Just got the Sub mini and saw that it works like s charm with Beam Gen 1. Well not for me.I have added the Sub mini to the Beam and it does not work. Got a network cable to the Sub as I read that it might work. Adding the Sub to my play 1 works like a charm so it is the Beam that is the problem. And the Beam is why we bought the Sub mini…. I have removed and added the Sub mini.I have not changed my wifi to Channel 6 but the Beam connected through e-arc to my TV works like a charm wireless and with the TV. Next steps? Contacting support?

I have a home theater setup with an ARC, 2 Play:1 as surrounds, and a Sub (Gen 3).  Every day at the same time in the evening, the Sonos system turns on my LG OLED TV (OLED77C2PUA )I have verified it is the ARC by disconnecting the HDMI cable between the two; TV does not turn on by itself when disconnected.  ARC is connected via the Simplink port; if I connect via another HDMI port, TV does not turn on by itself, but the ARC will not turn on when I turn on the TV.  I have deleted all of the components form the Home Theater setup, and recreated it.  I have confirmed all firmware is up to date.This week a news issue has cropped up; when whatever happens inside the ARC that turns off the TV, it is now also muting the home theater audio so it is at zero.I have been troubleshooting this issue since June with Sonos, with no resolution.  I just called for what seems like the 20th time for an update; this was escalated to Level 2 6-8 weeks ago.  Offshore support says they will send an email tw

Need help!  Lol.  Having trouble setting up my new Sonos Arc to an Epson LS800 projector.I currently have:-DISH network box connected to the HDMI port 1.  -The Sonos arc connected to HDMI port 2 (arc).-Apple TV connected to HDM1 port 3.I still have sound coming out of the Epson speaker in the front with nothing coming out of the Soundbar.what am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance!

I have a sonos arc, a Sub and 2 play 5 (2 Gen).What are your recomendations for building a home cinema system with these speakers? I can put the play 5 as surround speakers, but i can still listen to music in stereo with them?With this setup will lost the power that a play 5 can bring in stereo music ? Thanks in advanced for your attention!!!!

I have an LG OLED TV paired with a Beam, a subwoofer, and two surround satellites. When a program goes to commercial the sound volume often increases and it increases again when returning to the program. This happens with live programming, streaming from the catalog, or streaming recorded programming from its DVR/server. Is anyone familiar with this and know of any solutions?

SONOS this is crazy - we’ve had our systems 15+ years and have 10 pieces in 2 surrounds setups and various other rooms. How do my two SONOS 3’s just disappear from our surround system? After a long time troubleshooting and looking at community posts, I’ve successfully (kind of) added them back in the room after factory resetting them independently. Now when I add them as a surround pair, I am successful until the part where the app tries to synch them together. I get the error. “Setup Problem! There was a problem preparing your speakers. Please check your network connection or the power on your products in this room.” They both are within 10 yards of the wifi network and are indeed connected to power.  What should I do next? I’m at wits end.  Oh its worth noting too I was able to get them all working at the beginning of this effort with one connected to ethernet but it’s not an option to do that in the room with surround (nor do I want to).I’ve already spent too much time trying to tro

My couch is 14 feet away from my TV which has an Arc and Subwoofer. I was thinking about getting the Era 300 but I’m unsure where to place them.  My couch is 13 feet long, against a wall and the left side is only one foot from the a pillar.  Is the eras 300 the right product and where should I place them?  

I own two Sonos ONE SL speakers paired together. Wanting to expand the system, I would be interested in purchasing a Sonos RAY soundbar, to place under my TV.Is it possible to connect the two ONE SL speakers with the soundbar to create a Home Theater system?Thanks for your answers or suggestions.😉

My soundbar doesnt work when I adjust volume on tv. On device connector I just choose optical connection and that’s all, there isn’t any option for choosing Sonos or anything like that. If I unpair the magic remote then I can adjust volume on my soundbar, it seems that when it pairs something change. Is there any solution? The software version is 06.10.30

Hello, I am looking to upgrade to Sonos in my living room and use some existing hardwire speakers. Currently I have a hard wired center speaker, SUB and Rear R and L In Wall Speakers, all traditional wired. All of this speaker wiring goes back to a network rack in another room of the house. What I would like to do is get a Sonos ARC or Beam Soundbar to replace the center speaker and connect it to my TV with HDMI/ARC port. Then I’d like to pair it with a Sonos AMP to drive the existing SUB and R/L Rear Speakers.Can this be done where the Soundbar will use the AMP to drive the REAR R/L and SUB channels? Any links to KB articles or how-to? I read another post where this is supposed to be possible but it says the AMP and Soundbar have to be line of sight in the same room which has me concerned and confused. Hello, im interested in buying the sonos arc. I had several concerns that i couldn't find the answers on the internet. I live in a apartment with a more/less16sq meter living room. I have neighbour's all around me and some of them dont like noise. im interested how does the arc sound on lower volumes, do you also get the full sound and details on lower volumes and is it an overkill for my size of living room. im not interested in playing it crazy loud, just want a good sound quality on "normal” lower volumes

