Sonos eArc connection options with non eARC 2013 Samsung 65” tv.

I changed my router and needed to change my wi fi network. Sonos support recommended that I reset the connection to factory settings, otherwise I could not connect. When connecting sonos products via the app, it finds them but cannot update, shows that an error has occurred when searching for updates What I didn't do and I rebooted the router and unplugged the sonos from the network, only to turn it back on 15 minutes later, nothing helps. I have used the Android app and the Iphone app, which I have reinstalled, but anyway it shows can't update the devices, it shows error, the Iphone shows that I need to log out of my account, but there is no way to do it in the app. Please help.

Hi, I currently own a 1st gen Beam and was curious if it would be possible to play Dolby Atmos content if I get a pair of Era 100’s as surround speakers, or would I need to upgrade to the 2nd gen Beam in order to access Dolby Atmos?

Hi, favor to ask the community as i’ve been searching for the last hr but no luck. I have a Samsung Frame TV and just installed an AMP + 4 sonos ceiling 8” speakers. I do not want a soundbar. So i’m curious how to get the sound working?  I’m assuming HDMI-ARC from the FrameTV box to the AMP via HDMI cable? cheers

I’m thinking of purchasing a Premium Immersive Set with Arc , and ideally being able to “stream” music from a turntable - Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable in Black (Sonos Edition), with a Port.Would this allow me to seamlessly switch from TV sound to Turntable, with sound coming from the surround 100s as well?I’ve found a few confusing suggestions about creating different rooms, pairing different speakers, using a 100 as “line in”, but that doesn't sound very appealing…

Hi, I still cannot trueplay tune my playbase using my iPad 9.Gen.If I try, the wrong dialog is comming up.There is no “tuning twice”. The app tries to starts right with the “Then, you’ll walk wit your iPhone...” part, but softlocks the moment I tap on “begin tuning”.If I borrow an iPhone, I can trueplay tune this PlabaseIf I use my iPad for my none Home Theatre speaker, trueplay tuning is possible.Any news on that?I have an open ticket with support, but never herad back from them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can my Sonos be connected to my smart tv

1. Can the level of sound be displayed?can you change the level of sound dropping to zero when first putting on?    re: Sonos Beam

I am connected by Bluetooth to my lg g2 tv.  To get a passable volume ace is st to max volume. Apart from the eq, is there any way to boost the volume.

I hate Sonos!  Every time you do an update, my app stops working and I cannot control the sound on my TVs.  I spent over an hour last night at my home trying to get the system reconnected, rebooted everything and tried reconnecting.  I would be told by the app that the item was connected but then when I tried to join the surround sound to the Arc, I would get the picture of the TV and the Sonos One SL and one would make the sound and I would click that corresponding picture and it would act like it was going to connect and then I would just get error messages.  Any of these systems are the bain of my existence.  We also have on at the office and when I went to change the volume, it was told that it was not connected to my system.  I spent another hour trying to follow all of the directions to connect it again but just constant error messages.  And yes, after rebooting I just unplugged it and turned the volume on the TV on.  This system should not be this difficult and I am good with a

When my Samsung TV is turned on, the Sonos system (Arc, play 1’s & sub) no longer automatically changes over to TV input for the system (TV Autoplay). System settings have been checked, TV auto play is enabled. Each time the TV is turned on I am required to use my phone to change the input to TV…what a load of hassle. Multiple posts on this all since recent update. System has been fully shutdown, all power and HDMI cables disconnected and re-booted. Issue still exists!

Hi Sonos Support and Community, I’ve had my Sonos Arc since August 2020 and recently, my Arc has started emitting this distorted/robotic sound while watching tv or playing my Playstation. At first I thought it was my Playstation 5, however I was just watching tv (Youtube TV via my Apple 4k tv) and the sound was back. On top of this latest issue, I’ve been running into issues with my Arc not playing any sounds out of HBO Max AND Netflix. I’ve read other blogs and posts and can assure you I have my settings set up correctly. Sadly I’ve either been on hold for 60+ minutes or just been waiting as #6 in line for the chat for the past 60 minutes… Just trying to look for answers as I can’t even use my tv with the sound sounding like this. And yes, I’ve unplugged my cables and replugged and tried other HDMI cables…  Any other thoughts?

Can it be setup like this where it is very close to the TV but sticking out fully?

