Has anyone else had this issue? I have two Beam Gen 1s that have been working fine for a couple years. I use them on computer monitors which do not have ARC, only 3.5mm out, which I’ve been converting to optical and using the included Optical to HDMI converter to get the monitor out to the Beams. I got a new remote and wanted to set it up to control the volume on the Beam, I was forced to update the app and beam in order to set this up, which I am now regretting. It took several hours to get the update to finally apply to the beam without it disconnecting. I did finally get it set up on the new system and was able to go through the TV set up like normal.The issue now is the beam refuses to play with the optical input. Nothing else in the system has changed. I moved the unupdated Beam into the same room and plugged it in to the same setup, and it plays without an issue, it’s only the updated beam that won’t play. We got a new Sonos ARC and trying to connect it to the app is a nightmare. We keep getting the message “There was a problem adding your Sonos Arc to your system. Try again later”We have tried many many times later.  We have rebooted to wifi, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the Sonos app and factory restarted the arc. What else can we do?????!!!!!! 

Is it possible to use a Sonos ray soundbar with an ikea Sonos Ray with Ikea SYMFONISK and a Sonos Era 100 speaker for surround sound 5.1?

I have an older Sonos Play bar and two S1 satellites connected. They have worked wonderfully until yesterday.  I got an update the app notification. And sadly I did it. Now, the app no longer connects to my Sonos equipment. Instead it connects to my TV’s SPDIF. When I go into the LG TV’s setup, it says Sound Disabled. It does not allow me to reconnect. The result is my system is unusable. It was fine until yesterday. The app update killed everything. The support phone number is an 85 minute wait, there are no chat agents available, and the chatbot is laughable. Asked me the same question five times in a row. I have a feeling I need the older app but don’t know how to go back. HELP!!

Before the app update, “About My System” would show the format of the HDMI input from my TV. It is blank now. Another user said it is in the ‘Now Playing’ area, but it doesn’t appear for me.

I just purchased a brand new Sonos receiver and the Sonos App does not work. It is a revolving loop of signing in, and the application was deleted, reinstalled, the WiFi is over 600bps. The tech company, which is a Sonos dealer, said it is not the Sonos system, it is the app. The speakers work though the new amp with individual streaming services, but not with the Sonos app. Also, my Sonos Soundbar will not hook up by bluetooth to the Sonos App either. When will the new Sonos App be fixed?

My TV does not work with the Sonos and Sonos app. I have no sound! I am not happy

Hi everyone, I’m really considering upgrading my old Samsung soundbar to Sonos Arc (+Sub and Ones as surround speakers). When reading discussions here I stumbled upon a lot of threads regarding problems with Samsung TV’s and the Sonos Arc regarding Atmos, 5.1, sound cutting out etc. Some of the threads were quite old so I was wondering if someone with a similar setup could confirm if problems have been patched or if there are still problems with the functionality. I really wish to upgrade but at the same time I’m a little afraid to invest and then end up with the setup not working as intended… My setup would be as follows:Apple TV 4K 2nd gen—> Samsung QN90A (2021) with HDMI —> Sonos Arc with HDMI eArc Could someone comment if they still have problems with a similar setup? Thank you very much in advance!!

Is there a way to adjust individual speaker volume in a group speaker setting?

Helloafter the sonos app update , i did an update to arc and after update the arc can’t find the sub i try everything , restart app, restart router , restart Sub to default settings and still not work, its say the sub is on the same network and the sub login successfully to Family Room but in Family room i see only the arc.. please help me with this i try like 2-3 says to fix this without any success 🤷🏽‍♂️

How to download latest software for Sonos 2

 Hi all, I hope someone knows about this topic. Since the last update of the Sonos app I'm having trouble with my surround system. I have an Epson projector that connects to a Bluetooth receiver (soomfon SF-BT013) and this connects through the Sonos optic-hdmi adapter to the beam bar.For the past 5/6 months I've been using this setup without any issues. And since more or less a week ago there is no sound from the setup.- I've tried a new Bluetooth receiver(thinking this is broken) with no luck.- Tried also resetting the whole system, no luck.-  I've connected the bar on a Samsung TV through the optical adapter and also by eArc hdmi and both work. -  music streaming works.Not sure what is happening and how to fix it.

Sonos amp is in system but coming up not registered? Tried resetting and reconnecting but won’t register to be able to be used

I have the Arc, Sub and One SLs for surrounds, anytime I connect the sub and/or surrounds to the Arc they disappear out of the app and do not play sound or music.i have reset the router. Factory reset everything.unplugged the router unplugged everything, factory reset and turned on one at a time. Unplugged the arc, reset the router, then plugged it back in.   Nothing has fixed the issue.  What do I do now?

