Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a Sonos amp with speakers from two rooms hardwired into it. It’s been working great until recently. Now music only plays in one room, and I can’t figure out why or how to fix it. I’ve tried turning system completely off and also rebooting WiFi router and then the Sonos amp. This hasn’t worked. Any ideas? The amp shows up in my app, but I don’t see anywhere to select rooms or speakers. Can someone help me? 

I got the email about the new Sonos App on 5/9/2024 and updated the Sonos app on my iPhone 13 Pro and iPad (both of which I keep up-to-date with the latest software updates).I use Spotify as my music service and I have 347 different Spotify playlists. Unfortunately, the new Sonos App only shows me the last 50 playlists that I created, I cannot see all 347 Spotify playlists! Yes, I removed the Spotify service and then reinstalled it. Yes, I rebooted my iPhone and iPad. Nothing has worked for being able to see all my Spotify playlists. (Please do not tell me to recreate the playlists on Sonos, I will not do that.) FYI, the old Sonos app let me see all my Spotify playlists, and on my PC laptop running Windows 11 Pro I’m running the Sonos OS S2 version 16.1 application and that lets me see all my Spotify playlists. When will there be a fix for this on IOS? thanks

I have a beam and sub connected to my samsung tv in a media room. That set up works great. I have wired surround speakers and now want to integrate them using the sonos amp. How can I sync the wired surround speakers using the amp to my samsung tv/sonos beam/sonos sub?

Hi, I have two one sl in one room. I am trying to add an arc, sub and two one sl to a new home theatre room. I am unable to seperate the rooms and add the new speakers. Is this an issue with the new app or am I doing something wrong?

I moved 6 months ago.  Had a big sonos system in the house and yard.  All old stuff, S1 based.  I sold almost all of it with the house.  But I ended up with 1 ZP120!  So now I’m trying to set it up for my daughter to use in her house.  Downloaded S1 app.  App couldn’t find ZP120.  Did a factory reset on the ZP120.  Looked like that reset worked.  Tried again to add the ZP120 to S1, still can’t find it.  Tried power resets with no luck.  Any help is appreciated?  Seems simple, just the 1 ZP120 and my iPhone12 running S1.  But no luck.  How does the app actually “find” the ZP since the ZP can’t connect to the wifi yet.  I assume some sort of short-range comms?  Whatever it is, it’s not working.  Thanks in advance!

I am having a problem with my ripped music and Sonos.  My laptop is a recent MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.5.  o also see the same issues with the iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 17.5.1.  My tagging app is called Tag Editor and it is the latest paid version, 1.0.14.   The Sonos Apps are S2 and all the system software is up to date.  The music files are on a Synology NAS with more than enough storage space and throughput capability.  Almost everything is ripped from a CD using dBpoweramp in wave format.  On the NAS, all songs are in a folder structure with the genre, sub-genre (if needed), artist name, then album title and the songs are in the same order as on the CD; the filename is <song #><space> <song title>. I have spent a lot of time checking the tags on all 1,000+ albums and they are what I expect them to be; I have worked hard to eliminate all special characters since different platforms interpret these differently.  I have also eliminated all unnecessary tags su

I own a residential systems integration firm and have been selling and installing Sonos as our main distributed audio product for the past 12 years. My field techs are no longer table to activate new product in less than 45 minutes per device, involving 4 to 6 resets. Tech support is abysmal, rarely are they able to diagnose our fix any of the issues we are currently encountering. We have several large projects coming up with Sonos product, if Sonos’ doesn’t get this fixed we will explore alternatives for future installations.Additionally, we are fielding a multitude of service calls from existing clients having similar issues.

when i connect Audible to my sonos system it turns the volume of all affected speakers to max(100)i have only seen this behavior with audible, Tidal doesn’t seem to experience this issue

Hi,How can I configure some confirmation dialog, to prevent other users from stopping playback unintendently and replacing the whole queue with songs from the same artist or album, because their fingers were just a few pixels off from the “...” menu when trying to add a song. It is just so annoying.Regards

Why is there so much trouble connecting with SiriusXM lately?

