Sonos Ace volume low even at 100% volume on Arc

I am going to put in a call to Sonos next week when I can. Just received my Sonos ace and when connecting to Sonos Arc volume is still very low even at 100%. Have seen all the discussions on how to may fix but still no resolution even after 8 months+ from release. This is shocking.. think I will be returning mine if this cannot be resolved quickly. Took advantage of the 30% off offer but now think this was too good to be true. Surely the tv swap should be flawless being the Sonos ace main USP!

am I missing anything to resolve this issue?
thanks

I don’t seem to have this issue.  Have you updated your ACE within the SONOS app?

Yes, followed all tips from previous forums and updated all Sonos devices to the most recent. Will speak with Sonos and see what they say.

You probably already know, and have tried this, but the ACE does not update with the rest of the system hardware.  There is a dedicated button in the app specifically for updating the ACE.

I totally agree with you, Maximum volume is low compared to my AirPods Max.

When I Watch a movie, I want a more impressive sound…! Hey Sonos, those headphones are designed to be a « personnal home cinema sound » …! Give us more feelings, more « Wooooow » !!

I’m pretty sure you can do this with updates !

I agree. Sonos Ace volume low even at 100% volume with Sonos Arc. TV swap with this low volume is not usable. But that's exactly why I bought the Sonos Ace.

I’ve had multiple support tickets about the low max volume in the ace/arc swap. I finally got this blowoff message.  All I know is that with other headphones I get much better max volume.

Regarding the volume level when using the Swap feature between the Sonos Ace and the Arc, our engineering team has confirmed that this behaviour is expected. The volume level after a Swap can vary depending on the audio format being played, and also can differ from listening using the Bluetooth feature. This is designed to ensure a consistent and safe listening experience across different setups.

In your case, with the Sonos Arc, the observed volume difference during a Swap is within the expected range and not indicative of a fault or software issue.

Let me add one more thing. My expectation is that the Ace in Arc swap mode would give me a near equivalent volume of my regular setup of an Arc, Sub and 2 rear Play:1’s.  It’s nowhere close.