Another big bug with this new app….i randomly get where the “group” for my arc, surrounds, and subwoofer do not show being hooked up to TV/HDMI but instead say that no music is currently be played. When this happens, the equalizer shows everything at 0 and trying to change anything, it slides right back to zero. Then after time passes (usually hours) it will go back to acting like a home theater group and show the TV/HDMI source, state what format the audio is in (Atmos, 5.1, etc), and the equalizer becomes usable again. I have a Sonos ARC, an Amp with two Architectural in ceiling speakers, and a sub-mini. Initially, they were all connected via WiFI and worked consistently for TV, but they often disassociated as a group when playing music through the Sonos app. I would see the Arc, but not the Amp and Sub Mini (showing ? Instead of the product in the Sonos app).After reading some suggestions here in the community, I ran Ethernet to the Amp and the Arc. Since that time, the Arc, Amp, and Mini have all consistently been available as a group in the Sonos app for selection. But I started noticing a different problem.Every so often while watching TV the television would lose connection to the Arc and switch to speakers. Following advice from this community, I removed all HDMI sources and ran just native television apps while connected to the Arc, and the problem continued. I replaced the HDMI cable between the television and the Arc, and the problem continued.Finally today, I removed

I have a pair of era 300s. Pair with a beam gen2 and a sub.   Can I use the era 300 on Bluetooth as well 

I’m sure this is simple. My husband wants all the tech but has no clue how to set things up and leaves it to me. we have a Roam .. easy to set up and was working nicely with no issue.  Then he bought an arc, amp and 2 ceiling speakers and here’s where I’m at:Arc is up and running no problem. Connected to TV via HDMI ARC port on TV  AMP is plugged in and wired to ceiling speakers but I can’t see it on the app. I def added it and entered the pin. I saw it was connected to WiFi when I deleted and reinstalled the app so it’s there somewhereROAM seems to have disappeared once arc was added but a/a it was there when I reinstalled the appQuestions:Do I need an optical adapter to connect AMP to TV (is this all I need to create surround sound from ceiling speakers?)How can I find / use ROAM independently? I'm trying to put youtube music on my sonos app. Not the new app but older one. I have the playbar an Gen 3 sub. It keeps telling me to sign out and then in as the owner. So I signed out I made a new password I signed in I don't know how I determine or how I tell it I'm the owner I mean I would assume it would know that I'm the owner. I recently moved so it's that fruit you know probably a good month before I got it back up and running and I have it wired into my Blackhawk six router hardwired I'll just find it seems to run better that way I love the products I love the sound I listen to music daily everyday and I find the YouTube music is a little bit easier accessible when you want to listen to something particular so in that regard and I've already had a YouTube music account so I might try downloading the new app and then doing it that way but any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated thank you

I have mobile 5G mobile broadband, sonos sound bar and sub (gen 1) with two play 3’s as rears plus a Play5. Im struggling to set up now I've switched from a normal broadband router to a mobile hotspot type 5g system. The system is both 2.4 and 5. It would be great to have some help 🤩

When watching TV I have the beam sound set high and control the volume with the TV remote.  If I forget to turn it down it wakes up the neighbours when I play music.  I want separate volume control for WiFi vs cable inputs.  My remote won’t pair with Sonos.  

Hi everyone.So my current set up is:LG C2 OLED TVSony UBP X-700 4K blu ray playerSonos Arc + 2x Play 1’s and Sub.I’ve had the above set-up for over 6 months now and have never had any issues playing any of my 4K discs. I’ve never had to fiddle with any settings on the TV or Blu Ray player, just pop them in and they will play fine.However, in the past week all of my DTS-HD 5.1 discs have suddenly stopped playing any sound. My discs that are Atmos, DTS:X or DTS-HD 7.1 all still work perfectly - but every single 5.1 disc is silent. Checking the threads on here i can find various suggestions for different settings on the TV and BR player, but having spent hours going through trying different ones and while most didn’t work, i have now managed to get it working by changing the Digital Sound Output setting on the TV to PCM. After changing this, my Sonos app now shows ‘Stereo PCM’ instead of ‘DTS-HD 5.1’ as it has always done.My questi

Hey all,  So, I just ordered the ARC and will wall mount it below my 65” TV in my open living / kitchen. I am thinking of buying 2 x Era300 and having them behind the couch for surround system. The issue that I am facing is lack of electricity outlets where you easily could connect the speakers too. My idea would to connect them and have them under the sofa and having an extension cord running on the floor and under the TV-bench. The open space is 29,99M2 I measured and the distance where the cable would be out on the floor is 64, and 39cm of them is on the actual floor ( rest is on the rug). One solution would be to have a some chord cover on the floor. It is 283 cm from the wall, where TV and Arc will be mounted, to behind the couch where I would place the Era’s. Does this layout sound good? Will it be worth it even, with the distance between the Arc and the Era’s, they aren’t cheap…
