Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I got a new WiFi router so I had to update all my Sonos products.  I had to do an factory reset and all each product.  This worked yesterday and it was working fine.  I woke up this morning and the Sonos app can no longer find my system.  It is literally playing right now but I can connect or pause it.  My wife is able to connect.  I uninstalled the app on my phone and reinstalled and still no luck.  What a. I supposed to do here 

Advice please. I have a Beam 2 and 2 x One SL’s in my living room, which I use for TV and music. I am about to take possession of 2 x Era 100’s for my conservatory, just for music.  I would like comments on whether to put the Era 100’s in my conservatory, as my original plan, or put the 2 Ones there and bring the Eras’ into the living room with the beam.  Thank you 😎

Hi,    Anyone experience any changes withthier APP and System just by changing DNS in router? I basically changed out Spectrums DNS to Cloudflare and it killed the functionality of my app and system.Thoughts?Thx 

My current setup: den with TV → Ethernet to Port input → RCA output to 5.1 receiver DVD input2 other Sonos Amps running various other speakers, and 1 Arc soundbar (on a different room’s TV) on my household Sonos ecosystem.  I have the den TV connected to the Port to enable TV sound over all Speakers throughout the house. My question is can I add a Phono / turntable to the existing Port using RCA, thereby connecting into the 5.1 receiver and integrating into the Sonos system? I would essentially have 2 inputs into the Port that way.Or would the better solution be to remove the den TV ethernet connection to Port, connect the Phono into the input side of the Port using RCA, and then when I want whole-house TV sound, utilize the soundbar from the other room’s TV?  My den TV’s picture is not always sync’d with other rooms TV’s so I’d prefer to keep it as the main source of Sonos TV whole-house sound if possible, because it is most likely the TV that we will be watchi

I’ve changed network password and lost my entire Sonos system. the iOS app is not very helpful, neither is Sonos help section which advice me to do thins which is not possible when the products are missing.I have a Boost wired to a network switch next to my router. The system is two Amps and two Symfonisk Table Lamps. There is a Symfonisk Book Shelf speaker as well which I will try to add later.Running LAN Scan on my Macbook Pro laptop all my products are visible with one unique IP address each.In the app I chose System Settings and after that Update Network. The message is “No products found”.I really don’t want to reinstall and lose my playlists.Suggestions?

stop breaking everything.a random update caused my symfonisk frames to not work. these are NOT easy to unplug and reboot. finally rebooted the 2nd one after getting into a drop ceiling tonight... That one came back online and that seemed to cause a nearby symfonisk lamp (set up in stereo with another lamp) to not work for god knows what reason. sound only of out 1 speaker. ALL are ethernet connected. No wifi used so little excuse for this. Tried to unpair them and re-pair them (setup sounds working out of both). Playing music, again only 1 speaker working. Had to unplug it. Not to sound lazy, but the lamps are also quite uneasy to just unplug and plug back in every damn day this crap happens (the cords are tucked away for a seemless look). That seemed to finally fix it I guess. UNTIL Sonos updates something again, which will break something else randomly…What are you gonna break next buddy? I can’t keep this entire system up for longer than 1 week now without you busti

Sonos won’t access my music apps. How do I fix it?

Why is this not native functionality in Sonos? Now that you have removed Tunein and replaced with Tunein (new), preroll ads are playing before streams that have zero advertising. Oh and the migrated original Tunein links no longer work via the very buggy play.sonos.com which is determined to play on the wrong speaker, is unable to understand local groupings and laggy as  

I’ve had enough. I’ve been a loyal customer of Sonos for many years, but the latest app has turned a rock solid product into a beta product.Reliability is now intolerable. Dropped songs. Dropping Atmos tracks half way through. Not being able to add albums, it’s a shocking, shocking state of affairs. How can a global, well respected company do this to its customers???? I have had enough. These speakers are now paperweights. I will invest in some other technology. These speakers are now only good for the trash can. 

Hi,I have no previously created zones, would just click speakers on or off as needed from the list. But now I do need to create a Zone. How to do this in the new app? I can’t find anywhere to create Zones and Zone names. From other comments sounds like I’m not the only one having issues with the new app so I don’t feel too stupid. Yet. I have (4) Ones and (1) Roam. 

I have a Playbar and several Play 1 speakers. We made a change to our wifi network, and after going through reconnecting all of our smart devices, Sonos is the only ones that we’re having trouble with. When I went to Manage Network in settings, and then Update Network, it did not find my speakers. In fact it discovers other products that I don’t own. I’m not sure how it does that or who these products belong to. I checked with one neighbor who has Sonos and they don’t belong to her. That’s one issue. I then tried connecting one speaker to wifi with an Ethernet cable, and was able to get all of the speakers to work, but only while i stay connected with the cable. I tried to update the network again, and still the same previous issue. I called Tech Support and tried different things with them, and still couldn’t resolve the issue, nor could they explain why these other products are showing up. The only suggestion she could make was for me to reset the

Hi everyone, First, let me introduce my setup.- Hisense C1 Projector- Apple TV 4K- Sonos Beam Gen 2 - Connected on the HDMI Arc with a 2.1 cable. Since 3 or 4 days i'm experienced some sound delay. Here my experiments : I try only the Projector with Beam, no problem.I try only the Projector’s built-in speaker and Apple TV, no problem.And the full setup Projector, Beam and Apple TV, sound delay close to 1sec after the image appears. I discovered through these 3 tests that only the 5.1 codec was a problem. No sound delay in Stereo or Atmos. (I didn’t try Beam in Airplay but this is not a solution). So i asking please some help cause i’m in a dead end. In case its help, the delay became after i try the Sonos Ace with Beam. Maybe the next 1 or 2 day. Since my tests i remove the Ace from my Beam.

