I have a sonos amp with 6 ceiling speakers that were working perfectly fine but just stopped working the other day. I have been trying to call support and waited for a long time with no answer.things that i have doneUpdated all the firmware Unplug all hdmi and power cables and reconnected Switch the breaker Tried all the sound setting on the tv My amp network status says unavailable WM: DISCONNECTED ( My system is hardwired to router ) When i turn on up the volume on the tv sonos still appears Music will play fine from app but no sound from tv

Hi,I have a android TV Box connected to Arcana and from there to the TV and ARC. When watching TV from Plex server for example  I have maximum DD+ Surround as sound output. My question is can I have another option as Dolby Atmos sound available as when playing movie with Atmos sound? Anybody?Moderator edit: Combined posts

Hi,  I can't seem to get 5.1 source with my arc sl. I have a Vizio m60 c3 TV. I am connected using HDMI arc (port 1). Checked my audio settings on my TV to use bitstream. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Using Netflix on Nvidia shield (2017). My arc sl just shows audio is PCM 2.0. Please help and thanks.

Since the recent update, Pocket Casts doesn't save where I was in podcasts anymore. It does remember which ones I haven't finished, but I have to search and listen where I paused manually now. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi Sonos FansI would like to seek for your valuable advice in getting “Dolby Atmos” sound quality for my setup. Through my current setup (left diagram) as illustrated below, I could only get "Dolby Digital Plus 5.1” by connecting Sonos Arc into HDMI (ARC) port of XGIMI Horizon projector.My objective is to get “Dolby Atmos” sound, do you think it can be work out by adding an adaptor (i.e. Feintech VAX04101 or HDFURY Arcana) as illustrated below (right diagram)?  

I’m building a media wall with fire underneath & the TV, LG G3 65, sunk into the fake wall.My Arc is going to be difficult to integrate as it needs to protrude & height wise it’s pushing the TV too high.I could put the Arc above but it would still protrude & sound could be impacted. I could have a bracket to pull out the tv & Arc when watching but that seems like a faff. Im therefore looking at swapping out the Arc for KEF LX II or LX II LT’s.  I need to connect them to my Era 100 rears & Sonos sub mini.  Will the Sonos amp be able to do this and will I be able to use the TV remote for volume??any help/thoughts very much appreciated!

I took the system update tonight and now my sub will not link to my account. I reset it and it gets found and connects but then won’t link to system. Unfortunately it has also updated my controller which is terrible. Any ideas? Every update seems to cause problems with my sub and surrounds

Hi,I want to add some Sonos ONE or PLAY:1 speakers as rear speakers to an existing Home Theatre system and possibly a PLAYBAR as the centre speaker. I already have a Onkyo Amplifer with Floor Speakers and Subwoofer so I just need to know what, if anything I need to purchase to facilitate the above and how best to configure it. At first I thought I would need a SONOS AMP and run an audio output from the Onkyo to Sonos AMP but what I have read so far has just confused me. If anyone could let me know how best to set this up, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Microphone, microphone light, (and Alexa), no longer functioning after factory reset and reinstalling under a new account. The main led light is functioning and the Beam itself is working ok, along with my 2 Play:1 speakers as surround sound.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have had Sonos beam gen2 for about three years. Bought it new along with a new Samsung 70 inch tv. Worked great since original connection. This morning, turned on tv and no sound from Sonos. Tv speakers play sound so not cable input issue. Changed hdmi cable, no sound and I’ve always used the ARC hdmi port. Reset Sonos to factory settings at least 4 times now including after rebooting my modem and router just to try anything. No sound. Each time I go through the set up on the app, everything works till the connect to home internet. At that point it cycles and eventually says, “Sonos is added but may not appear in the system tab. Disconnect and reconnect and complete set up in system tab”. I did that each time, nothing happens, no sound and when I go to the systems page, the soundbar doesn’t appear. If I did connect and reconnect the hdmi from the tv, the tv recognizes that the device was disconnected and also then reconnected. Tried optical connection to hdmi cable, no sound. Called So

Since the last Sonos App update my Sub gen 3 doesn't work anymore. I cannot even connect it anymore. I am very disappointed in Sonos. The problem started with the new Sonos App. Please but back the old Sonos App in the Google Play. I bought the Arc and Sub gen 3 just 3 weeks ago and now I have problems already? Anyone else experiencing this problem en know the solution? Sonos don't have a solution at the moment.

