Just recently my Arc when not in use suddenly emits random noises, sort of like popping sounds. It does this quite loudly for around 10 seconds then stops. Thsi is noise happens randomly. Some times 2 or 3 times a day, sometimes once a day and sometimes with a couple of days gap. The first time this happened on first use after the noise the volume on switch on was extremely loud. Since then the volume is always much louder than at switch off when used after the sounds. Any idea what is happening.

At this point we cannot rule out a funky signal from the TV or an ARC fault. Are you able to adjust the noise level with ARC’s Volume control?
Overall, I think that the most practical way of addressing this is to work with SONOS phone support. Submit a diagnostic within 10 minutes of an event, then call support.
