Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a 17 device setup and have extensive 300+ song playlists on YouTube Music.They're leftover from the days when Google Play Music worked flawlessly with direct casting to Sonos, pre lawsuit days.Until recently everything worked fine, but today I noticed that the playlists are limited to top 100 songs, the rest do not show up!I deleted the service, reauthorized it, only to run into the same issue.Any advice of how to fix this?

I'm trying to troubleshoot my second hand (bought as for parts) Sonos One Gen 2. It is working fine, but the flex cable leading to the button that has to be pressed for reset is broken. Which means the button isn't working and it cannot be reset. Which means I have to shorten pins on the board, trying to reset it (as if the button is pressed).Had anyone been in this situation before? I'm planning to try with a multimeter tomorrow, but perhaps anyone know already out of experience which pins to shorten.Anyone that can help with this? The first picture is the flex cable, the second one is a close up of the board, where the cable enters the board. 

So I see lots of “old” (i.e., several weeks old) threads on missing playlists and no resolution.System forced update yesterday, finally, and yes my playlists are all gone.Are they gone gone? Like, the actual list will never be found? Because I have lots of playlists and, of course, had no way to back them up.

Is there anyone else having problems with changing the wifi?  I have updated the app, connected to ehternet cable and cant change to a new wifi network. Im going to network>administrate network, and it will not show my speakers. Im open for any suggestions.  Thanx 

[Edit - I meant to say “ever going to work”]It’s been several months now and basic functionality, like the volume control, still don’t work. I don’t know why I’m bothering to explain, since 1) everyone who uses the app knows this, and 2) Sonos apparently doesn’t read this forum, but:it’s now completely random whether the volume controls will take effect it takes 5-60 seconds to decide it often applies the change to some but not all rooms the room volume sliders bounce aroundAnd even starting a stream is a random process - the app thinks for a while and then, maybe you get what you wanted, maybe nothing happens. I was at a dinner party on Saturday, everyone has multi-room Sonos, and everyone is having nothing but trouble with the new app. I’m only highlighting one basic feature that doesn’t work. There are more. This is really inexcusable that it’s been months and nothing has changed. I guess the entire dev team is working on headphones?

I had a rat take up residence in my Sub and chew the 6 wire ribbon cable from the power supply to the main board.    Does anyone know how I can this part?  I have reached out to Sonos to no avail.  I also talked to some audio folks and nothing either.  Bricked my $700 sub for a $1.50 cable. 

HelloHow can you set the speakers to the same volume number?I have ten speakers which by the end of the day will be on significantly different volume values as people listen to different music in different zones at different volumes, as is expected.Problem is I subsequently want to play music on multiple zones, but I don’t want the speakers to be at significantly different volume levels. In the old app you could ‘zero’ the volumes by adjusting the slider down to zero. Then all the speakers would increment back up in volume together.  I appreciate that different models of speakers might have different volumes even if they’re on the same number, but I’m talking about equalising large differences in volume here, rather than arguing how exact they need to be.  Is there a way to equalise volume in the new app? I don’t think it’s asking for much, for such functionality, from a product specifically designed to serve music across multiple speakers.  Thanks

I literally can’t use my Sonos system now without drops and stutters. I see several convos talking about this, asking for a rollback. Seems to be some advice on how to do it manually, but others saying it won’t work.If anyone has managed to do it, please post here?

Hey,is it just me or are the station identifications on Sonos Radio HD channels gone? What I mean is this: “You are listening to Mellow Morning/Cocktail Hour”, “Dreamy and dark, Sunset Fuzz, only on Sonos” or “You are tuned in to Hit List”. I kind of liked this and I was wondering if this is yet another issue brought about by the release of the new app?  

Question for those that have the Ace: Can the ANC mode be set for different type of source?eg ON for listening to music on phone, but when taking a call it automatically turns OFF, and then ON back again when reverting back to music.