I have a rather large collection of Sonos Connect:Amps driving ceiling speakers throughout my home and outdoor speakers.  The Home theater is currently using a traditional surround sound receiver and not on the Sonos network.  There is an existing center channel, sub and (4) ceiling speakers.  None on Sonos.I’d like to get everything in my home over to Sonos. Is it possible to set up a Beam as the center channel fromthe TV via VIA ARC and use (2) Gen 2 Connect:Amp’s for the front and rear surround ceiling speakers? Will the ceiling speakers be usable for normal whole house audio fill? Will I be able to pull the TV audio from the Beam as a source for Sonos units throughout the house so I can hear the game outside or in other rooms?

I can change the volume with my Samsung QN55 TV remote and my Xfinity remote but the Beam does not power off.

Hi all - I am planning my AV set up for rough wiring in a new build “great room” addition on a an old 1782 farmhouse and I need some advice. The room will be a half kitchen, half sitting area, with many windows/sliders on both North and South Walls. The ceiling is vaulted 14’ at peak, 8’ at the wall with 3 old timber tresses across and shiplap wood on the ceiling. The room is 18’ wide and 30’ long. At the sitting room end will be a small raised “hearth” with bookcases on either side of a Samsung Frame TV. Most of the time the TV will be in art mode in this room. But will be a handy space for a group to watch a movie. Plus we want music available. We are not too picky about great sound (I happily watch movies on my laptop). But we obviously want to be able to hear dialog etc. We really want the Frame to look like art most of time with occasional use of TV mode. Lots of natural light coming from the South windows so love the non-reflective nature of the Frame.Current plan is a Sonos Beam

Looking a slowly shifting to SONOS as part of a house move.If I get an ARC sound bar and an AMP can I set it up so the sub (B&W PV1) connected to the amp is used in conjunction with the sound bar for movies then also with 4 speakers connected to the amp for music?I’ve read about delay with the amp when used for movies - is this a big issue or can the delay be tuned on the amp?

I would like to purchase a Sonos Beam and would appreciate your response. My room has an elongated shape, the TV and bed are opposite each other on the long sides and at the same time not in the center of the room. That is, there is a little less than three meters between them. From the soundbar to one wall it will be less than a meter, and to the other it will be a little more than three meters. Since Beam has side firing speakers, wouldn't it turn out that the sound goes not to the side wall, but to the opposite one? Do you think it’s even possible to buy a soundbar with side firing speakers given this room configuration?

Any tricks for iPhone users with home theaters (player (gen2), 5 player (gen 2) and Sub (3 gen)) to stabilize this train wreck of an “upgraded” app?

Since Sonos has just launch the new Sonos Ace. My thought is what if Sonos use this as a new microphone to tune the Sonos home theatre like Sonos arc which achieve another alternative of true play on top of current iPhone true play feature.

I have a Beam gen1 with two One SL’s in a bedroom and enjoy it.  I have never converted my living room to Sonos but with the recent sale I’m considering it.The reason I never converted my main living room were:DTS:X & DTS-HD … I have a Sony X700 and still play a lot of discs that require codec’s Sonos still don’t support. I have a 2022 Sony OLED with only two HDMI 2.1 ports, one of them being the eARC.  That only leaves me with 3 HDMI’s and I have 5 devices/inputs total.  A passthrough port on a Sonos would be nice as I don’t want to deal with HDMI switchers, which is why I currently use a receiver.QuestionI’m considering getting a Beam v2 and two Era 300’s.  I know the Era 300’s are overkill for the Beam v2 but I read all about the AppleTV popping issue with the Arc.  The AppleTV 4K is my main streaming device and I don’t want an Arc.  The plan is I’d eventually replace the Beam v2 with their next flagship soundbar (Lasso?) when it is released that hopefully supports DTS:X/DTS-HD,

Hello,I am experiencing difficulties with the Trueplay calibration of my Sonos system. Here are the details of my setup and the issues I have encountered:**Configuration:** - Sonos Beam 2 - Two Era 300 configured in surround mode 2 iPhone used for calibration - Linksys Hydra Pro 6E router with repeater Linksys VELOP Pro 6E (disabled for testing) - All devices are updated to the latest firmware version**Issue encountered:**Individually, the Trueplay calibration works correctly on the Beam 2 and on each Era 300. However, when the Era 300 are configured in surround mode with the Beam 2, I am unable to start the Trueplay calibration.**Additional details:**- The Era 300 automatically connect to a WiFi network created by the Beam 2. I have attempted to disable the WiFi on the Beam 2 so that all devices connect to my main network, without success.- I have reset all devices multiple times and tried different network configurations (with and without repeater). The only thing I haven’t tried is c
