My sonos arc  not work with alexa, Sonos Skills not showing in alexa app, Problem face last few days, 

Hello,I have the problem that my Sonos soundbar suddenly starts humming. This happens when I use it while watching TV. Is there a reason for this or should I assume that it is defective? Thank you!

Our home theater resides in our Condominium living room. The system includes Beam Gen 2, 2 One Sl surrounds and 1 sun mini.We’ve seen multiple YouTube that recommend having 2 Sub’s and begs the question if the current S2 App can connect a 2nd Sub Mini?We opted away from the much larger Sub Gen 3 given its cost & our shared wall Condominium space.Thank you

Yes I know Arc is not compatible with S1 but I’ll explain why I have what I have. I have a total of 6 Sonos Connect Gen 1's, each powering 2 Sonos In-Ceiling Speakers in 6 separate rooms, including the Living Room. When we moved into this home, all that was already hooked up.   The Sonos Connect Gen 1s are of course only compatible with the S1 app   In my living Room, I have a Sonos Arc as my flat screen TV external sound system. The Arc is only compatible with the S2 app. The Arc is currently connected with a Sonos Sub (Gen 3) as the subwoofer. There are currently no speakers configured as surround sound speakers for the Arc. I bought these when I first moved into the house. I am new to Sonos so I didnt know about the S1 / S2 divergence/incompatibility.  The problem: For my Arc, I would like to be able to configure the Sonos In-Ceiling speakers in the Living Room as the surround sound speakers for the Arc for when I am watching movies on my flat screen TV. Hello everyone,I recently upgraded from an Orei UHDS-202 HDMI switcher to an Orei UHD48-EX230-K, and I'm experiencing issues with syncing my Sonos Arc sound bar with my main LG TV. Previously, the audio setup worked perfectly with the Orei UHDS-202, but now, I can no longer get the Sonos connection to appear on my LG TV. Here’s my current setup:- **Devices Connected**: TV box, Amazon Fire Stick, and PS5, all connected via HDMI.- **Outputs**: Two TVs connected.- **Soundbar**: Sonos Arc, which used to connect through HDMI ARC via the old switcher.With the new Orei UHD48-EX230-K, the sound bar isn’t recognized by my LG TV anymore. I’ve tried checking the HDMI ARC/eARC settings on my TV and ensuring all cables are high-speed and properly connected, but nothing has worked so far.Has anyone faced a similar issue or does anyone have insights on how to resolve this? Is there a specific configuration for the Orei UHD48-EX230-K that supports audio transmission more effectively?Thank you in advan

Hei! I have a sonos beam gen 2 connected to a Philips 50PUS616/12 through Hdmi Arc. I have an apple tv conected to other hdmi and despitethe fact that most shows have dolby atmos, i never experienced it since the sonos app says that it is streamed in dolby digital 5.1any hints? Can i ever see dolby atmos on the app?

Hi there, i did everything to be able to listen to movie in atmos, i cant seem to be able to do it. I am able to listen to music in atmos but i cant with movies. I dod all the setup on the tv but i still cant. It always say Stereo Pcm. I am out of idea honestly.

Good morning.I'm in the process of building a house. and I want to build a home cinema. Should I wait for new sonos product launches in 2024?Will there be a possibility of Sonos making tower speakers one day?or with the new sonos2 app I can have the possibility of individually defining each place on my speakers, for example (1 pair of sonos one sl as surround another pair of sl as surround back, sonos amp and two tower speakers like monitor audio or triangle borea as left and right, sonos five as central speaker.....Thanks

The surround sound setup instructions with Arc and Amp (to utilize my existing passive speakers for rear and sub channels)  say that when the surround feature is activated for Amp, the Sub output in the Amp is deactivated. So I can’t utilize my existing non-Sonos sub in a surround setup? If the sub output would work for a music only Amp setup I don’t understand why it would be disabled for a surround setup. Am I missing something? This is a pre-purchase question so i don’t have hands on experience with AMP and ARC yet. Thanks,

I have connected my SONOS Playbar to my iMac via the former’s optical connection. I bluetooth (and have the option of hardwiring) the iMac output sound to a receiver that converts it into a digital optical signal that then inputs into the Playbar. I have the SONOS App both on my iPhone and my Desktop. The Playbar is configured and set up on both platforms. When selected to ‘TV’ the iMac sound output works on my Playbar, however after a while the SONOS App defaults to ‘Music’ and prevents the iMac sound output reaching the Playbar. Why does this happen and how can I stop it?

Does Sonos provide warranty in India for products which are sold in the Indian market ? Also does Sonos provide services which are out of warranty in India ? 