Howdy,I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the grill replaced on Sonos Arc?In short - i had decorators install a media wall, they mounted the Arc and didn’t cover it properly and as a result there are some faint smudges of paint which i want to either remove or just replace the grill.I did cheekily ask customer service for an exchange as the Arc is less than 30 days old, obviously they wouldn’t due to the nature of the damage (which i fully understand - the person will not replace the Arc either so technically I am liable, which i get - this is not about who is liable etc).I also asked cust service if i can send the ARC back and pay for a replacement grill, and was told that Sonos do not offer replacements (which i find insane for an org that manufactures speakers), and suggested i take it to a 3rd party supplier and in-turn void my warranty (which i wasn’t happy about - why would Sonos even suggest i do this? Weird). So - in summary - does anyone have any suggestions of how to r

i have recently bought and moved into a property with Sonos set up - which is great!I have two Sonos Connect:Amp which work great over WiFi and I have no issues.there is also a Sonos Connect which is connected to a surround sound in the living room (5 speakers) but is routed through a dvd player. I have plugged it into the router and added it to my account to try and get it to play over WiFi but it’s not working…and I’ve tried to connect to my tv which does work but only through a dvd player I am never going to use versus my main tv provider or Amazon fire sticki am not hugely tech savvy so I’ve tried reading forums but got lost…is there anything I can do to connect the speakers over wifi or swap out the dvd player to anything else. It feels a shame to waste what someone has very lovingly invested in. i should also say all the products are S1thanks so much in advance Lauren 

Hi all - Looking to purchase my first Sonos product and trying to decide what would be best for my living room set up used for movies and music. Room is around 20x15 but it’s an open concept to kitchen. Right now the immersive beam set (beam gen2, 2 era 100s and mini sub) vs the arc with the big sub are around the same price  What would be the best bang for my buck? Hi FolksNow sure if you can help but I have purchased a Sub Mini and despite doing a factory reset 3 times now, it sets up fine but just will not appear on my app and therefore I can’t link it to my existing Sonos Beam.I am out of ideas. I have unplugged the router and re-connected, factory reset the sub 3 times. It says that the product may not appear on the app and to rectify the issue simply unplug the Sub Mini and plug it in again. I did that a few times. Didn’t work.Surely it should be a very very simple process so why can’t I seem to get it working?Thanks in advanceGav 

I have my ARC connected to my TV. Is there a way to mute the TV sound, and stream music to my ARC? Essential looking to listen to music and have the TV on with no volume. TIA

HiI recently installed have a Sonos Arc and Sub setup with two one SL surrounds. Is it possible to connect one Sonos play 5 to the system. Will the app allow it to be paired with the arc. If so possible how can it be done?  I recently went to a friends place and he had two sonos sub and two fives as surrounds which gave awesome sound for music. I was hoping to add one 5 to the setup as I cant return my one SL now and so that I could get more sound especially for music.  

Dear friends,I am attempting to connect my Arc with the projector in my entertainment room which are at two ends of the room. I do NOT want to cut my ceiling to hide the cables. Question: What are the consequences of setting the Arc behind my seating? Or can it ONLY be placed in front of the viewer? Thanks!

REPOST of a previous thread, but after all it was not resolved.Hi, I have an issue with my Sonos soundbar setup.I have a 2021 Samsung AU8000 TV, Sonos Beam Gen 2 (Sonos HDMI cable) and Apple TV 4K 2022 (connected via HDMI 2.1 cable).I have just upgraded from Apple TV 4K 2017 and I started having a strange sound issue with eARC, Pass-through and Dolby Atmos enabled. The sound is distorted - high pitched and out-of-sync.If I disable any of the mentioned options, it goes back to normal. Also, this applies only to content from ATV, all internal Samsung apps sound fine.I’ve upgraded my ATV HDMI cable (no change), updated Sonos to 15.10, re-adopted my Sonos System and tried myriad different options on the TV or ATV.So in conclusion, the only change was upgrading Apple TV from 2017 to 2022 model and the issue appeared. Additional findings:Tried resetting via @GuitarSuperstar method. It now sometimes works fine (multi-channel PCM), other times switches back to Stereo PCM, other times glitches

Hi - I am considering purchasing the ARC soundbar to set up surround sound for my TV.  I already have in-wall wired rear speakers as well as in-wall wired third party subwoofer.   I had a couple of questions on set up:1. I think I can set up the rear speakers using a Sonos AMP that will connect to the ARC, but then how do I connect the third party subwoofer - do I connect it through that the Sonos AMP that the rear speakers are connected to or does it somehow connect to the ARC?I’ve read elsewhere on these blogs that if I use the TV remote to control the sound of the TV, that the ARC volume changes but the rear and subwoofer volumes need to controlled separately on my Sonos App.  Is that true? Is there a workaround for that? For the subwoofer, if the setup in #1 doesn’t work for the TV, would this set up work for music at least? 

Today's issue: Have a beam and 2 Ones, connected beam to router via ethernet and HDMI to arc HMDI on TV. Things tend to work BUT I have 2 issues that keep happening. 1) TV box (android box from Bell) keeps resetting and/or picture and sound stop for a second or two before coming back on OR TV box resets and produces a solid green screen and sometimes a nice bright magenta colour. 2) when listening to music via sonos app all of a sudden the sound will stop playing music and TV will start all on its own. Had Bell technican (I am in Toronto) here this am to trouble shoot new router with direct fiber connecting 1GB service and still having the issue.

I have recently bought an ARC and have it connected to an LG TV.This works fine, but when looking at the instructions to switch on Speech Enhancement. I do not get the box at the bottom of the screen to then select the Speech Enhancement option. The app is on IOS, which is 17.1.1 and the Sonos App and the Arc and sub are both at the latest versions.I can see what is playing on a PLAY 1 and open the similar box to what is being suggested here:https://support.sonos.com/en-ie/article/make-dialogue-easier-to-hear-with-speech-enhancement?language=enAny help would be appreciated.Thanks.
