I was eating when I decided to turn off my sonos ace and when I turned them back on you would only hear on the right side however the noise cancellation and the left side buttons work perfectly as I try to restart and reset them but nothing works.
The Ace have a markedly better sound profile that my AirPods Max (AM); however the precision of the AM’s volume control, especially at the lowest volumes, is peerless. It is quite granular and decreases to the point of barely hearing sound. This allows me to read, write, reflect, or sleep without intrusion. The lowest volume level on the Ace headphones is far too intrusive for the quiet enjoyment of one's music during said activities, which is a real shame (and perhaps not a priority for Sonos given the recent app debacle). I wear ANC monitors to shut out not create distractions, so it pains me to say that I may end up returning these despite my deep appreciation of their sound profile.I would note that other OEMs (eg, Bose QC Ultra earphones and earbuds) have the same issue, but I expect better from a more expensive product. This feedback relates specifically to my use of the Ace headphones with my iPhone and iPad. I received and updated my Ace headphones today, which means that for me
Ace is grayed out in app. Any suggestions?
Hi there anyone have issues with the wear detection of Sonos Ace? was working great but starting a few day ago stop working even after resetting or turn off the device.doesn’t matter what I am using as an interface, audiobook, Spotify, YouTube music or Sonos radio.
Hi! Recently picked up the sonos ace and I’ve noticed some flaws….A really cool feature of the sonos ace ANC is how it turns off in low noise environments to reduce white noise. This is a great feature I think because I hate the white noise. However when the ANC kicks in, it sometimes makes a “pop” sound that can get a bit annoying. Is this normal for the headset? I notice it the most when I’m on my PC clicking the mouse, Also I’ve noticed a fair amount of clicking/poping sounds when moving around, the noises come from the hinge system as when I press on the headband the noises disappear. Very noticeable when running on a thread mil. Is this normal too? Both these issues are identical on both ears, which makes me think that it’s normal, just want to check if others have experienced the same :)Thanks for reading.
Why can’t we swap using a button on the headphones? It is an inconvenience to go find my phone, scroll to the Sonos app, wait for it to open and load, select the headphones, then push the swap button. Ridiculous. This is all not to mention that it is absurd that they created these and you can’t listen to them at the same time the Arc is playing. They should integrate into the Sonos WiFi Network and sync audio like any other Sonos device. We don’t need just another Bluetooth headphone device that looks like AirPod Max
My wife likes to watch TV at a much lower volume than I do. Due to my hearing loss, I bought the Sonos Ace headphones so that I can watch TV at a higher volume with her while using the Sonos Arc Ultra. Before purchasing Ace headphones, I asked my dealer this specific question. The tech responded positively saying that both the Ace and the Arc Ultra can simultaneously play the TV sound. After installing the Ace headphones, my dealer verified that Ace & Ultra Arc will not play sound at the same time. This is the main reason I bought the Sonos Ace headphones.I also bought a Move 2 wireless speaker. The Move 2 has the ability to play simultaneously with any sound group (Port, Ultra Arc etc.). It would seem that the same simultaneous capability of the Move 2 could be applied to Ace Headphones as well.Looking forward to a quick feature update from Sonos on this issue so I can begin using my Ace Headphones as intended.Thank you!
My sonos ace swap with sonos arc ultra doesn’t work.I’ve tried several time to uninstall and configure it using the app, but it doesn’t work!!!Anyone can help me?
Have just bought the Sonos Ace headphones .Been wanting them for ages but delayed my purchase, because of the App disaster .Now I've got them I'm very disappointed. So much talk for the last few years ,that my brain has got it all wrong .I thought the idea was to connect to your wireless system .You could then continue to listen ,whilst on the move ,in your home .The plus purchase ,they are well made, very comfortable, connect via blue tooth. But you've missed sales, in turning your back on your expensive Sonos system.what a big flaw in introducing headphones without that extra offering . Wake up Sonos ,listen to your customers.Alarm bells are ringing in the streaming box .I will have to take a closer and more attentive approach in what I experienced so far
Is there any plans for a Sonos Ace setting to disable play/pause/volume control beeps? It seems like a good idea based on the comments made in a bunch of reviews and some of the posts in this forum.Aside from a house full of Sonos equipment I’m an Apple user in general. I feel like this is the kind of detail that wouldn’t be overlooked by them. Loving the headphones in general, as someone who got tired of waiting for proper APM 2’s. I think just this setting to disable beeps and the whole lower volume level playing issue and they’re pretty much perfect.I know you can do it Sonos! 🙌🏻
Controls' volume is absurdly loud on sonos ace headphones, e.g. volume up/down, pause/resume, switching noise modes. I was very surprised that control notification sounds do not scale with the volume, and stay very loud at all times. Is there any way to either scale or lower them?
