Every single day I have to turn off/turn back on Sonos multiple times just to establish total connectivity for my set-up (Arc+2 Era 300s, Sub, and 4 satellites). Sometimes I have to reboot the router. All of this is HIGHLY annoying and makes me think Sonos must be unable to figure this crap out. I have too much $$$ invested in this for Sonos to not have a solution for almost completley sucking the joy out of owning this setup.

What are the “4 satellites”? Have you rebooted the Arc lately?

Daily makes DHCP a suspect. It is easy to rule that out by opening your router’s DHCP settings page and assigning all Sonos a static/reserved IP address. Once done power down all Sonos, reboot the router and power your Sonos back up.

If this continues after you have done that you should wait for the issue, submit a diagnostic as soon as possible and then contact Sonos support with the number provided for them to look into internal data.

Do not post the diagnostic here, Sonos doesn’t like that for security reasons.

The satellites are just sort of “there”. I have rebooted the Arc.The Eras think on their own since they are Bluetooth. My phone’s app seems to work better than than my iPad. I occasionally have to restart the crappy AT&T router. AT&T’s connectivity is not good. But I am concerned that Sonos has gone as long as they have to provide us more than one letter from the CEO

Are the Era 300s being used as surrounds with the Arc? Because the Bluetooth feature is disabled on the Era 300s when they are used as surrounds in a home theater setup.

Yes they are. The loss of them is “repaired” by rebooting the router, but that seems like a big “ask” for Sonos to expect its users to deal with daily. As I have said, for whatever reason, my phone is better at driving the Sonos car than my iPad, which isn’t intuitive to me

Bought eras 300,sub and arc and I've had nothing but problems since I have had them.if this Caries on I will return them.reading online there are many thousands in the same situation.Sonos you charge the earth and it's not good enough.this update was a disaster and I don't understand how they can expect people to put up with it.im not happy to say the least.

I have some prolonged success here and there, but God forbid I would be playing music via Apple and simply change to TV with no disruption. Heck no. It requires going through numerous steps when it should. Simply toggle over, like it did in the previous system