As I powered on my Move 2 (on battery) this morning, I noticed the status light did not illuminate as per normal (usually goes white when connected to wifi).  Nonetheless it IS on wifi as it quite happily responded to ‘Alexa’ and played a radio station, and I can also see it in the app.Anyone else?  Is this a new software ‘feature’ that came with some recent update?  If so have to say I don’t like it, as my Move sits on a shelf where the top of the speaker is not visible, and I now can’t tell when it is powered on and connected!

Hi everyone,I'm encountering an issue with my Sonos Arc that I hope someone here can help with. While watching shows, the volume will intermittently decrease to the point where I can barely hear it for a few seconds, then it returns to the original volume.Here's my setup:- Sonos Arc connected to the TV via HDMI- Sonos Sub connected wirelessly- TV speakers are disabledThe volume drop happens randomly, and it's especially frustrating during key moments in the show. I've double-checked all the connections, and everything seems fine.Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

When I open Spotify on my iPad and select aSonos speaker to playback music why does my iPhone and iPad seem to battle it out to control volume and selection The volume control is particularly annoying as it is a constant fight between the two of them!help please

I have a stereo pair of Fives. Up until yesterday everything was fine. Now, when playing from my turntable (connected to the Left speaker via line in) the right speaker will not play. Other speakers in my system (One, Beam) will play if selected but the Right Five remains silent. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have a Sonos Play 5 (gen 1) and Sonos S1 app on a Samsung Galaxy S22 phone. Have been running into problems connecting to my system as it comes back as not being able to be found. At times, I’m able to connect wirelessly using the Windows Sonos S1 app but again I sometimes run into connectivity problems. Have gone through all of the normal troubleshooting steps to no avail. Had a Sonos tech on the phone yesterday and they finally suggested I have Optimum (my ISP whose modem/router only they can look at and change many of the router settings) verify some settings. Well, after Optimum botched things up to the point where I had no access, we were finally able to get my internet and wireless back on line supposedly with the recommended settings in play. However, Optimum suggested there might be a problem with the router and I should visit one of their stores to have it replaced. Problem is that I’m not seeing any issues with any other connected devices and their router is consistently

Trying to conect roam to de app to configurate for first time.After sharing the wifi pasword and so on it shows a message (the screenshot below) and closes the app. I try to folow the steps this message indicates, but the device stays forever with the white led and it’s impossible to conect it again. I have to restart it to redo the hole process to end up in the same point of the message.If someone does know something about it, i would like to hear itThanks! The message is in spanish, it says Sonos roam has been added, but it may not appear in the system, in that case hold the power button 5s to power off, and then, power it on to continue the configuration form the system config. 

Hi everyone, I’m having trouble with my Sony TV and soundbar setup. The soundbar occasionally stops producing sound when switching between different HDMI sources. Initially, it would only occur when switching from an HDMI source like my gaming console to a streaming app. The problem was temporarily fixed by toggling the TV's sound settings from HDMI to TV speakers and back. However, now the issue persists even when watching content directly from the TV’s internal apps. Sometimes, after an episode finishes, the sound doesn’t come back for the next one, and switching the sound source setting resolves it. I’m using HDMI ARC and passthrough, and have verified that all settings are correct. Despite following suggestions from both Sony and the soundbar manufacturer, including disabling various power-saving options, the issue remains unresolved. Has anyone else encountered this

Since moving to the new Sonos app I regularly get a message on my iPhone telling me that “wifi isn’t connected” when I try to use the app. Wifi however is connected and the system can be turned on through other phones (which also randomly get this problem at different times). The solution currently is to wait for a random length of time….. seconds to an hour….. before the app decides to connect me to my system. The previous app was rock solid for wifi connection. This app is really flakey. Does anyone have a solution or share this problem?

Since the latest awful updates in the IOS app, I can no longer save speaker name changes as the useless ‘Playing Now’ window blocks the Save or Done button. I am trying to rename the ‘Patio’ speaker to ‘Office’. No combination of swipes or slides appears to hide that thing. If I click the back arrow, (the only visible option), the changes are discarded.I do NOT have Homekit or Alexa linked. How can I rename speakers now?I have the latest Sonos S2 build 80.05.04 running on an iPhone 15 Pro Max and all speakers are updated to current software. 

My wife and I sometimes like to watch TV together after our son has gone to bed, but having the volume on makes too much noise in the house. Can we both wear our own Ace headsets and connect to TV audio via Arc at the same time?

So I needed to check my Music Library settings on my Android Controller App to respond to another post here. Opened the controller and the Manage menu doesn’t have a Music Library setting. Checked the About screen and the controller is exactly the same version as on another Android that is showing it with no issues.Tried a Controller device reboot and still the issue persists.The Alarm option is also missing on the problem controller. 

The current version of the S2 app includes the capability to downgrade to S1. Go to “help and support” and you'll find it.Your products have to be downgraded one by one, and they need to be 2020 or earlier.I recently downgraded my two Play 3 speakers to S1 and now all the features are back and the response is instant, as it should be.Simply reset your products to factory settings, then follow the instructions on the S2 app.Once that is done, install the S1 app and create your Sonos system.If you use the PC app as well, uninstall S2 using Windows Control Panel and download and install the S1 app in its place. It will then find your downgraded Sonos S1 system and connect to it.
