Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I realize that there have been multiple prior posts on the subject of Amazon Music not updating on the Sonos app. But none have been at all recent, at least that I was able to find. My problem is simple yet frustrating: No matter how many times I add an album from Amazon Music it never appears in the Sonos app no matter how long I wait.  I have signed in and out of Amazon Music.  No luck.  I have rebooted multiple times. No luck. I have refreshed the Sonos app. No luck. Now, I realize that this may be exclusively an Amazon issue, with Sonos as a hapless victim. But given all the issues with the Sonos app, I suspect not. All of my earlier Amazon Music choices are present and working. Only anything new does not populate. Any advice or suggestions would be most appreciated. With thanks. Matteo  

I have the arc ultra and had a beam gen2 until last week. I have the impression that the bass are Les powerful on the art than with the beam dispute the presence of the built in sub inside the arc ultra. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance for answering my question.

Hello all,I recently received a new in boxes Roam SL that I've struggled to get it working. I'm not sure which is the most critical issue that is contributing to being unusable.Here goes:First step plugged it in and starts to come to life with first seeing the batter light flashing then after about 15 seconds it goes out and the above the Sonos logo begins to flash.Was able to get it added to my network and system but then needs an update which fails and produces error 1002. Btw to get it added I had to manually enter the code on the bottom of the unit since it never made a sound.I tried multiple things like hot-spotting from a phone to a tablet with no luck.I tried plugging it into my PC via USB and got all the way to needing an update, which also failed but different error code 888 which is low battery.  I can see all of the info for the unit on my PC such as serial number firmware number and all related info aswell as being able to see it through file explorer.I believe the battery

I spent 1 hour 15 minutes with a customer service rep. The system will not update from Iphone or windows app. Very frustrating that we have been without Sonos for over 2 weeks. 

I have two Move 2 speakers and the sound connection has been an issue from day one.When playing music from my phone via Bluetooth, the sound randomly cuts in and out for either or both speakers, sometimes there's no sound at all.For my projector, it got so bad with the sound not working at all most of the time, that I got a cable to connect to one of the speakers. This worked the first time, now not anymore.I have tried unpairing and re-pairing, made sure they are connected via 5Ghz WiFi, even reset the speakers multiple times.This is extremely frustrating, especially given the price of these speakers.

hi there,I am looking for some help in connecting my old Blu-ray player (Sony BDP-S570)My current setup is Sonos Arc HDMI connects to LG C2 TV eARC.The Blu-ray player HDMI connects to LG C2 HDMI. I was expecting this connection to carry both video and audio signals however I am only getting video, no sound.Next, I kept the Blu-ray HDMI connected to the LG C2 TV HDMI for video and added a digital optical audio toslink from Blu-ray player to the Sonos amp using the Sonos optical HDMI adapter for audio. however, that also did not produce any sound.I am running out of ideas... am I not thinking about this right? thanks for your help.

I’ve had a Sonos Beam 1st Gen and several other Sonos speakers for a few years; they worked fine with both the Sonos App and Airplay. For the last few months, however, while all my Sonos speakers continue to work fine with the App, and my other Sonos speakers continue to work fine with Airplay, the Beam no longer works with Airplay. I’ve power-cycled the Beam and restarted my router several times, but the Beam still doesn’t work. Everything has been updated to the latest versions. I’ve noted that there have been several other posts with the same issue in these forums. Is there anything else I can try?

On opening the controller this afternoon after non use for a couple of days the controller window opens but its empty, Windows 11 with latest updates.  I did a system restore to before the latest update thinking it may be the culprit but its not that.  I deleted the app and reinstalled to no avail. It works fine on my Windows 10 machine, tablet and phone. Any thoughts anyone?  

Love your products, I have a 5.1 system that I would love to have it remember where it was when I turnoff the TV and start playing the playlist already on the system. Also it would be great if the speakers could remember their playlist after a power outage (which I experience too often) or a default playlist on boot up.

Hello community,  I have a playbar witch wouldn't connect. TPS54226 blowen powerlane completely shorted. Pin 9 on TPS54226 is shortet to ground. Pin 9 is alsow shorter to Pin 1, 5, 8 and 10. Don't know if this right. After further investigation I found a ic with a "big" hole in it. Near the cpu.  U55-Markings: IDT6V4919 8APGG 1507T A58636FMY Does any one have a idea were i can buy this part ? 

