Hi there, I wish to report a reproducible bug that has been affecting many other users of Sonos and Plex for at least half a year: Steps to ReproduceLaunch the Sonos App (iOS, v80.21.6) Search for a song within the Plex service.Expected ResultsSongs are visible and can be played.Observed ResultsSongs are greyed out and cannot be played.  Other types of Plex results (Artists, Albums, etc) are visible and selectable with no issues.  See screenshots.Important NotesSearch works as expected using the web controller at play.sonos.com - see screenshot Logically, therefore, this is an issue with Sonos and not with Plex. DId I just waste $366 on a Sonos Move 2? I have a Port, Playbar and a Move 1 all working seamlessly. Products are rather pricy so I buy something when I can and decided to get the better sounding Move 2 and just keep the Move 1 in my bedroom. I just got the Move 2 today and it installed perfectly, it loads the playlist off my drive connected to the router like it should, but when I try to play anything from that drive I get an “Access Denied” error with no explanation of how to fix it. This is where I ALWAYS play my music from and it works fine on all other devices. If I can’t play music from my external drive on my Move 2, should I just return it? If it does not play that music, it’s worthless to me.

Have app loaded on Windows an Android. Using Amazon Unlimited and until last 7 days no problem. In My Music section of  Amazon Music Services if I chose Albums I get list of albums but when I click on individual album therein I only get image and not list of tracks to play. If i press on sub-menu and press play now I get error message. However all tracks are there if I access ‘Tracks’ rather thank ‘Albums’ I have not got over 500 tracks and have tried both delisting and readding Amazon to services. Any advice appreciated

Hi, I've just updated my router and cannot find any of my play ones. Even when I wore the router to the speaker. Is this a software issue or is it because my speakers are old?

Hi All,I have a new setup at home that is:Samsung OLED S95D (Dec 2024) Sonos ARC Ultra + Sub (Gen 4) + 2x ERA 300 (Mar 2025) PC with Nvidia 4080 Super and Windows 11 (Dec 2024)I connected everything as I think it should be connected: PC goes to one HDMI 2.1 port on the OneConnect Box from GPU Sonos ARC Ultra to eARC port on the OneConnect BoxUp to few months ago, the system was working flawlessly: I was able to see Dolby Atmos on my PC, the app Dolby Access was showing the configuration (for home theater the Atmos was enabled) and life was good. All of a sudden, probably after an update on the GPU, the Dolby Access stopped working. I can see that the system processes Dolby Atmos from Windows settings, but I am bot able to activate it from spatial audio settings.I tried rolling back GPU Drivers, installing new drivers,  switching HDMI ports but no chances. Hi,I’ve got three Sonos systems, two with the new Amp using the latest Sonos controller and one I was continuing to use my old Connect:Amp. When I tried to turn on my connect:amp after 9 months it boots up ok but I couldn’t see it in the S1 app. So I reset the amp, now Sonos S1 app doesn’t find it - it’s plugged directly into my router, I’ve reset the amp device and it’s flashing green light so looks ready to add. Any advice much appreciated!

I long ago sold my Bridge and my Sonos S2 app no longer show the device.  However, the sonos.com list of equipment still show it along with two controllers.  I only ever had one and also sold it.  How do I remove that equipment from my sonos.com system list?

Hi, I’m sorry if this has been asked and answered already but I can’t find anything apart from this old unresolved thread. Every playlist or album I start from spotify or from the Sonos app (using spotify) plays one track and then stops. Sonos Era 100Definitely not any kind of network issue.  Its driving me mad and I would appreciate any solution here so so much! Thanks!

I want to mount my pair of Sonos ERA300’s only once onto my rear wall which is against my sofa. I don’t want to be faffing around, drilling multiple holes into my walls to adjust their height so what is best : ear level, slightly above ear level, or higher?Has anyone tested different heights with their ERA300’s as rear theatre speakers and what worked best?Does raising the speakers up 30 cm above ear level make a huge difference>?Let me know what worked for you. Regards

Sometimes I just want Sonos to play random songs from my Apple playlist ‘Songs’ list rather than having to select playlist I’ve created. I tried adding the Songs list to my queue and to my sources but Sonos just runs the list saying the track isn’t available. I have to shut Sonos down completely to stop the loop. Is there a way to get Sonos to play my songs, I have a large number, randomly?

On the S1 app if you hadn’t played music in a while from the iOS app - and you went to play music it would ask you where you wanted to play the music.  It was a setting in the S1 app called “Confirm Location”.  Is this no longer available on the S2 / new Sonos app.  Was this feature removed, or is there a way to activate it?

