I have a Sonus Roam in kitchen. Sonus Beam(Named kitchen) in Kitchen and a brand new Sonus Beam 2 (named living room)in living room. When I ask alexa to play radio in kitchen Both Kitchen beam and roam respond and say playing radio station. The roam plays the station but not the kitchen beam but annoyingly  the radio comes on the Beam 2 in the living room disturbing anyone watching TV. The Beam 2 cannot hear me as doors shut and Microphones off. Any ideas thanks

I have read on the forum that whe. You enable yhe wifi on the arc it resyncs the surround... but every so often the arc refuses to make any sound. When I disable the wifi it mak s s sound again. I have unpaired and repaired the surround to the arc. But I continue to either have no sound or echoes and out of sync sound.. please help. I wan t to just have a system thst plays consistently after setup.

Titel:  Hi all,I'm using a Sonos Arc, Sub, and two Symfonisk speakers as a surround setup. They are connected to my Samsung The Frame TV from 2017 (model UE55LS003). The system is set up correctly in the Sonos app, but I only hear sound from the Arc. The surround speakers (left and right) stay silent — even when playing Netflix content that should support Dolby Digital 5.1.To be honest, the surround has never worked properly since installation. I recently powered everything down and back on, but the issue remains.Sonos S2 app version: 80.19.21.TV connected via HDMI ARC.What I’ve tried: Verified TV audio output settings (Bitstream + Dolby Digital). Checked grouping in the Sonos app (Arc, Sub, and both Symfonisk are shown as part of the room). Looked for the audio input format in the app but can’t find it anymore. Questions: Where can I see the incoming audio format in the latest S2 app? Is my setup compatible with full surround sound? Any ideas why only the Arc is playing sound?

I have an arc ultra with era 300 and dual subs. Can there be an update in the future for us to have up to 4 subs connected to arc ultra and era 300 in home theater setup. Thanks

Hi, Suddenly Harmony stopped to control ARC volume. Nothing has been changed, i had also an activity to listen music in group, also is stopped working.  I have Homey and i can control Sonos devices without any issue. 

Setup: beam gen1, sub gen 3, 2 play:1 as a 5.1 system connected via earc to samsung s90d. Trueplay tuned and enabledI'm new to sonos but pretty certain I've done everything correctly. When I play music through spotify via phone or ipad, the bass is very lacking. When I watch TV, movies, video games, or run spotify through the TV app, the bass incredible, as it should be. I've seen others have mentioned something similar.  I realize a simple work around is to just to run it through TV every time, but that's annoying and I shouldn't have to. Also, then i cannot listen to my music on full or ambient mode (prefer full) I don't belive this to be a tuning nor sub placement issue, as it sounds great when through TV.Any solution or help would be appreciated!

I have just replaced a working Sonos Ray system with Sonos Beam and the Sonos Beam doesn’t work with the Sky Stream Remote.  The Ray does.  The only difference I can see is that the Beam connects via HDMI Arc and the Ray connects via Optical cable. It is really annoying as I spent a lot of money on the Beam and it is now needs 2 remotes to operate.  I shall get a refund on the Beam if I can’t solve this. I have read detailed stuff about HDMI CEC conflicts but it seems that things have just got too complicated. Can anyone help?

Hi.I have a Sonus Beam Gen 2 and 2 Roam speakers.If I wish to get better surround sound should I replace the Roam speakers with a Mini Sub or get the Mini Sub working in conjuction with the 2 Roam speakers? 

Hi all. I had an LGOLEDB9 with my Arc connected and all was good. I upgraded to an LGOLEDG4 and for the life of me I can’t get it to connect to my Arc. I have tried everything suggested on here. Such as removing all other hdmi inputs and powercycling both the tv and the Arc. Tried different hdmi cables. Reset the arc & tv back to factory settings. And still no joy. Tv setup fails to recognise that the hdmi cable is connected. Even tried the optical adapter! Anyone got anything else I could try??  I should also say I’ve had a 2 hr support call with Sonos too. 

I have an Arc Ultra with a sub (gen 2), Apple TV 4k for streaming and like to switch between my tv and using spotify on my mac.  Works great with no issues UNTIL I added a Move 2 so that I could have that sound in my kitchen.  After much difficulty I finally got the Move 2 to sync with my Arc Ultra playing sound from my TV, (no idea how I did it but it worked) UNTIL I switched to playing spotify on my mac.  Lost all signal to the Move 2 and now it won’t even connect back to my TV.  iPhone app has been only more confusing.  Very frustrated now.  Do I have the wrong product for this type of usage?  Anyone else have this issue?

I recently purchased a Sonos Arc.  Connected to LG Model TV. Problem I’m having is sometimes the sound switches back to TV internal speaker. The workaround is to then go into the tv settings and switch back to HDMI as the audio output. Anyone else having this issue? Not the worst issue, but considering the premium price tag of the ARC I would expect better compatibility.

