yet tried optical cable connection.Any good ideas or advices!   

Hi, I am planning to use arc + 4 ceiling speakers + sub gen 3. I want the front two ceiling speakers to create that separation, which is lacking in the sound bar alone (coming from a klipsch floor standing speakers). Q1. What are the options currently in sonos app, for setting up the 4 ceiling speakers (2 amp is okay) along with arc + sub gen 3? Q2. Is 4 ceiling speakers paired with sonos arc a good setup? I learnt that rear ceiling speakers wont give rear atmos effect.    

How to directly play Spotify on arc?It happened at beginning when I set up arc (a week ago) but not today. Both apps are updated.

good day everyone.  I would like to ask you about the way to connect my sonos Beam gen 2 soundbar to the LG OLED55C9PLA TV.  I tried to select eARC passing through in the sound settings, but no sound from the soundbar.I am doing something wrong?Thank You 

good day everyone.I bought a PlayStation 5 a while ago and I was shocked that the sound is only coming from my LG OLED55C9PLA TV and not from the sonos Beam gen 2 soundbar.I tried setting the sound output to eARC but that didn't help at all.do you have any tips or advice on how to get the sound from my PlayStation 5 through Sonos?Thank You.

Hi guys,I’ve been using Sonos products for years and looking to expand my current kit into my home office.  I’d like to connect a Ray to my PC via optical. I’d also like to connect the Sonos Amp to my PC via optical (assuming this is necessary and the amp can’t pick up the signal via WiFi). The amp will be powering 2x Q Acoustics bookshelf speakers that will act as rears.  my PC only has one optical connection so with the above needing two optical connections, I’ve hit a roadblock. Does the amp need to be connected via optical if the Ray already is?  any thoughts or guidance would be very much appreciated!  

Purchased Playbar, Sub, 2 X Play 1’s and a Play 5.Playbar fails to power up. Am told it is not reparable.Wish to replace it with Beam Gen 2.Questions:Is the Beam GEN 2 compatible with the original Sub and Play 1’s for Surround?Can I (or must I) use Sonos Version 2 App for all ORCan I only use Sonos Version 2 App?

HelloAs per the title, I have a LG OLED and Arc. I’ve spent 2 hours tonight trying to figure out why all of a sudden I cannot get any TV audio to play. I’ve just bought the Arc and I am extremely disappointed with the flat sound of dialogs (center speaker). It sounds like it is all trebble - no midtones, no bass.I think the Arc is capable to provide much richer dialogs, because there is “ok” midtone and bass in music.I’ve tried turning voice enhancement on, but that is worse.Any ideas?

My Sub keeps dropping out randomly.As in it goes quiet for a bit then comes back on. Always comes on if I pause it and restart. Seems to do it more when I’m playing it medium to low volumes.Any ideas? 

Hi everyone,I've just moved to a new house and we are trying to create a nice space for watching movie.I have an arc + a sub but I want to add some rear speakers.I'm hesitating between adding 2 era 300 or (just) 2 era 100 since my ceiling is very high and not straight, I've browsed a lot of threads here but couldn't find someone with the same ceiling.Even with true tuning trying to do is best, I'm not sure it's worth since the speakers will not be able to make the sound bounce from the top nor the side?Thanks for your help  

EDIT: I was able to select Dolby Digital after restarting my AppleTV. But I am not able to select Dolby Digital+. Anything I can do to get that option? I recently set-up an Arc Soundbar, Sub (Gen 3) and 2 Era 100 speakers for surround sound. I noticed while watching TV Samsung QN82Q70RAFXZA) that there was no sound from the Era speakers so I checked the TV Sound Settings and for some reason I cannot select Dolby. The only option is PCM. I swear prior to installing the Era speakers that I had it set to Dolby. I double checked the HDMI and it is plugged into the ARC port on the back of my Samsung TV and plugged into the Arc Soundbar. Not sure why I am unable to select Dolby from the TV Sound Settings.Additionally, I checked my AppleTV settings as well since that is primarily what we watch TV and Movies with. What am I missing or doing wrong?