I normally use the new Sonos App (Android) on either my Google Pixel 8 phone or my Apple iPad to control my system.  Over the last 2 weeks I have found that 25% of the time when I open the new Sonos App I get a message saying no products found? I also have an 8 year old iPad that still runs the old Sonos S2 App.  It can always find my Sonos speakers and control them. I suspect the new Sonos App is trying to log into the Sonos Cloud system to get some information for my account and when it doesn’t get what it needs, it defaults to displaying no products found.   Has anyone else experienced this and how did you resolve it? Thanks very much Dave

Just setting up my first Sonos, Comes up with error 913, cant find a solution

I use my Sonos speaker in my bedroom for white noise at night. I have a certain sound on repeat and the sound is an hour long. Every once in a blue moon at at a random time at night the Sonos speaker will start playing a random song and wake me out of my sleep instead of just continuing the playback on repeat

When watching movies and tv, I have my Sonos setup so my two Sonos One SLs are used as surrounds. For music, I prefer to have them on full/stereo. When toggling the option in the app between ambient and full for music playback, there is no difference.I used to have the Playbar with this setup and this feature worked perfectly. I just recently upgraded to the Arc Ultra and the Sub 4. Since resetting my system with this new setup and have the Arc Ultra, Sub 4 and 2 One SLs, this feature seems to not work any longer. Is this most likely just a glitch in the app or something? I’m about to reset my whole system again and just try to setup from scratch to see if it solves it, but was curious if anyone else ran into this same issue. 

Is the above current Setup the right one or are there any other alternatives

After over four hours on Live Chat and the phone with Sonos support, I still can’t update my Sonos One or Connect.Initially the Apps (Android, Apple & Windows) were telling me I needed to do an update. But every time I tried, the update failed with either a 30 or 1001 error.Online support had me rebooting the router and individual devices numerous times, with no success.After 4 hours they then told me the latest updates on the update server were not complete and to try again today. (You couldn’t make it up that I wasted 4 hours for what sounds like a known issue).Roll on to today and I still can’t update the system. Following a hunch, I removed the One and the Connect from my existing system, did a factory reset on both. Before adding them back, the system was stable and wasn’t telling me I needed an update. (Arc, Five surrounds, Sub & Move).I then added back the One (Gen2) and the Connect which had previously worked fine.

Hello all – I have the Arc Ultra set up through my LG Oled55B6P HDMI ARC port. I have an odd issue where every time my TV turns off, if it is not on the ARC HDMI port the Ultra is connected to, the Ultra gets disconnected. The only way to get the Ultra to work again is to switch the HDMI port back to the ARC HDMI channel. For instance, if I turn on my TV after previously playing PS5 through HDMI port 3, it will not have any sound until I switch temporarily back to the ARC HDMI port (2). Then I go back to the PS5 and it works fine. Also if I then switch to another HDMI port while the TV is on after the Ultra is already connected, it also works fine (e.g. after playing PS5 I switch to the Chromecast HDMI channel (1) ). I’ve tried turning off CEC and that doesn’t work. Would appreciate any suggestions or fixes. Perhaps it’s an issue with the Arc Ultra not waking up? Thanks  

I have set up a new router and my Sonos arc will not connect via Wi-Fi it is impractical for me to use an ethernet cable I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app done a factory reset on the arc rebooted the router and it was still not connect.  

My current problem is that on my iPhone I only can access some of some of my speakers and it seems different based on where I am in the house/which mesh node my phone is connected to. To further investigate this problem I've been experimenting with the webapp on my hardwired iMac and with that I can play music on every speaker but only certain speakers can be grouped together.Before I jump into some details about the issues I'll give you a full picture of my current network setup. Here’s an image of my current setup: Some notable things are that I've added a wired TP Link TL-R605 router into the setup to allow me to set my Deco mesh system to bridge mode ("acces point mode" per the Deco app).  This was necessary as my Nokia ONT has no routing capabilities, for reference my internet provider is Ziply Fiber and they provided the No

I have a home theater setting with front in wall speakers powered by a sonos amp and rear ceiling speakers powered by a second sonos amp.  I also have a Definitive Technologies in wall subwoofer powered by a Definitive Technologies SubAmp 600 getting it’s signal from the Sonos Amp.  The SubAmp 600 has knobs to control volume, crossover frequency, and phase.  The Sonos app has controls to control volume, crossover frequency, and phase.  My question is, which one of these should I be use to set these parameters?  What should the other one be set at it?  

Ok, i can't play music on any of my 4 play3 since last week. Either the app tells me a song is being played, but there is no sound coming from the player, or the app can't connect to the system, or There is the messagecouldn't play content. Try again. You can try as many times as you want it will not work I've calles the support twice. Really helpful and nice people each time. But the solutions are long : uninstall the app reinstall the app change network channel shut down phone. Unplug internet box wait for 15sec replug connect to wifi try ton play something. Sometimes it works but the problem will repeat in less than one hour.  I can't get Spotify ton play for more than one hour. Then the system is unreachable.Only this weekend i tried for hours tobolay something without success. What happened in the last update ?This problem is new. It should be reversed!Who else has It ?
