Troubleshooting Samsung TV/ Amp connection

I have a Samsung TV in my screened in porch with an HDMI cord (in the eARC port) connected to a Sonos Amp inside which is also connected to two in ceiling speakers.

I am having trouble figuring out how to get sound from the Tv to come through the ceiling speakers.

You probably need to make sure that CEC is turned on on your TV. The Amp would be receiving the ARC signal generated by the TV across the HDMI cable. I’d likely reseat the cable, too…and make sure it’s capable of carrying an ARC signal (older HDMI versions don’t, 1.4 or above is likely best).

Oh, and make sure the cable is in the ARC/eARC port on the TV. Not any port will do, usually.
