Hey guys,I currently have an Apple TV 4K streaming in Stereo to my 2 Sonos ONE SL speakers through AirPlay2, and it works great. But I’m thinking about improving my setup by adding 2 rear speakers → would it be possible to use it as a surround sound through AirPlay2 ? (i.e. to get only the “rear” sound from those 2 new speakers...) Thanks a lot! 

I have an Arc SL soundbar connected to a Sony Bravia. No problem for about two years… now all of a sudden volume control from the RF TV remote will stop working. The indicator light on the TV flashes, but the volume slider on the screen does not appear and the volume stays the same.The sound is still coming through, I can control the volume from the Sonos app and a restart on the TV will USUALLY correct the problem… for five to ten minutes and then it fails again. I replaced the HDMI cable with a brand new one at tech support’s suggestion… no fix.Any suggestions?? Thanks.

Can anybody help instal a SONOS BEAM Gen 2 in the Bridport area of Dorset?

I used my playbase for few years icw KPN and Philips tv, after update of mobile app now the volume of KPN is low, but the output of apps of the tv directly are ok (eg when I use chromecast of tv )why is this KPN sound so low volume?

Just purchased the arc,Connected via earc to lg65qned816qaVirgin tivo hdmi 1Xbox series x to hdmi 4(120hz)All working fine,but nothing is outputting in dd atmos.Any ideas or do I need hdfury arcana the tv is only 2 years old.Thanks

I recently purchased a Sonos Playbar and 2 x Play 3 speakers second hand.  I have spent ALL DAY trying to set the speakers up in the Sonos App.  I did a reset on all three speakers as advised.  Multiple attempts have been made, rebooting both the modem and the speakers, uninstalling the app and reinstalling.  I have tried EVERY SINGLE FIX I could find on line but still no luck.  I'm using my Android phone with the app and have tried both wired and wireless setup.  When trying to add a device, I keep getting to the point where the app wants me to run an update in order to finish the set up, I go through that process, the update begins and very slowly moves through the process but stops each time about ¾ way through every time!  By then, the speaker times out because it's been more than 30 mins.  I have good, uninterrupted wifi so that can't be the problem.  HELP!!

I have a Sonos arc two errors  300 and a generation three sub. According to a picture that I saw the subwoofer was in front next to the TV and the two eeros 300 Speakers were towards the back.  Is this the correct set up for both the subwoofer and the arrow speakers for not only music but home theater sound?

Since the last Sonos App update my Sub gen 3 doesn't work anymore. I cannot even connect it anymore.I am very disappointed in Sonos. The problem started with the new Sonos App. Please but back the old Sonos App in the Google Play.I bought the Arc and Sub gen 3 just 3 weeks ago and now I have problems already?Anyone else experiencing this problem en know the solution? Sonos don't have a solution at the moment.

While watching TV and listening via the play bar, sonos ones and sub; I accidentally played music which muted the tv and couldn’t get the audio back.  I had to shut off the tv in order to get the audio back.  Anyone else experience this?   I’m not too happy with the new look of the updated app.  

Has anyone tried this…...Appears it should work correctly??If so…...what switch did you use? Thank You in AdvanceRob

Im currently using a playbar, sonos 1s and subwoofer for my living room  i find that the playbar is a bit quiet is there a way to turn up the playbar whilst not doing that for other speakers almost an individual control for each speaker would be great.

I have one Sub, which I usually swap between my TV System (arc) and my music system (five)Worked fine on the old app. Just add sub to respective room.Iphone upgraded first to new app. Didn't work, "an error occurred, check network". Luckily,  my android still had the old version,  and I could swap from that other phone Last night,  also Android was upgraded,  and now same problem here. Already restartet and powered off everything,  including router.I didn't register for any beta program,  so why is the new app behaving like a beta? 

Due to BT switching over to Digital Voice we received the latest Smart Hub 2 from them today. I setup the router and conned my iPad, my partners iPad and our phones to it, all good.  Next up I decided to add my Sonos speakers to it. In the living room I have a Beam, Sub and two Sonos One SL speakers, and upstairs I have a Sonos One.I’ve not experienced any issues as yet, but I’m seeing some worrying info in the Hub Manager->My Devices, namely duplicate IP addresses, but in the Sonos App on my phone I’m not seeing any duplicate IPs at all?This is a screen grab from the BT Smart Hub, Hub Manager: This is a screen shot from the Sonos App->Settings->System->About My System on my iPhone.  As you can see there are no dupes and the IP address for the Beam is totally different to that shown I’m the Smart Hub 2, Hub Manager settings.  Anyone have any idea what’s going on here?Thanks,Moderator edit: removed serial numbers and MAC addresses

I have a 5 year old Sonos Beam connected to my TV and am wodering if the Sonos Era 100 is compatible with the Beam and would it enhance the sound quality when watching TV?