Dears, I noticed severe quality degradation since system was updated to 16.1.1. Sound is breaking every 30-60 sec. Any solution here? My set: Beam 2 + MiniSub+ 2xOne

Hi all, So I have 2 front and 2 rear in wall architectural rectangular speakers and 4 in wall architectural ceiling speakers. This is for a TV setup. Originally I wanted a 5.1.4 setup but wanted to stay with Sonos for ease.I know I can set up the front and rears with 2 Amps and surround, making a phantom center. Is there any solution to add in the ceilings with another amp or two into this setup? Do I need to just get a receiver, and if I do will the phantom center be less effective? I'd prefer not to add an Arc because of the crowded look between the TV and mantle… but would consider it if it was the only solution.

Bonjour la communauté, j’ai un système sonos s1 qui fonctionne bien et qui n’est pas compatible avec S2.j’ai acheté une Ray que j’ai branché sur ma TV avec un câble optique qui a fonctionné immédiatement.j’ai eu le malheur de vouloir la synchroniser avec le reste de mon système S1 ; je me suis rendu compte après coup que la ray n’était pas compatible ( uniquement S2)j’ai réinitialisé la ray en espérant tout effacer et la rebrancher sur ma TV et m’en servir que pour le son .depuis elle clignote en vert mais ne fonctionne plus ;pouvez vous m’aider SVP ?j’espère ne pas avoir tout planté    

I have two questions: I recently purchased a samsung the frame tv and have a Sonos beam sound bar. The sound bar is connected to the One Connect box and produces volume, but there is no way to control the volume using the Samsung remote. Can I change this?   I have two Sonos One speakers that are connected to my living room. I tried adding the beam to the same Sonos group, but I get an error that my app is not the right one. I’ve uninstalled the Sonos 1 and Sonos 2 apps about twenty times, and I cannot get the app to recognize the sonos beam at all?

I am a long term customer of Sonos. Currently I own more than 20 devices. In my home theater I have an Arc, two 300's, and two Subs, one of them is a Gen 1 and the other Sub is Gen 3. My Gen 1 Sub shows as "Not connected", and for a couple of years now… I tried resetting many times, changing positions, etc. I don't know what else to do. Any recommendations? 

I would like to disable my Beam and only enable the 2 Five and my sub while playing music.an option should be added.a similar option is already available for the sub and the surrounds.

A few months ago we added a Sonos Arc to our LG G3 TV.  It worked great except that volume control only worked on the TV remote, but not the cable remote.  Then one day the volume control suddenly stopped working on BOTH remotes. So I can hear the volume but I cannot adjust it except by getting up and doing it by hand.  I’ve tried the LG Magic Remote specific instructions listed elsewhere, but they make no difference (when they even match what’s on my tv).   I’ve tried resetting the remote, making sure CEC is enabled, and changed just about every setting on my TV, but none of it makes a difference. Getting increasingly annoyed.

Hello, I have a client who is already in the Sonos system. He has a pool house with a TV and wants to add a soundbar. He would also like to play the TV to 2 speakers mounted on the pool house and possibly to the speakers around the pool. Not all the time but likes the option. I was going to suggest a Sonos soundbar for the TV. Then a Sonos amp for the 2 speakers on the pool house and a Sonos port to connect to the amp for the speakers/sub around the pool. Will this work? Can the TV audio going to the soundbar connect to the Sonos Amp and the Sonos Port through to the mesh network? Can you group and ungroup the speakers through the app?I would probably leave the pool house speakers and the pool speakers permanently grouped or bonded and add or subtract the TV soundbar when needed if possible. Let me know if this is possible and if I’m going in the right direction.Thanks

I just bought a Sonos Ray to compliment a newly purchased Denon AVR-S970H, five in ceiling speakers and a sub woofer.  I cannot figure out how to incorporate the newly bought Ray into my existing surround sound set-up.  I tried connecting the optical cord to the AVR, but both optical ports on the AVR are input, not output.I am not an audiophile, so I need some help.  Both Sonos and Denon CSR’s were not helpful.Can I connect the Ray to the AVR via HEOS or Wi-Fi?Any assistance would be appreciated.  Thank you!

This may not be directly related to the Sonos product but I am hoping one of the Sonos community has had the same issue and been able to resolve it.I have Oticon Minirite 1 hearing aids that use a streaming device to connect to the optical output on a TV to stream the audio from the TV to the hearing aids via bluetooth.I have an LG G3 TV and a Sonos Beam Gen 2 soundbar.If I connect the Beam Gen 2 via the eArc connection the TV locks out all other audio outputs (bluetooth and Optical). The result is I can’t have my hearing aid streamer and the soundbar connected at the same time.I have contacted LG and everything they recommended I try didn’t work. In the end they advised that this is how eArc works as it is the best audio output so all other outputs are disabled.I have an older LG that has Arc and if it is connected to a soundbar all other outputs still operate.Has anyone had the same experience and found a resolution?ThanksRegardsRalph