I noticed that whenever I use the controls on the Sonos Ace, whether it be toggling between the different ANC modes or simply just lowering the volume, the sound cues it makes are quite noticeable and very loud which gets very annoying after a while, especially those with sensitive ears. Also I like listening to music as low volumes due to my tinnitus, but the Sonos Ace doesn’t go low enough compared to other headphones like the AirPods Max. It would be really cool if some of these small features can be implemented, I know its not a major change, but it feels like a quality of life update. Thanks for reading!
It is okay I found it.
Will there be further improvements to the EQ settings of the Sonos Ace? Perhaps more customization including bass and treble? Also will there be any on headphone dolby atmospheres/Spatial Audio like the AirPods Max?
Depuis peu je n arrive plus à écouter la tv avec mon casque sonos ace alors que tous les autres services marchent j'ai presque tout essayer sans succès jusqu'à maintenant Merci par avance pour votre aide
If I plug my headphones into my PC, I can hear music coming through my music library. However, the songs from my music library transferred to Sonos only played through my speakers. I want to know how I can listen to my Sonos tunes through headphones on my Sonos app.Do I have to purchase special headphones for this purpose? I already have a set of wired Sennheiser earbud headphones that plug directly into the 3.5 mm jack connection on my PC. Will these not work when listening to Sonos tracks? I have 2 rooms that have Sonos equipment in them. However, it is only one room. I want to use headphones for. In that room, I Have a Sonos Bar, 2 Sonos Play Ones and a Sonos Sub.When playing a Sonos list with the cross-fade on, each track will mingle into the next track with no pausing between the previous tracks, stopping first. Is there a way I can listen to Sonos through headphones and listen to a Sonos list with the cross-fade on? If so, how can I make this happen? I should point out I am disab
A feature of the Sonos Ace is “Multipoint”, when I enable this in the App, it says “Connect 2 Bluetooth devices and easily switch between them”I have connected two devices, mobile phone and BT transmitter.I can’t find a way to switch between them? Is there a secret button press or similar that I don’t know about?
After buying a Sonos system & upgrading my soundbar to a Arc Ultra I found restrictions with being able to use my Bose headphones with my LG Tv, due to hdmi setting on the tv defaulting back to the Sonos hdmi arc output, I did find a work around but this isn’t how a system that you paid high dollars for that should work flawlessly with all your devices. After contacting both Sonos & LG Electronics I had no joy, they both palmed me off to each other to rectify the problem.I bit the bullet & thinking buying the Sonos Ace will be completely compatible, they will be happy as they have made a sale, I would have a flawlessly working set of headphones that works without any problems.Alas, I was wrong, the volume when listening to the TV is way too low, I’m hard of hearing, I wear hearing aids, I wanted the headphones to work equally as my Bose, JBL headphones in volume, unfortunately there’s no setting that allows you to raise the volume, so I just shelled out a large chunk of cas
My Sonos Ace (Headphones) are connected to my iPhone, but I'm not getting any sound. They show as connected, and I’ve updated them in the Sonos app and tried disconnecting and reconnecting several times. However, they work fine when connected to my laptop for Teams calls.Does anyone have any suggestions? Could it be related to the latest Apple update?

I’m enjoying the TV audio swap feature - but when I swap back and forth - the volume on both the headphones and the Beam always reset to some sort of predeterminded default volume setting - 60 for Ace, 15 for Beam. There doesn’t appear to be an app setting to control this, and they don’t stick to the previous settings. Am I mising something? I hope they update the app to support this someday.-Mark
I've noticed that the 'PPreviousand next Song' button on Sonos Ace isn't working. It doesn't respond when I try to use it. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and are there any solutions or workarounds? Thanks in advance for your help!"
I would like to find out regarding Sonos Ace, how many Sonos Ace headphones can be added at the same to the system while watching a movie if more than one person wants to enjoy a movie in stealth mode ..?
Do Sonos is working on another material to be less warm on the ear , to wear longer and be able to wear at gym. Would love to be able to swap to something like a mesh or mesh fabric or something that is wick proof . I have one of these swappable on my Meta headset and it’s awesome for high energy game . I will not mind loosing a little bit of sound quality for more comfort during warm season and while doing workout at the gym. I just received a brand new pair of Sonos Ace headphones. I share an office with a colleague, during meetings on TEAMS my other colleagues have said that they do not hear me properly and rather hear my colleague who is in the background on a different call. Does anyone know how to fix this? So far i am thinking that Sonos Ace is not suitable for a shared or open office environment. . .