Hi, I have Arc Ultra in my living room with Sony TV. I am considering to add rear speakers to improve the surround sound effect, ERA 300 is not on my list as the size is big. Hence, I will go for two units of ERA 100. If I just put the ERA 100 on same level as Arc Ultra, the effect wouldn’t be obvious? I will add in sub mini as well in the future.  Really need advices from experienced person or expertise. 

I have a Playbar and two Play 1’s all in my ‘TV room’The Play 1’s are set up as Stereo and the Playbar is connected to the tv via optical cable When I try to set Play 1s as surrounds nothing happens and the app tells me it is looking for compatible speakersHow do I join all components together ? ps was all working until I changed WiFi details It’s all been ‘reset’ and works individually but not as a home theatre set up thanks 

Hi. I’m designing a system in my house, I’m new to Sonos amp, I believe I need it for recessed speakers as Sonos don’t offer mains networked recessed speakers from what I understand? Provisional setupcinema room 5x4.5m:1x bass,1x playbar,1x pair rear 8 inch sonance 1x Sonos amp Large open plan kitchen a lounge space 12m x6m. Tv one end kitchen the other:1x play bar4x 6 inch rear speakers 1x Sonos amp looking to install recessed speakers in 3x wc’s. I belive I need 3x additional amps if I wanted to only play music say in one of them at a time… Or am I missing something? I may just opt for the surface mount mains ones in other areas if buying multiple amps is the only way  im toying with the idea of a audio switch to save on amp cost for the cinema and kitchen rooms listed above, but not sure if it’s going to be a pain to keep switching as they would be mounted all together in utility cupboard, I’d like some ideas of how other people install with similar setup       

I have a 2024 Hisense U7 series TV and a Sonos Arc with Two Play ones as surrounds and a bonus sub.The arc is connected to TV via HDMI earc port.  When I have the Digital Audio Output set to Passthrough and watch shows on Netflix, I get Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus badges to show in the Sonos app.  But when I use Peacock it say Stereo PCM in the app.  But if I change the TV setting from Passthrough to Dolby Digital, then when watching Peacock it show a Dobly Digital badge and does indeed sound better.  But then in Netflix I no longer see the Atmos badge.  So I am super confused as to what setting to put the Digital Output to.  If I put it on Auto, then when watching Peacock, the Sonos app shows Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0.Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1 for shows that was showing Dolby Digital Plus.  Dolby Atmos still seems to work correctly in this settingSo really confused what setting I should put it on.Is there a difference between Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1

I have a Humax set top box, and the volume controls appears as a bar along the bottom of the screen. Since installing a Sonos Arc Ultra the bar has dissapeared and the volume is just a + and - on the main screen. Does anyone know how the get the bar along the bottom back. Thanks.

I have just bought a new TV a Samsung but there is no optical output. With my old Tv I connected to my playbar with optical lead. There is only and optical input into my playbar. Is there a way of connecting my new Tv to my playbar?

Hello there,I have an issue with my Sonos setup (or i think it maybe a Sonos related problem).I have a 5.1 setup, Beam gen 2, 2 ones and a sub mini connected to my Samsung TV. I use Netflix and Viaplay to watch movies. Recently I have noticed that when playing movies in Viaplay it only ouputs 2.0 so no bass and no surround (it has worked before we had a power outage). The info states that the output audio is Dolby Audio, doesn’t specify 5.1 or 2.0. But there are some movies that are new so i assume the are in 5.1 format. Jumping directly to Netflix without shutting down the tv or Sonos system, everything works fine, Dolby Atmos, Dolby 5.1 etc.I read in another forum that this could be a Viaplay issue but then again in other forum that this is definetly a Sonos issue. On the TV i have audio output to Auto, tried the different options but no luck.What could cause this issue? I though that Sonos upscales to 5.1 or at least to 2.1? When watching movies in Viaplay i don’t even have bass fro

Wondering from the community if you’re experiencing the same problem. My setup is using an AppleTV direct to a TV, Arc or Arc Ultra connected to the ARC HDMI on the TV. Starting the YouTube TV from the AppleTV and having a channel that has 5.1 audio, the Arc and Arc Ultra decode 2.0 even though 5.1 is being sent (verified by using stats for nerds on the YouTube TV App). Changing the channel on YouTube TV, the Arc and Arc Ultra decode 5.1 and even changing back to the original channel, it now decodes 5.1. I’ve verified this behavior on two different brands of TVs and the 3rd and 2nd generation AppleTV 4k. Spend 1.5 hours with Sonos support that confirmed this issue yesterday and wondering how many other people have noticed or solved this. Appreciate your insight!

Hello AllI do enjoy movies with my sonos beam + surround devices where Atmos is available. When it is not, such as with dolby digital 5.1 or 7.1, it is just day vs night. Here the sound seems low, quality not good i need increase volume up to 75% while 30% is enough with Atmos soundtrack. So i was wondering if I missed something in my beam or surround configuration ? Thanks all for your support. David
