Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hey folks,So I recently got a Sonos Arc (super happy with the sound 🔥), but I’ve been noticing something weird… every now and then it just disconnects randomly from the app. Sometimes it takes a minute to reconnect, other times I need to restart WiFi.I searched a bit and found a couple of similar reports, but not sure if it’s a common issue or just my setup messing up. Using Arc with eARC on LG TV WiFi is mesh (TP-Link Deco) Everything else works fine on the network Anyone else facing this? Or maybe some hidden setting I should tweak?Would love to hear your experiences 🙏

For years my SoundCloud account worked just fine through my Sonos system.Today all in SoundCloud all was empty but other services like Mixcloud were fine. I removed my SoundCloud account to re-add it but that isn't possible anymore.It says network connection error  I already rebooted the whole network including all Sonos speakers :(

Hey,Over the past couple of months, I’ve been using my move speakers to play music on when I practice bass. A few days ago, I went to play the music, and one speaker sounded incredible muffled like it was underwater, and the other speaker was fine. I could kind of adjust this and fix it with eq but it was still noticeably bad. I just used the other speaker that night. Last night, I went to go use the other speaker, and it seemed to have the treble maxed out on it with little to no bass coming from it. Same thing, even with messing with the eq, it still didn’t sound right. I haven’t used them since and I really don’t know what to do. I really want to avoid getting a new speaker if that’s possible. Has this happened to you, and what did you do to fix it?

I've recently been away on my return my system is offline i went to readd my system and make sure the network is ok and the sonos app on iso will not allow me to login so i can not configure my system pressing sign in takes me to a blank page I've tried everything. The system was working great before i went away  its it a sonos software issue with the app? .I've reached out to sonos support but tbh I'm more advanced with tech then the person i was speaking too so this was a dead end (not to sound arrogant)has anyone had the same issue and found a fix I've reconfigured my network from scratch changed dns incase its not compatible with sonos appreset all sonos speakers reset the app rebooted my phone tried on windows 11 pro sonos controller uninstalled the sonos app and reinstalled plugged into Ethernetnothing has worked ive managed to get the surrounds and sub back showing on my network but sti

This nonsense still persists. It's constant and annoying. Once you reauthorize, it never loads the service. You have to close the app, then re-open, then it works (until the next day when it stops working again).My setup: iphone app, 99% ethernet speakers/amps, high-speed internet, all devices have assigned ip address. No excuse for this. 

Awhile back, the Arc Ultra surround was changed so as to increase only the rear speaker volume with the TV level slider. I propose an option in which you can choose whether to increase the arc ultra surround and rear surround in tandem if you wish. This would maintain the balance between front and raar in certain mixes. 

Firstly, I totally understand that when the speakers are in surround mode, that they need to operate differently with less room for latency and error when they’re acting as Slave speakers to a soundbar. I totally acknowledge and accept that. However, I think it would be a great idea in the future to be able to quickly switch between a sort of “Surround” mode and “Standalone” mode. That way, when I want to watch films with the surrounds, I can enable it with the click of the button, just waiting a few moments for it to be configured and my trueplay profile saved. Rather than the need to set it up from new again. Same with connecting it back as a standalone device with my line-in input. I bought a pair of era 100s with this idea in mind, not doing my research to find out that it wasn’t possible. I am likely still keeping my 100s, but I would love to be able to easily switch between a theatre mode and standalone mode for these speakers. 

Soundcloud service has failed today and I am unable to re-add it. When it provides me with a code to enter into Soundcloud to reconnect it but once I log in and go back to Sonos it says ‘Something went wrong, check your internet connection and try again’. Other times it does not generate the Soundcloud code and just goes straight to the same connection issue message. Have tried restarting apps, turning all sonos zones on and then off at the plug. 

Sonos (S1 on Mac and iPad) is randomly losing connection to my music library… one day it will be working fine, the next it cannot find it.  The stock answer seems to be the firewall is preventing access/network or wi fi issues… but the firewall settings have not changed and everything else on the network and wifi is working perfectly.  File Sharing is on, Sonos is listed as a user with full access, have tried removing the library and re-adding it.  Works for a while but then randomly loses it.  I removed and re-added the library about a month ago and today it cannot find it.  There have been no updates to the system or software (have manually made sure that nothing is updated automatically that could cause this)… So I go through the same process, remove and re-add and it’s working fine.  Anyone else having this issue?  