I find all this very strange. Three years ago I bought a Sony ubp-x800m2 which I connected to a Sony kd-65xh9005 TV, and further to the Sonos ARC.I was pleasantly surprised when everything worked. DVD Audio, and the SACD discs worked perfectly. But...After six months, an update came from Sony TV and voila...Everything gone.I contacted Sony. They blamed Sonos. Sonos blamed Sony.Now it has been almost three years and no one has been able to fix this. I mean, we live in 2024, we can see other galaxies via Hubble :)How difficult should it be to answer this?Hope one of the parties fixes this.If nothing else, it's a nice collection of SACDs to look at.//Nohrman

My TV is recessed into the wall and it’s eye level when sitting -- about 20 inches off the floor. can I place a Beam below it on a shelf? My other option would be to mount ti above the TV. In either case, the Beam would be above or below ear level.

Hi, grateful for any help with my sonos beam please. I only recently bought it and it's driving my wife and I crazy. It's echoing around every 10 mins or so. It usually only lasts for around 30 seconds and then corrects itself. I can also correct it by using the reset button in the TV Dialogue Synch settings in the app. 

Hi I have a streaming box that only outputs stereo. Is there anything I can do to turn it into 5.1 as I have the arc two play ones and a sub. Thanks in advance 

My Sonos Arc/2 Era300 system keeps going to PCM 7.1 rather then Dolby Atmos even though the same DVD/Blu Ray/streaming movie showed Dolby Atmos in the past…..using Apple TV 4K and LG C series tv…. 

Hi all,Took delivery of a 77” LG G4 2 days ago.There is an eARC issue I am experiencing specifically with Dolby & DTS content when reverting to Multichannel PCM 5.1 using external devices.Basically, if I am playing something in Dolby Atmos on the Apple TV for example & then switch over to a device which is set to Multichannel PCM 5.1 (Like the Nintendo Switch surround sound setting), I will have no audio on the Nintendo Switch until either turning the TV off and back on again or completely powering off the apple tv which then seems to release the audio for the Nintendo Switch.Like I said earlier, this only happens when you are playing or have just played Dolby/DTS content on an external device and then while that device is still turned on you switch inputs to another external device. It doesn’t happen with Stereo, Multichannel PCM 7.1 or any other format, which makes me thing it’s an LG firmware bug causing it.Anyone else here with an LG G4, Sonos ARC, Apple TV 4K & PS5/Nin

Used to have a Samsung TV that went wrong and I replaced it with an LG. The old remote worked, and is still working with my playbase, however when I try to update and use my magic remote via the Sonos app it says it can’t find it. I’ve been through every (logic to me) menu I can think of numerous times. IN the TV I am connected via the optical lead. On the TV’s app I have selected Sonos as the manufacturer but the app says it can’t connect because of the null modem cable!!!! Sonos helpline says it’s because of the TV and it’s settings, even spoke to one of their tech guys who said get in touch with LG, but thought I’d try on here to see if anybody can help me. I have read several discussions on this topic and have tried “Bose” and “Phillips” but neither have worked. Anybody got any ideas please???

Hello,I would like to open discussion and try to find some answers to my issue.It has been few months since I start noticing some issue with the sound coming out of my Sonos Beam, it was mostly noticeable with sounds of traffic or rain where the sound was getting the infamous metallic qualities as if it was being compressed. Especially when having the Sonos in Night Mode the effect was even more exaggerated and noticeable. I started searching what the issue is and whether this is issue of my TV or the soundbar itself.First I tired to play same sound via TV and then via Wifi connection. It was clear that via Wi-Fi the sound was playing without any distortion. I got a new HDMi cable with a Arc support and change the original Sonos one, this did not solve my issue either. I spent hours chatting with the support of both Sonos and Samsung, went through remote reset of both systems, did not help Finally I brought the soundbar to my friend with a different TV (also Samsung, different model) t

I have my Sonos beam (gen 2) connected to my sony smart tv and it is very quiet. Need to put it to volume 50+ from the sonos to have what would be level 15-20 on the sony tv. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m assuming it is a setting on the tv that I need to change. Let me know, thank you
