Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my web-based Morse code tone generator when listening through Sonos headphones and wanted to see if anyone here has experienced something similar. The website generates real-time audio tones in the browser using the Web Audio API. On standard wired headphones connected directly to my PC, everything works perfectly. However, when routing audio through Sonos (either via Bluetooth connection or through a Sonos device using line-in), I’m experiencing noticeable delay and, in some cases, complete silence after a few seconds. The main problem is latency. Morse code timing is very sensitive, and even small delays between dots and dashes make it hard to use for practice. With Sonos headphones, there seems to be a buffering delay that shifts the timing, even though the visual output on the site remains accurate. Occasionally, the audio starts correctly but then cuts out while the browser still shows the signal playing. For context, I’ve tested this in Chrome
Hi all, I recently got a new pair of Sonos Ace. I love the listening experience, however, I have received complaints about the sound quality of the mic when in calls. Given the feedback, I decided to test record a voice memo, (iPhone 16 pro) with both the Sonos Ace and the AirPods Pro 2. the results are in and they are drastic. The Sonos ace produces a Tin and thin like recording (both in Aware and NC mode) while the AirPods Pro 2 come in bassy and super clear. My question: Is there a way to improve the mic quality of the Ace or is this headset specifically designed to hear sound only and has mic call as a secondary feature?
I have a Sonos Beam 2 and Ace Headphones.I have set up the headphones for audio swap and it works fine whether through the app or via the swap audio button on the headset. The problem I have is when trying to set up TrueCinema. I get it started and the Beam 2 emits the sounds so it can do it’s spatial awareness set up. I then get the spinning circle on my phone that just goes on and on and doesn’t end.I have tried numerous “fixes” from Google etc.Reset and re configured my Beam and Headphones plus reloaded the app after rebooting my phone. Also switched everything off (including my Router) and started from scratch to no avail.I have tried it with TV output on, Phone bluetooth on (with Ace paired and without but still keep getting the circle and “wait” message
Kan man få ljud i både yttre högtalare och i hörlurarna?I så fall hur?
Received SONY headphones for Xmas. I am unable to connect to my SONOS system. Please tell me there is a way to connect.
HelloI have just purchased a pair of Ace headphones to go alongside my beam (gen 1 with 2x play 3’s and sub mini).I find that the volume on the headphones is very low and I end up listening to both music and swap at almost 100% but I read elsewhere that some people can’t listen above 20% as it’s too loud, i clearly have something wrong. The headphones are running the latest firmware as are the beam and subsequent hardware. I listen to music through Amazon Music on an iPhone 16 pro max. I have unchecked the sound check button in the music settings and I have unchecked the limit max volume in the phones sound and haptics settings. I have also reset the Ace.Are there any settings I have missed?I struggle to talk on the phone due to a mental illness so without phoning I don’t know how to get this resolved? Is there an online chat? hoping someone can sort this.many thanksMark
I’ve seen various posts stating that the Sonos Ace ANC exhibits various popping or crackling effects as a result of nearby high-pitched sounds like knives, forks and other cutlery banging together.Examples:https://en.community.sonos.com/headphones-229145/sonos-ace-crackling-static-popping-with-certain-sounds-issue-with-anc-6927617 https://en.community.sonos.com/headphones-229146/sonos-ace-feedback-over-bumps-6897038Has this been fixed?I understand the newer Firmware has greatly improved the ANC, but I can’t find a clear conclusion on this topic.
Can two headphone users listen to the same TV at the same time?
Hello,I am using Sonos Ace in my business PC for business calls through teams.I am experiencing issues when I am in a teams meeting, I lose WIFI connectivity and Bluetooth connectivity. The network card in device manager has a caution triangle indicator and I need to re-install the driver every time. This happens 2-3 times every day.Could you please advice for troubleshooting this issue?I do not know if it is a driver issue from Intel but I do not have any problems when I connect my previous Bluetooth headphones
Hi Sonos team,I wanted to send a quick note now that I’ve switched to the Sonos Ace — and first, sincerely, congratulations on such an impressive first-generation headphone. The comfort, noise canceling, sound quality, build, and overall polish are excellent. I’m genuinely pleased I made the jump. There is, however, one small UX feature that I deeply miss from my previous Jabra headphones, and it’s the only thing keeping the Ace from feeling perfect for me:Press-and-hold Volume Up → Skip to Next TrackPress-and-hold Volume Down → Skip to Previous TrackThis gesture became second nature over years of use. It’s intuitive, requires almost no precision, and works reliably in every situation — while walking, traveling, or listening in bed. I never had to think about it.By contrast, the traditional double- and triple-tap method, while familiar, feels clunkier and much less reliable in practice. A double-tap can sometimes be misregistered, and a triple-tap — especially on over-ear headphones — i
As the title says. When using a wired (usb c - c the one that came with the product) the rocker button on the headphones will only turn the volume down. I can turn the volume up and down with the phones (Pixel 10 pro) physical buttons and also when using Bluetooth. But can't raise volume when wired. Anyone else?
If I turn off the noise control modes, it's like all the bass gets cut out of any music I'm listening to, and it sounds much, much worse. Is this standard behaviour? I'm wondering why I'm forced to use a Noise Control mode to get decent sounding music, even in a quiet environment.