This is our yard and the red line indicates a new pergola that we are going to install. All the gravel and some grass in the front will mostly be converted to concrete pavers under the pergola. I am planning to buy the sonance mag6.1 with Sonos amp (Best Buy exclusive) and was wondering how to place the 6 satellite speakers and the son woofer to get optimum results. We do want to focus on the pergola as the main entertainment area but would like to distribute atleast a couple Of the satellite speakers on either side of the yard. Woudl also need some recommendation on how to connect the left and right channels too.. Also this is the first time we are doing something like this so Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ok, what I want to do is to remove SonosNet completely and use only ethernet and wifi for my devices. Here’s what I have:PlayBar Roam V2 6 x Play:1I originally setup SonosNet for my network pre-wifi-on-sonos being a thing.I want to keep the Playbar and one of the Play:1s connected via ethernet, and have the rest use WiFi.  I want to disable SonosNet completely.  I have seen suggested processes that say to disable wifi everywhere first (I can’t disable wifi on my devices, the option does not exist anywhere on the app that I can find).   I’ve seen countless posts saying “If your devices are disconnected from ethernet they’ll just use wifi if it’s configured”.  I have both my 2.4ghz and my 5ghz networks configured to Sonos,  Sonos tells me they’re they’re and available, yet none of my devices are using it except for the Roam.  I followed advice that says I need to factory reset my Play:1s to add them to wifi (including the app telling m

My TVs main audio is connected to my Beam and it works just fine but when I try to connect it to my Kitchen Amp speakers, audio comes through for just a split second then stops. I can play any other audio source through my kitchen speakers but not my TV. I can also play my TV audio through other Amp speakers I have throughout the house but not the kitchen.  Thoughts?

So I had a cunning plan. I was going to rip all my old CD’s and play them through a couple of Sonos speakers. The speakers are great, but I am struggling to find a device to play them throughI tried a Brennan, but the poor UI, lack of a dedicated app, and limitations of file format and slow ripping performance has meant it is less than optimal. I could but a NAS on there, but I would like a box that contained online access with physical controls (and if it could connect to internet radio and streaming services, even better). I’m am looking at the WiiM Ultra, but Sonos dedicated support seems to be still in Beta, or unclear.Has anyone got any better suggestions? 

I bought arc ultra and connected to sony tv. TV keep changing it to external speaker instead of TV speaker. i don’t want to use external speaker all the time and turn on Arc only when I needed  

I bought new ERA 100 speakers and suddenly AirPlay stopped working in several speakers/rooms all the time. It was total chaos and I hated Sonos.Sonos Setup: Arc, with sun and satellites. 2 ERA 100 in Stereo pair, Move and two ikea speakers in two different rooms.WiFi setup: Ubiquity UniFi with Wifi 6 APs and USG Pro.I spent ALOT of time troubleshooting and started to get crazy, when I finally seemed to have found a viable solution. Sonos is apparently extremely picky with the frequencies and WiFi settings in general, but what solved it for me was to:Set the WiFi channel to 1, 6 or 11 depending on what channel you’ve set the Sonos net to (it should not be the same)  Set the channel width to 20mhz.    Lock the speakers to a certain WiFi-accesspoint (wifi hardware) in the UniFi portal.    Disable the 5 GHz frequencies on that particular accesspoint. So EVERY speaker stream on the same bandwidth (2,4Ghz in my case,

I currently own 2 x era100 (stereo paired) & 1 x Move 1I am considering to buy 1 more Move1 to form an other pairCan I then connect the two stereo pairs together in the same room?Is it worth it? 

Read a few posts about sub mini not maintaining connection to the Sonos Amp and I have the same issue. They are 5 or 6m apart with a wall between them. It seemed to be stable for about 3 days but is still dropping out regularly enough to be annoying. I’ve read about cabling the sub mini and in the posts I’ve read people suggest that is to the router, but I would have thought to the amp makes sense as it’s WiFi connection to my home network, certainly in my case, is stable. Am I just reading it wrong and a cable from amp to sub will resolve the issue? I do have a home network, but have actually found my Sonos devices work better wirelessly (the WiFi coverage is good), I’m assuming because, other than the sub mini, they use their own Sonosnet network? It would be a pain, but it’s feasible that I could run a cable between Amp and sub, but didn’t want to start drilling any holes until I was sure! Thanks!  

The audio settings in the app, eq, etc are gone again today. Reappeared yesterday for a day and gone again. Why is this happening? 

Hi,When I play Podcasts via the Pocket Casts Service on my Sonos system I get US adverts but I am in the UK. I have checked my Sonos profile and it says that I am based in the UK.If I play the same Podcast using the Pocket Casts app on my phone then I get the UK Ads.Is there any other setting that can be changed to fix this?Thanks

My new sub 4 initially connected to my arc ultra then noted it was no longer working and disappeared from the iPhone app. I have tried to connect it again. It goes all the way through the process and says connected to system but checking settings it says sub 4 not connected and no sound. I have tried factory restarting, resetting app, deleting app and starting fresh with arc ultra and sub 4 and resetting router and nothing works, any ideas

My BBC Sounds plugin has stopped working. Fine yesterday afternoon, but had stopped working by 10pm, still not working today. I just get a meessage saying “BBC Sounds couldn’t play Radio 4. Try again”Not working when invoked via either phone or tablet; Not working on any Sonos device, including wired devices. Other content (Sonos stations, Spotify) works fine.I’ve tried all the usual stuff which never works (cycling power on devices, cycling power on router), to no avail…….

I use the apple music but I cannot start station as before. How to fix it. 

Hi, I have recently upgraded my router and now my Beam, Sub and Surround Play 1s won’t work correctly unless the Beam is connected by Ethernet. Sonos help helped but after the best part of a day and numerous system reboots/resets I was told it’s down to the router not having split bands…? Vodafone showed me how to change it to compatibility mode, but still no use.
