Voice on update is now excellent. It was very bad before and needed subtitles. Now everything is way more balanced with the right volume of surround to voice. PLEASE do not f.... This up by changing it. Leave it. I have a beam with small bass and surrounds s2

We recently identified an unintended sound profile change which increased the bass output for some Sub Gen 3 and Sub 4 users: There hasn’t been any change made towards the Sub Mini. While this doesn’t change voice clarity on the Beam, that was the only (unintentional) change made recently to the sound profile of home theater devices. Since the Sonos Beam and Sub Mini weren’t affected, we won't be adjusting them, so how your system sounds now will be how it stays.
If you do notice a change, try adjusting the Speed Enhancement option in the Sonos app if you haven’t already. Otherwise, keep your system settings as they are.

Wow well even my son noticed we don't need subtitles on shows anymore. Maybe the bass masked quality of vocals....