On the iOS app new one released maybe may 2024, I get a delay when I change the volume. I might increase or decrease it, and nothing happens to the slider bar for maybe one second, then it responds. The old app was instantaneous in responsiveness. 

When will I be able to play my ace with my Sonos sound bar?

What seems a straight forward procedure is not achievable now. How do I correct this?

I have several Ikea SYMFONISKs. Until a week ago I had a fiber optic connection.Now I am getting ready for VanLife and would like to take some Ikea Symfonisk (Sonos) with me.I already have two iPhones (one with data connection) the other I use as a pad with the Sonos app.Now I have tried to set up my new system, everything works until I am asked for WiFi password and to select the network which I don't see. Actually it worked once (I manually entered the network name) but then it asked me to update Symfonisk and something went wrong and I had to start over, but this time I can't enter the network password anymore. any useful advice ?

After the S2 app update all the alarms are skipped.No alarms at all. My Solution is.Delete all the alarms in the Desktop App.Add all the needed alarms again.now the alarms are back.This happens with update: 80.04.04 and 80.05.04Hope that Sonos read this and fix this Bug.

this morning my sonos app will not upload any of my services (apple music, soundcloud ect) Has there been a new update?   

When can I expect the new update with the alarm function fixed????

I have 3 speakers. A one and two plays. One of the plays has disappeared from the app. I’ve been on chat and was advised to perform factory reset. Which I’ve done and now I’m trying to add it again. It just says connecting. Has done for about 15 mins 

Hello Sonos Community,I have some questions regarding my new setup before I place an order.I currently own two SONOS IKEA Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers. They are set up in stereo mode facing my couch on the TV stand.I am planning to install a projector, which will be installed behind the couch to have enough distance (it's a standard projector, not a short-throw one).I'm looking for a solution to send the audio from this projector via HDMI output or audio jack, while simultaneously playing the sound on my Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers.The solution I thought of is to purchase a pair of SONOS ERA 100, place them next to the projector (behind the couch), and connect them via a USB-C to Jack adapter so they can play the projector's sound without latency.But, will the sound be automatically sent to my Sonos Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers, which will be under the projection screen in front of the couch, and without latency?Thank you for your help!Alban

My entire system mutes randomly and without touching any buttons, The voice Assistance not activated and that's not what appears to be causing it. Are there any solutions? I have updated my system.

In spite of platitudes and promises from the CEO, on 01 August it is still appalling.  I have completely lost access to Plex and many years of playlists. It still loses the sperakers and plays different streams from different speakers.  Thank god I still have the original app on my PC. Otherwise the system would be imposiible to switch off. I was going to fully upgrade my Sonos system next year, but they can stuff it. I am going to a more reliable competitor.  This is how they treat their early adapters. After a decade as loyal customer this is what we end up with!

Using the physical buttons on my stereo pair play 3s with paired sub has a massive delay in updating the volume. Its to the point that I can’t get it dialed into a reasonable volume because of overshooting or undershooting.  These three speakers are all using sonos net to connect. The majority of my system is hard wired, including a playbar that sits 10 feet away from these speakers. Of note and possibly related: Sonos app has a hard time determining media is playing on these speakers when I initiate it from Spotify on my computer. Is there anything I can do to improve the performance of these speakers beyond hard wiring them? 

I have 3 rooms set up as surrounds suddenly 2 of the rooms disappeared. After rebooting my router, they have reappeared but now components are missing and won’t re-add. One is a sub in the living room that won’t re-add back with my Arc and Era 300s. The other are 2 Symfonisk lamps that won’t add back to my bedroom beam. This happened a couple of weeks ago with just the living room and  after Sonos support were less than helpful, I managed to get it sorted myself but no components went missing. Sonos support were claiming it was my network and wireless mesh system, but couldn’t explain to me why that would suddenly be a problem when the system has all worked flawlessly for 2 years exactly as it’s set up now. Any suggestions from anyone? Is the new app part of the problem? Again no problems before updating that either. Short of removing my whole system and re-adding it, or hard wiring one speaker and creating a separate Sonos network, I don’t know what else to do. P.S. after rebooting th