Just bought today a new Sonos sub mini to connect it to my inititial configuration of speakers (1Ray and two Era 100). No luck though. After the initial setup and updates it keeps the product unregistered and for an unknown error I cannot connect it with the rest of speakers. Any help would me most appreciated.

Can you add a Sonos sub or two, to an AVR with a Sonos Port?

New Sub out of the box,  says unable to register, try again later, tried with iPhone and iPad after app upgrades, new and old products difficult to connect to WiFi. 

I purchased a second sub for one of my two rooms. The new app will not allow me to assign to its room but we were able to assign to my other room. When moving it to proper room it once again failed to be assigned. Then two ERA300 speakers dropped their assignment and can no longer assign them to a room. Pretty weird. 

I have the sonos beam 2 and i am using with my projector so it is mounted above the screen using the flexson tilting mount. When it is mounted like this it is upside down. My left and right channels are switched. My apple tv and projector have no option to invert the audio. Is there anyway to do this on the beam?

I bought sonos arc last year and connected with SONY OLED TV thru HDMI eArc cable. Oftenly happened no sounds when turn on TV for a while (DID NOT SWITCH ON). To solve it, I need to turn off and turn on again. Is it common problem for sonos arc?

Sonos beam Gen2 sound buffers, or audio skips, can’t watch a game using the speaker

I had to buy a new Wi-Fi setup.  After re setting up the speakers, the sub doesn't read my network like the other speakers.  It simply says network unavailable.  Is that normal?  If not how do I correct it? 

My Connect:Amp disappeared from my Sonos app and I can’t play anything on it anymore. The LED is just slowly blinking white. Before this issue, it has worked flawlessly for 8 years in the same spot. Have several other Sonos products that still work.Tried the following, but none of the below worked:Not able to factory reset - held down the play/pause button for over a minute while plugging in and it never reset from what I could tell - tried 10+ times only ever got a slowly blinking white light (never saw an amber color) Wired it directly to my router via ethernet, and have left it on and connected overnight per this article (the ethernet lights on the back do turn on when plugged in but it doesn’t show up as a connected device from my router) Then re-tried step 1 while still wired directly the next dayNot sure what else to try, does this just mean it is broken? Anybody have a similar experience?

What a mess this new update ! My Sub Gen 3 cannot be assigned or registered. It connected to some point to ARC then when transferred to FIVE went back to “not registered”. Tried every solution mentioned in the forums ie deleting the app, restarting the router, hard resetting the Sub, deleting the system etc but nothing works. Any ideas ? 

Hi. I just added a Sonos Port to my system and am triyng to add it as a component to an existing room that contains an Arc, two Sonos Ones and a subwoofer, but the app creates duplicate rooms with the same name. Any suggestions?

I have seen many Arc vs Beam threads but not one that answers my particular question.i already have a pair of ones and only want to spend around the £800 mark.So it comes down to is the arc with ones better than the beam with ones and sub mini. I can find loads on the arc v beam and sub mini but nothing that includes the surrounds.There is also the caveat that my 65” tv has a wall at one side as I am in a back to back terrace which won’t allow the recommended distance for the arc but will for the beam.Having never had a soundbar will this mismatch side wall distance render them both a bit useless. The arc would be 22cm one side and about 2m the other. Originally I wanted the amp but due to new furniture and layout the bookshelf’s no longer have a place!It is very difficult to demo my room layout and I have only ever had ones so any advice appreciated. Music is equally as important as movies and I have listened to the soundbars and subs but in huge environments where it is impossible to

After the last update today.  My arc was dropping out with a popping sound.  So after the hard reset of the arc.  I cannot add both of my subs. Even after the hard reset. sonos should be open till 8 pm in the netherlands.  But at 7 it says its closed.  very disappointing in this update