Good Afternoon All,I have had issues with my Sonos system for sometime, and have been playing around for a while with different setups but nothing seems to help.I have four of the origional play 1’s and a boost - the app is very slow to connect to speakers, sometimes skips to the next track half way through one, it gets confused as to what is playing on what speaker, just quite a pain. I do have BT, using 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz… and I have the BT Black Discs… (I tested my system with these switched off mind) still same issues.The app struggles to find the devics, and I’m at the end of my tether with them. I have configured by BT router to use Channel 11 for 2.4 Ghz, and Channel 36 for 5 Ghz - and set the Sonos Boost / SonosNet Channel to 6… hoping to reduce the interferance, but hasn’t helped.I have the Boost now wired into the main BT Router, it did seem to setup fine, updated, but now says that the Boost is unavailable and the app won’t find any other speakers…Sonos OS is S2.. Built 1…Any

play 1 - been offline for a couple of years, did all the factory resets etc, the soeaker is working becuase it played a sound during a software uodate. but for rhe life of me, i cannot get it to connect on tge app. the app cant find it. help!

Amp stops playing but App thinks it is Still going. Selecting a different room to add then causes app to crash. Pretty consistently. I got a diagnostic ****** after.  If it’s in a group it drops in and out.  I got six new Amps and only this one is giving me problems.  Moderator Note: Recorded and removed Diagnostic Number. That second TV Room is the Amp from what I can tell.   

Just updated the app to the latest release and entire controller is now Blank.No services - nothing. What has to be done to make this usable again?

Can a single Era 300 be used to process Dolby Atmos through an LG smart TV without a soundbar? Likewise, are the ‘spatial audio’ capabilities produced by a single unit?  I appreciate ‘surround sound’ but rather am looking for a single unit which reproduces multiple ranges. TY

I recently got my SONOS Ace’s a couple of weeks ago and I am absolutely loving them. I mostly use them in my shared office space due to the dual connectivity between my phone and PC. Unfortunately, it sounds like the sound from my headphones are “leaking” so loudly that someone on the opposite side of the office can make out what song I am listening to! It’s a shame because I really wanted to have the full listening experience of my headphones but I need to now think about how loud I am putting them.SONOS Ace product page - “Personal listening perfected”Otherwise I am really happy with them but this is a real stickler

Last Update, was ok,  not very easy to add my Arc , mini sub , and 2 One Sl. Trueplay with my ipad dont want to start. I have 1 start of thèse but no sound for calibration and it stop few second later. NOw it feeze before the beginning of calibration 

I’ve got Sonos Amp + Sub with a pair of KEF Q150. Looking to replace the Q150 with Beolab 18. How can I connect? Thanks. Beolab 18 First time setup Beolab has toslink and RCA. 

Only 1 speaker in connection of 2 lacks yet WiFi is fine. Please hit me with suggestions to troubleshoot

I moved and trying to set up my system, and the app is saying I am not connected to the internet, but I am receiving notifications that I am connected. Please help

Hola muchos saludos.Hace unos días tuve un problema con un parlante sonos play:1, resultó que por alguna razón con la versión más reciente de la aplicación Sonos S2 no podía agregar mi parlante a mi nueva red Wi-Fi estuve Intentando hacerlo desde la aplicación es uno, pero lamentablemente no lo logré. Leí algunas preguntas en este sitio y. Lo único que encontraba era el mensaje que estaba disponible en la página oficial de sonos, donde decían que la versión 80 y posteriores no permitían hacer downgrade de S2 a S1, entonces Procedí a buscar fuera de los sitios oficiales de zonas, una versión más antigua y logré conseguir. La versión. Qué se lanzó en mayo del 2024 entre a esa versión y logré configurar correctamente mi sonos sin ningún problema. No hizo falta hacer el downgrade. Al parecer la nueva versión de Sonos S2 Controller tiene algún problema que no permite configurar el parlante. En todo caso para quienes tengan ese problema. I have a Play 1 device and have recently changed internet provider. If the device is plugged into the new router, all works fine as far as the set up goes, but as soon as I unplug to go wireless, the app stops working, as if there is no device. I have factory reset, and the device works normally with the green light and chime, etc. The problem appears to be localised to the  wireless end of things, but I can’t think what it might be. Any help would be appreciated. 

I have my own preamp that switches between phono and TV. This feeds the line input of a Port. This setup enables synchronized sound in three adjoining rooms. This works well, but I want to add a soundbar for enhanced dialog from the TV. The problem is getting everything to synch. Another problem might configuring Sonos to understand the three channel setup.