I have the followingPro-Ject Phono Box S3 B (Black) Pro-Ject Maia S3 (Black)I would like to link up with my Sonos Ace headphones.however when I tried using the 6.5 to 3.5 adapter they did not workplease advice on a compatible adapter or a 6.5 to usb-c cable
Noticed that when using tv audio swap the Dolby Atmos music is compressed greatly. Will there be an update to maybe like; uncompress it I guess
Unfortunately I cannot respond to other posts where people were having this issue, so I am just writing this forum post here in hopes that people come across it from their search engines. If you are experiencing your microphone on your MacOS device decreasing in volume and then coming back up again, this appears to only be impacting M3 and M4 devices as they share the same Bluetooth adapter. Don’t ask me why, I haven’t got a clue. The fix is as belowVisit chrome://flags (or edge://flags if you’re using Edge) and do the following:Locate Allow WebRTC to adjust the input volume Set this to Disabled Select Relaunch in the bottom right corner Other things to note:Even if your microphone is not in active use by Chrome/Edge, if you use Slack, Zoom, Teams, Webex it will still reduce the volume. Simply having Chrome/Edge open seems to trigger this behaviour This doesn’t appear to be an issue with non Chromium based browsers It would be great to understand if this does actually fix your issue, s
I have just purchased the Sonos Ace headphones obviously foolishly thinking I would be able to use the app the stream my music library directly to my headphones thereby being able to listen to my music library through my headphones and controlling music selection via the Sonos app.this is apparently something that is not possible.considering the price point of the headphones and the claims of quality and functionality I feel this is a major flaw in the headphones design and in the marketing by Sonos.i may as well just but some other quality Bluetooth headphones a a cheaper price.i even tried playing my library through my Sonos soundbar and then doing the swap to the headphones but this is apparently not possible either. This is really disappointing.i love my Sonos system but this is one element that is a bit of a let down. Will Sonos fix this flaw or do I just go back to relying on Bluetooth strategies and work around for playing my music.regards
Hi, I love my Sonos Ace, and use them for more than a year on a daily basis, but I just find out that the ear cushions can be damaged on the side by normal use and wondering if there is any possible mantainance product I can buy or use to maybe lubricate them and will not start deteriorating since I plan to have them and keep using them for a long time. Maybe its the weather, or maybe sometimes when I use them during summer, my they are humid when I take them off, but have had taken care of this by using a dry towel to clean them before returning them to their case, and sometimes leave the case open until this have completely dry. Any suggestions or advises will be appreciatedThank You!
I’m really interested in getting myself a pair of Sonos Ace headphones for use with my TV at night so not to disturb the rest of the family. What appeals to me is tying out the TV Audio Swap feature to get some surround effects but I don’t own any of the supporting soundbars (Yet). So, here's what I’m think would be a great new Sonos product idea to add to the Ace Headphones. A new TV Audio Swap box like an Amp/Port that emulates the decoding of the surround like a soundbar would (Ie Beam Gen2) and sends it to the headphones but without the speakers. What do you think?
My Sonos Ace Headphones will not connect consistently with the App on my brand new Oppo Reno13 phone. I have retuned 2 previous pairs of headphones with the same problem. The current (3rd pair) at least connected with my Oppo to allow an update but now will not reconnect. Bluetooth pairing works fine, it’s just the app which I unfortunately need to listen to Spatial Audio (Atmos) through my streaming service. It is extremely frustrating as Spatial audio is the primary reason I bought the headphones. I have the same problem on my old Oppo phone and also a really old Samsung S9. I have tried everything suggested in similar threads such as re-pairing, factory resetting the headphones, clearing the cache, rebooting the phone, tried Sonos support 4 separate times and all combinations of the above. The only thing I haven’t been able to do is connecting via an iOS device as I don’t have access. I cannot believe that I am alone in this problem with Android but all I can find online is people w
Hello!I red here that it is impossible to connect my new Sonos Ace headphones to my Sonos system to hear music via my project T1 SB turntable connected to Sonos Port. T1 SB has no Bluetooth. The only possibility would be to buy an other turntable with Bluetooth. That’s a pitty. Do anybody know, if Sonos will develop a new function to make this work in future? Br, Frank
Hello,While i was listening to music today, there all of a sudden was some popping noises on the right side of my headphones, that lasted for like 2 seconds, went quiet and then came a white noise that started out quiet but became louder over time. I searched online what it could be, and Google gave an answer that it could be that I didn't update my Sonos Ace (same answer here), but didn't work for me at all. Nothing changed after I updated it.It seems to always start out quiet and gradually gets louder, until it becomes unbearable to listen to.
When I enter the Sonos application and am connected to my headphones via USB C cable, the song shown in the playback is not the correct one.The title of the last song played through Bluetooth appearsYou can interact with the controls, but I insist that the song that is played is not displayed correctlyAny Solution?
I use the USBC cable connected to my iPhone to listen to lossless music on my Sonos ACE. An option to turn off charging while listening to music would help conserve the battery of the phone and headphones Does this feature exist? If it doesn't exist, SONOS should create it. It would be very valuable
The volume is very low using USBc USBc connection on the iPhone. The volume of the Sonos app and the volume of Apple Music are not synchronized. I can turn up the volume in the Sonos app. This is very strange. Some solution?
Hi there,Just acquired a SONOS ACE. Great so far. Except when I tried to connect it to my TV settings. I have a Samsung the Frame 2022. Apparently my new ACE isn’t compatible with my “old” 2014 PlayBar... Very sad. But worth, I don’t see how to connect ACE directly to my recent TV The Frame… anyone knows how to solve that?
