can arc ultra be mounted to TV using same mount as arc first generation

Am I right in  thinking that Sonos Play1 can be used in separate rooms but not as surround speakers with arc ultra sound bar? Connected using wifi not Airplay

Hi! I’ve bought a new TV (Samsung Q7Fa) which doesn’t have an optical out. I’ve read that I need a HDMI ARC to Optical adapter/converter. I also wan’t to be able to control the playbar volume with the TV remote. Does anyone have a suggestion for an adapter that will work? Thanks in advance!

Why does the Sonos Beam Gen2 increases Sony Bravia TV volume by 2 levels instead of 1?How can I fix this? Please help.

Can I conect lg subwoofer without soundbar to sonos amp

Hi guys! I recently bought a pair of era 300 mainly to listen to music. With Roku's app I can stream the audio to the pair and it works good. However I am missing some of that 5.1 experience because Bluetooth from Roku is kinda limited. So I was thinking of adding a soundbar to the system. Will the era300 full functions be too limited if I pair it with a beam? Will it work as 5.1 system anyway, with Dolby Atmos? Also: to hear music I have to create a different system within the Sonos app? Read some stuff about this here in this forum and got only more confused

I want to move eras around for other purposes, like playing music without the full surround set up. is it possible to create a duplicate living room where eras are not set up in surround?

I am buying a Samsung OLED 65” tv, how will the sound fair once connected to my Sonos beam please

Hi,I would like to order the combination set of Arc Ultra + 2 Era 300s.  The Arc needs to be black with the Eras white.  Is it possible to order the combination deal in this configuration?  There is only an all black or all white option on the website. Thanks, Kevin

When trying to watch a movie through Disney app on Apple TV, the sound is broken, intermittent…… all other apps play fine…. Netflix, prime….. it’s just the Disney app…. Advice please

I am looking at purchasing a 83-85” tv. I currently have a samsung QN85Q70TAFXZA 4k Smart (2023). I have had a lot of problems with it switching tv speakers randomly. I have eventually got it to work semi consistently. From what I can gather LG and sony tv’s tend to have the least issues when working with the sonos arc. I am wondering if there are any particular LG models or series that considered “problem free” when it comes to working with sonos arc?

I currently use a Sonos Arc setup with two Sonos Subs in the same room, and the improvement in bass distribution is fantastic. However, in larger rooms or more acoustically challenging environments, the ability to add a third (or even fourth) Sub would be extremely valuable.I’d love to see Sonos expand the current limitation and allow more than two Subs in a single zone. This would open up new possibilities for advanced home theater setups and professional installations. Is this something Sonos is considering for future updates? I know many users with larger spaces would benefit from this flexibility.

Hi Sonos,I’m experiencing the same issue that user CarlDemus mentioned with the Sonos Arc.I honestly didn’t expect this kind of sound quality concern from Sonos. Compared to my 65" Samsung TV speakers, the Arc’s sound comes across as thin. I really noticed the difference when I compared it side-by-side with my Bose Smart Soundbar 700. The Bose was connected using an optical cable, and the Sonos Arc through HDMI eARC, so I could switch between them instantly. To be honest, the difference is significant. At 40% volume on the Bose and 75% on the Sonos Arc, the Bose still sounds fuller and richer. It makes me wonder if my Sonos Arc might be defective. One night, I turned off the Arc and continued watching using the TV’s built-in speakers — and the TV sounded louder and more present. That was extremely disappointing, especially after seeing so many positive reviews online. At this point, I’m frustrated and unsure if this is a unit issue or a general sound profile characteristic of the Arc. An

I am looking at changing my TV currently I have a Samsung QLED and recall when first linking it up to Sonos it was quite a chore. I have heard Sony is the best for Sonos for ease and quality would this be true.

I have a TCL QM8K and for the first months with my setup everything was working fine. I have the Beam Gen 2 connected to the ARC port of the TV and Play:1 as surround speakers. I was able to play movies with AAC 5.1 or 7.1 with no problem. Now the movies with AAC only plays as PCM 2.0. I have no idea if it was an update that caused this. I even downgraded my TV OS to see if that was the problem but it wasn’t. I have a huge catalog of movies and a lot of them are only in AAC multichannel. I don’t know what to do.

My current set up is Sonos Arc, Sub Mini and 2rear one SLs as surrounds. Thinking of upgrading to Sonos arc ultra and 2 era 300 as surrounds but not sure if too much or would upgrading soundbar be enough. Looking for some advice. Thanks

I have a 3 year old Ray which has been flawless until now. It’s started making a buzzing noise when a high pitch sound is played. We play a game where wolves howl and every time they do, it happens. Sounds like vibration. Is there anything I can do to remedy it, without having to send it off? It hasn’t been dropped/knocked. It’s been properly looked after. The issues happens when the volume is high or low but only when that certain high pitch ‘howl’ is played.  Thanks in advance

I’m using two Era 300s as surround speakers for my Arc Ultra, but I’d like to listen to music directly on the Era 300s in simple stereo mode. The only way I’ve found is to remove them from the Arc setup, then pair them together — and then do the reverse operation for home theater mode, which means recalibrating everything again.

Is there any sonic benefit to placing my sub-mini on stand and getting it off the floor?

I just bought a pair of Era 100’s from Costco and paired them with my AppleTV. Right now I can only control the speakers with the app on my phone. Is it possible to pair them with the AppleTV remote? When I try it wants me to use the Sonos remote to learn to pair but the Era 100’s don’t come with a remote.

Hi all, i have bought Sonos Arc ultra. I have been using only AirPlay so far. I have a standard projector and Apple TV. And I wanted to know if I get Sonos Amp would i be able to get Dolby Atmos output ?  please note the projector doesn’t support HDMI Arc output. It’s just a standard HDMI connection

Sonos has only gotten more difficult to move and re-setup.  Done. done. Done.  I don't even care if I can resell the system I've purchased, just ready to unload it. Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

Voice on update is now excellent. It was very bad before and needed subtitles. Now everything is way more balanced with the right volume of surround to voice. PLEASE do not f.... This up by changing it. Leave it. I have a beam with small bass and surrounds s2I've had hi fidelity systems for 40 years and it is now excellent.

I have:sono ampsonos Sub gen 3sonos arc ultrasonos architecture ceiling speakers sonos architecture wall speakers  before I got the arc. The sound was in incredible. Blew my mind. But once I added the arc ultra, I found the sound would no longer play from the architecture speakers as they are now considered height speakers / surround speakers and I am making a leap here that if the sound is not destined for those speakers it. It no longer is sent unless it was supposed to. Like when listening in Dolby it does go to them.  Most noticed when listening to music some tracks sound night and day different. Almost terrible.  OR if I listen to music on Sonos app. Sounds great.  BUT if I listen to music from the tv ( you tube, Apple Music ) it sounds terrible again.  I would prefer to be able to play sound to the architecture speakers like before and just add the arc ultra as additional speakers.  could I use my other amp that I use seasonally Denny outside speakers and use it solely for my arc

Hello,I have Sonos ERA100, ERA300, Arc Ultra, Sub Gen 4 and Beam GEN 2. I bought all of them in Singapore. Since we are moving to The United States, I have a concern. Singapore: 240VAC 50HzThe United States: 120VAC 60Hz. Can I use all of my Sonos products in US only with plug adapter?
