Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Yesterday during a radio broadcast from iHeartRadio the volume dropped to about half without me changing anything on the system. Today the problem persists and is impacting numerous stations on iHeartRadio, TuneIn, and Sonos Radio (I have checked multiple stations from each platform). I can turn the volume up to about double the normal level to get back to actual normal volume but this is inconvenient as then you have to change volume settings when you change source (or put the whole house on blast).  Any help? Thanks! 

I have a Sonos Amp in my basement and it powers my Bowes 251 outdoor speakers attached to my Pergola. I would like to add a subwoofer underneath the deck. What is the best seamless option to achieve this?

I have a Sonos amp and have a kef kube sub. They have been working great but today the sub is cutting out after 5 seconds and my amp  is not picking up the sub on my app. I have tried updating the system without any luck. 

My Sonos Move is stuck on white signal and does not respond tu any command. I cannot shut it down, charge it, or move it to Bluetooth mode. When I try to reset it by pushing the power button for 10 sec nothing happens.can you please help me ?

I found this “closed” topic about Sonos group doesn't work for Airplay.Sonos acknowledged that it is a reproducible problem. Yet eight months later, I am still experiencing the exact same problem. I hope that Sonos understands that closing the topic doesn't mean the problem is solved. You actually need to fix your bug.

Hey guys,I use a sonos amp with Jensen floor standing speakers, Yamaha 8 inch sub.It pumps but came home the other day and the “sub” tab has gone from the app (iOS) , no longer to adjust crossover etc.Tried all standard troubleshooting.Pls sort asap Sonos!Australia.

I have found a workaround to get a Stereo pair of Move 2 speakers to play stereo while on bluetooth! The caveat is that you can’t use the SONOS controller app but it will work with other streaming services.Use the SONOS app to create the stereo pair. Configure your mobile devices hotspot to be the same as the WiFi network your Move 2s are currently connected to. When away from your local network, enable your hotspot which will allow the SONOS speakers to connect back to WiFi and maintain a stereo pair. In bluetooth settings, select one of the Move 2 speakers which will connect the stereo pair. Stream or play downloaded music from an external app (Deezer, Spotify, etc.)Enjoy!

I bought a used playbar and Gen 1 sub, got both to flash green, but they won’t show up when I try to find them in with the app. I even plugged an Ethernet cable into the playbar and connected it to the router. Tried rebooting. Just no luck.If I can’t them to work I’m just going to return them. 

Suddenly overnight my Favourite Stations have appeared in a seemingly random order on my Android  phone. I had them in the order I wanted them but I can’t see a way of getting that back. The stations are unchanged on my computer app. Anyone with any ideas?

I am the primary account holder for our sonos account.  And everything works fine when I’m home - but if someone else is using the Sonos at home and then I leave the Sonos cuts off - any clue how to fix this 

As per the title I tried to get the audio from my turntable connected to an Era 100 over to the Ace but neither is the Ace even listed as a device to handover to nor can I handover from Era 100 to my Beam Gen2 and try to do a TV Swap? Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something?

Internet lost today.  So I quickly moved to my NAS for streaming.  That worked except for one thing:  When I tried to shuffle by song, it did not have this option.  Interestingly though I was able to shuffle by the same artist only.  Ideally shuffle would work for all of NAS needs with or without internet. Has anyone else experienced this?

These two paired with Arc Ultra. Would i notice a huge drop off from the 300s? We don't watch a lot of movies so thinking I'm not missing much when it comes to Atmos? Thanks

Good evening everyone,I’ve been dealing with a well-known issue with the Sonos Beam for over a year now.The sound sometimes comes through metallic/robotic.I’ve contacted Sonos multiple times, and each time I’m asked to run various tests, even though this is a known issue with Sonos.I see many people on this forum with the same complaints—some of these posts are from three years ago!Sonos still states that there is no known resolution time. How can this be taking so long? So many examples of this issue have already been shared. Are there others still waiting for a solution to this problem?  

I just read on here that someone was having trouble with blown Sonance outdoor but the thread is now closed. So have to make a new oneI have a Beach Bar Restaurant & my beach area with all the tables is 20m x 20m 1 side being the sea and the opposite centre is a tree planning to mount high up 2 x Sonance outdoor facing diagonal L & R to the beach and the Sonos Amp. There is potentially the option to use another central tree about 8-10m from the sea which could mount facing the sea or back to the restaurant I can’t find any decent reviews of Sonance Outdoor online, and nothing to give a sense of volume available. I have 2 Era 300 which sound great so I’m presuming at least as good as those...It's a sit down restaurant (but lively) so music needs to be back ground music (people shouldn’t need to shout) with great sound quality, but with prolonged use - They will run for 14 hours per day every day.Now I see the thread about someone with repeated blown speakers and others recommend

Hello all, now I'm interested in play audio in DTS via music or with my PS5 via optical to my Ray, until now I have been not able to play well, always only plays audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and never in DTS, I have a 2023 LG TV with pass-through activated and always is DD 5.1, there's a solution?

