Got myself the Ace recently, delightful headphones to own, but I've had nothing but trouble connecting to my PC. 7800x3d ASUS Prime B650M-A Wi-Fi II DDR5 if that helps.First and foremost, my phone (flip 5) pairs seamlessly. OOB and currently. On my computer, it detected it quickly but there was a tonne of drop-out, lag, and static. In attempting to resolve the issue I restarted my pc a few times and had to repair the headphones each time. Multi-point made no difference. They were working perfectly for 20 minutes, restarted my computer to test reconnecting again. Couldn't reconnect, couldn't remove, couldn't re-pair. Factory reset the headphones, fiddled with bluetooth drivers, deleted a few in the hidden tab, it connected again. Switched audio back to phone, same issue.Repeat steps, doesn't find headphones. Disable and re-enable bluetooth drivers, 404. Re-install drivers, 404. Currently moving onto slightly more nuclear options: windows repair, full power-down, re-install windows(keep f
What should the behavior of the status light be on the Sonos Ace headphones? My understanding is that when you aren’t wearing them you should see the status light illuminated. If so, that is not what I am currently observing. The only time I see the status light is when I turn on or off the headphones. It will turn blue for a second. Or when I have it plugged in to charge it shows a solid orange light (only when device is turned off). I have tried leaving the headphones on and forgetting the bluetooth connection to my phone. Should this not show a solid white light? Again, this is not what I am experiencing.
Having serious issues connecting Ace to the App on my Pixel 7 pro. The App cannot find them at all. Here’s what i have tried so faruninstall re-install app factory reset of headphones installing the app on my work phone (iphone) and then connecting Ace. This worked fine, and the headphones are recognised there. But the App on my Pixel 7 Pro still won’t find them, even after repeating combinations of steps 1 & 2 above together with switching off bluebutooth on the iphone. tried going through the suggestions on a previous thread is there any way to actually have the Sonos App on Android recognise the Ace? If i can’t use them in combination with the Arc for movies/games or adjust the basic EQ I might just return them.
Hello,i have issues using my Sonos ACE with the ARC.Before the newest ACE Update, i saw the TV Swap feature in the Configuration Menu. Since the Update, this feature is gone and i cannot use it anymore even if i long press the Button. Nothing happends. I already tried to factory reset my ARC and the ACE, restartet both and tried to use different inputs, but nothing helps. I use the Latest App Update and firmware updates. Also i have intefering noise on the right earbud when i pause the music playback. Is anyone dealing with same problems?
Hey Sonos,I use my Sonos ace for my Mac at work . After using it for about 30 min / 1 hour suddenly it won't detect any microphone input any longer. E.g. I can still hear phone / video calls but I can no longer say anything. This is pretty annoying, can you help?
My headphones are only providing noise on the right hand side. It was fine, then after charging, the left had side completely dropped out. Another frustrating Sonos experience.Edit: - And now it is back to normal!!
I love my new Sonos Ace headphones, but I primarily use headphones to listen to podcasts. Rather than a skip forward one track or back one track, I’d like to use those functions to skip forward 30 seconds, or back 15 seconds. I wish I could put it in, like podcast mode or music mode to change that functionality.
Just got the new Sonos Ace…. works great, looks good, sounds amazing. Problem is the App shows that Sonos Aces needs an update and every time I attempt this it gets to 100% then fails to update. Fed up with pressing the “Try Again” button. Anyone else experiencing this issue.
I just received my Sonos Ace yesterday and noticed that the headband had a subtle creak whenever I pull them apart to wear. Does anyone notice anything similar? I'm wondering if this is expected since the headband is plastic or if I should consider an exchange. Otherwise, it's a great set of headphones. Thanks!
I understand that the Sonos Ace can connect to 2 Bluetooth devices at once after enabling multipoint in the app. However, can it remember more BT connections so that you can pair it with a few other devices but connect only to 2 at a time/ as an example the nose qc ultra headphones remember 8 connections, but connects to 2 at a time and you can select these devices either in the app or by reconnecting these devices through Bluetooth settings. I was wondering if the Ace do that as well thanks
I have Sonos Arc connected to Apple TV 4K to LG CX OLED TV. Multipoint is disabled. Watching Dark Matter. I am getting distortions on Sonos Ace when I hand it off sound from Arc. Like a short buzzing spike once a while. Anyone else hearing that?I updated the iOS app to the latest as well us the rest of the equipment.Sonos Arc is connected via ethernet.Bad unit?
Can you take a phone call while connected to your arc with the ace? Simultaneously watch the tv while taking a phone call?
I personally was not impressed with the OEM case for the Sonos Ace. I’d like to share with you the case I prefer that was designed for Apple’s AirPods Max (of which I own a set); but works quite well with the Ace headset. Speaking of Apple’s AirPods Max OEM case...that IMO was a joke and ½ 😂.Getting back on point...the case I prefer is a bit on the pricy side at $99 made by WaterField Designs in San Francisco, CA. Materials are Leather and Ballistic Nylon with moisture proof zippers. As you will see my choice is black leather; but for the more adventureous there is a white leather option. It’s not as compact as the Sonos Ace OEM case which may be a problem for some. However, IMO its AIO nautilus chambered design is a more complete package for protection, travel and/or EDC. Below are pictures that show a comparison to the Sonos OEM case for the Ace and features of the case I prefer. Enjoy!Side by Side Comparison Height Comparison Volume Comparison Interior Fit and Battery Compartment
Just FYI…The Ace charges at about 5 watts and gradually drops as it reaches a full charge. The cable being used is Baseus PD 100W USB-C to USB-C cable ($15.19) with a 128W GaN PD charger by Pxwaxpy ($28.95). Both products are on Amazon.
