I am looking at changing my TV currently I have a Samsung QLED and recall when first linking it up to Sonos it was quite a chore. I have heard Sony is the best for Sonos for ease and quality would this be true.

I have had 3 Samsungs over time connected to SONOS, never had a problem, but there will always be some who have challenges, just as there probably are with Sony.
Currently I have a 55" S90C OLED Smart 4K TV (2023) where I have the Arc ultra-Era300-Sub 4 connected.

I have several Sony TVs now, hooked to Arc, Arc Ultra and gen 1 Beam and all work with no issues.
So far they have been minimal hassle and TV updates haven't been disruptive.