I have a Sonos play 5 gen 2 speaker that I love but recently I haven’t been able to connect it to my app with out the use of a Ethernet cable. The speaker is outside of warranty so is there something you can do or am I out of luck.

Hi, I'm joining the club of people whose Sonos app doesn't play podcasts on Youtube Music. This issue is also valid on Android12 (S10e), Android15 (P9P), Apple IOS18.3 (iPhone14) and Windows10. I’m facing two problems:1) the new episodes list is empty, but only on mobile apps (Android +IOS),2) when I start a podcast episode in the podcast's library, it reads through the entire library and then says it can't play any of them randomly. This is also true for the Windows 10 version.If I uninstall and reconnect to the YT Music service, it's fine for about 1-2 days, then wrong again.Any solutions for that?Thank you.Ferenc

I have classic fm live station set as my alarm. When it’s via Tune In it works - but announces ‘welcome to tune in’ every time. When I use global player, there is no annoying announcement but the alarm doesn’t work. Why doesn’t the alarm work with global player?

I have an old system that has been working fine until recently. The system comprises a Play:1, a Play:3 and a Connect, connected to a HiFi.I have a music library on a Synology NAS.The Connect is hard wired (ethernet), while the Play:1 and Play:3 connect wirelessly.I can play from my library to the Play:1 and Play:3 without a problems. Radio also works just fine.The Connect however will not play from the library. It gives the error:     Unable to play “song file name”, access to “server share” is denied.The same song will play on the Play devices just fine, so I don’t think there is a Synology rights issue. However, the Connect will happily play Radio streams, which also suggests that the Connect is working fine.Any idea what the problem with the Connect and library might be?Many Thanks,Neil Attard

I wish to be able to change what time my alarms are set to and it would be super convenient if I could just have a widget which displayed the alarm times set on my Sonos App.I am aware there is a 3rd party app which allows this due to using shortcuts but the price is far too high and I feel this feature ought to be in the native app.Currently I have to go through a few submenus just to get to the alarms (I change them everyday as I have a job whereby I have a different start time each day which is dictated to by my boss so its always last minute notice).

Yieaouwl! I usually just turn it off and on again, sometimes I have to hard reset it and re-add it to my system, yet now I'm attempting to re-add it through my iPhone iOS app, it does show up as an option, yet I'm being prompted with a message in Portuguese-Brasil demanding me to login as the system's owner, although I'm already logged in as the owner. Router is usually fine and with a stable connection. Feeling lost and confused. Need help. What should I do? Thanks and all the best, a.k.a. _wonderwiz

In the long list of problems with the app, this is the top one for me right now. When I use the search function, I get the below message. When I click on it it says everything is functioning (and it is) but I can only search in apple music. If I go to my library to search directly there it crashes and brings me back to the main menu. This means, since I don’t have the letter index on my album list anymore, that I basically can’t listen to any record I own that begins with anything after like E without scrolling for fifteen minutes. Any way to fix this?   

So I posted This post a while ago. I tried a bunch of things, including that which was suggested in connecting a speaker to the mesh directly and none of these thing helped me keep a stable connection with a couple of the speakers.  I did further looking around and eventually found something that mentioned changing the wifi 2.4Ghz channel from “auto” to 11 and since then it's been rock solid.  Can't remember where I found the answer but if all else fails try that. There was no way I was turfing my mesh network. That seemed a silly option from the start. 

Hi all,I have bought a Sonos Amp which will be connected a total of 6 Sonos in-ceiling speakers: 4 x 8” in the living room, 1 x 6.5” in the kitchen and 1 x 6.5” in the bathroom (all playing in mono obviously).I need to be able to select (= switch on/of) 3 zones: living room, kitchen and bathroom. Since Sonos does not support zones, I am thinkng of using the Taga Harmony TS-4 (see here) as a speaker selector. What worries me, since I am not very knowledgeable in the subject, is if there will be any issues regarding currents & impedance that could destroy the Sonos Amp, speaker or even the Taga Harmony! Could you please advise me regarding this issue?Thank you!

The end of the ‘old’ Tunein has terminated the custom radio stream for a too long time already. There is a very cumbersome way to get it back, but it requires far too many steps and the custom links are sent to the favortires where they cannot be edited.The feature still exists in the Windows App but it is useless.I went to Sonos because of this feature and I’m not the only one in this case.So, WHEN WILL YOU HAVE AN ELEGANT SOLUTION to the infuriating lack of this feature???