Hello everyone. I have spent many hours researching but I’m struggling to understand if I can pull off what I’d like to do.Our TV room has built-in, hard-wired speakers and a Fire TV Cube that provides all of our video streaming services as well as Amazon Music Unlimited. The Cube is hooked up to my receiver via HDMI so all of its audio goes to those speakers. I can walk into my TV room and ask Alexa to play jazz and she does. Life is grand.I want to expand this capability outside to the pool area, and since Amazon has no water-resistant Echo devices, I have ordered a Sonos Move 2. I was hoping to use the Cube’s Alexa to tell the Move 2 what to play before I head outside. I think this is possible?Ideally, I would like to also have the ability to ask the Cube’s Alexa to play jazz “everywhere” and have the same music playing in the TV room as well as the pool area, but this is where things get complicated. I don’t think the Cube’s HDMI output is part of MRM, so I started looking into how

25+ speaker household.  Every single one of my white era 100 speakers have slowly developed hairline cracks in the plastic white mesh grill, along the lower rim. The issue gets progressively worse with time until the plastic begins to fall off. No issues with the black speakers. They still look brand new  Seems to be an obvious manufacturing issue.  I’ve already replaced 3 speakers through support and yet this continues to happen. Support is now saying the warranty has elapsed even though I received the below email ?  Is there no path to have these replaced ?    

I cannot find a code at the bottom to add the amp to my system.Is it possible to get a connection without the 6 code?

Good Morning,I recently purchased a SONANCE MAG6.1 System w/ a Sonos AMP that I’m planning to setup in my back yard / patio area. I’m having trouble with deciding on the best placement for the 6 speakers+sub.I was leaning towards just covering the patio area, but may also consider covering some of the other back yard areas as well. With only one AMP in my configuration, however, it seemed like that may not be ideal in terms of adjusting volumes for the different areas of the yard.Would appreciate any advice you have. Please ignore all the brown grass in the photo - just had lawn irrigation installed a few weeks ago.  

HiIs there a timeline for when atmos willbe available through airplay? I have to use the Sonos app to take full advantage of my music subscription and era 300s and, I mean no disrespect, the Sonos app is a far inferior experience for browsing music. I almost don’t want to use my speakers because of this. So I guess I’d like to know if there is a timeline for either atmos through airplay or an improvement on the music browsing experience on the Sonos app. I’d be happy with either one.  For the app things like syncing favorites to Apple Music, lyrics wor would be great. Displaying artist’s top songs, then the albums instead of just a random list of albums songs and singles would be great too.

Can I use the TV Swap to move the audio from a Beam Gen2 to the Ace and at the same time use the Bluetooth microphone of the ACE connected to a PC?

Hi everyone,I’ve been using my Sonos Roam for just over 2 years. It is always plugged in via USB-C and connected to my WiFi network. Today, while I was listening to music at a moderate volume, the speaker suddenly started making a very loud and disturbing buzzing/crackling noise. The volume of the noise was much higher than normal playback, even though the music volume was nowhere near maximum.I tried to manually turn off the Roam, but it wouldn’t respond to any button presses. After about a minute, the noise stopped by itself. When I picked up the speaker, I noticed a strong burnt electronics smell coming from it.Now, it's turned off and I’m quite worried it might have a serious hardware failure.Has anyone else experienced something similar with their Roam?Is there anything I can try to reset it, or is it completely dead?Given that it seems like a hardware failure shortly after the 2-year mark, does Sonos offer any kind of support or goodwill replacement in cases like this?Thanks in a

Dear sonos support,While working with listening history tracking tools, I’ve encountered what seems a bug with how Sonos communicates with Deezer. Each time I listen to a track, the track is always put two times in the listening history: once the song is started and once song ends and going to the next one.Also each time I pause and restart a song the song is put once more in the listening history.The issue is not related to the tracking tool I’m using, it can be seen directly on Deezer webapp/mobile app.Maybe it’s related to the fact I’m still using Sonos S1 and didn’t upgrade to the new versions (I’m limited by my 1st gen play 5 speakers).
