no sound

I’ve enjoyed years of great service with my Sonos  (ARC) system, last night someone changed a lot of settings on my Sony TV, now when I try to increase the volume from the sonos app i get this message:

TV Audio

SPDIF

 

any clue how the fix this issue?

If you tell us what model your tv is, someone may be able to tell you what settings you need. 

Turn on CEC (Bravia sync on Sony) to activate HDMI-ARC.