So I got the Ace yesterday and have been mostly happy, except for TV swap. It seems to have pretty significant, thought intermittent cutout. Is anyone else experiencing this or does anyone have solutions? It’s also like a digital snap/crackle that occurs intermittently.Love them otherwise, but these will have to be returned if there’s no fix. It’s too distracting and certainly not something I’d expect at this price point. Already tried removing swap and hard resetting ace.
My ACE is recognized in Windows 11 via Bluetooth (after a while) but when I want to listen to some audio I just get some sparks of sound but no fluid audio. Also the microphone isn’t working properly. Is this only occurring with me or is this just a problem on my PC?Via cable with 3,2 jack sound is oke but the microphone doesn’t work at all.The update has no effect. What is the problem here?Have latest Windows 11 update installed.Tried ACE also on my iMac with bluetooth. No problems at all!
I thought they will update the issue with the volume , but still have to move volume up really high up till 80 at leat to hear properly that is when swapping over the arc
Folks; I received my Sonos Ace headphones on Thursday June 6th, got them paired with my phone and laptop, swapped audio from my Sonos Arc (it worked some of the time). I’m traveling internationally and used the Ace headphones in the airport and on a 10+ hour flight without issue. Then charged them overnight with a USB-C PD charger (ChargeASAP Zeus) and this morning it appears the headphones are dead :-(They are capable of doing ‘something’ as the LED will turn solid blue, and it will turn off again. However theres no sound from the headphones (not even the turn on/off tones), they will not connect to any of the previously paired Bluetooth devices, they will not enter BT pairing mode, and they will not even factory reset. On occasion using a lower power charging cable I can bet a solid amber and solid green light as some indication of charging activity but other than that it’s a solid blue LED and they are non-functional.Unfortunately I didn’t bring along extra headphones on this trip a
Considering people are saying their units are bricked, has anyone determined what brand/watt works well with the Ace? I’m considering just returning them as soon as they arrive. Really think it’s insane that this is even an issue.
I really was excited about the product, since the other products of sonos family are really great and all as far as audio quality. I'm not happy with the sound experience. ITS NOT ALL ABOUT NOISE CANCELATION, YOU FORGOT THE AUDIO QUALITY. expected more. I had all the samsung buds, Sony over the ear and In ear, beats in ear buds ... and I wanted something to beat all of them as far as quality, richness of the sound, how more loud can they get, make me start jumping and dance and I put all my expectations on a first time headphones product of sonos. I had no problem updating from my phone. Happened fast. Less then 10 min . It would be nice to have a usb c adapter to that aux cable you put in the box!Android app and EQ need improvement, a lot . I LOVE MUSIC , I LOVE RHYTHM, I LOVE GETTING LOST IN MY MUSIC , I LOVE MESSING AROUND WITH MY EQ OF THE MUSIC , BE ABLE TO MAKE IT LOUDER and that's not a way to achieve with Ace . Apologies, Sonos for the comment but .... Thank you!Edit add: w
Hi, I would love to buy the new ACE to complete my Sonos collection but because wearing headset all day long for 1.5 years during Covid 19 I cannot stand a band over my head anymore. Did you think on making ACE as well with a neckband?
Hi, After ACE latest firmware 2.9.3 update, the right button of noise cancellation mode stop functioning.Modify noise cancellation mode from the app still working. Anyone notice same issue?
I recently purchased a Sonos Ace headphone. I was very impressed with the look and the comfort when wearing them. They look premium and feel premium to me. Following the instructions from the app I updated them before use. All was good! I left the EQ at zero then played music from my phone (S24 Ultra). Now, at this point, I should mention that I listen to orchestral music, both classical and movie! The phone EQ and the music app EQ, were both switched off, so it was only the Sonos app EQ that was left on. I then played some music. I was expecting to be blown away with the sound and clarity, which I read about on 5 star reviews, and heard about from Sonos themselves. But what I got instead sounded tinny and distorted and it still does. What I want to know is: Are my headphones a faulty pair? Is this due to a software issue that can be corrected with an update? Is it a hardware problem? And finally, and most importantly, do others who have purchased the Sonos Ace have the same problem wi
HelloJust bought the Sonos ace and I’m quite disappointed, there is no sound when I switch off and on and also when I press the noise control button; music play and all functions works but I still have this problem and Sonos assistance service at the moment is not able to help. anybody have the same problem and can help me? I’ve already tried to pair unpair reset and so on many times but nothing … problem still there
Presently the announced Sonos Ace is missing the most important feature - the one that separates Sonos from other companies. Sonos Ace as announce cannot work as a zone player. I would have bought two. Presently I have not interest.
